Not pleased with my experience…read more I called and gave all the details I could give over the phone. Asked if they could give me a ball park cost. They said the tech could tell me what needed to be done and the cost when he arrived. When he arrived, he didn't even look at anything or hardly want to hear anything I had to say about what was going on. He basically just walked up and said here are your 3 options, they cost $270, $500 or $520. I said which one do I need. He said I don't really know, you choose and we will see if that's what the problem is.... REALLY!? So if I choose wrong, then we will have to do another thing and if that doesn't work we will have needed I'll spending well over $1000. H said yeah it's kind of a catch 22. I expected them to arrive and use some expertise, perhaps diagnostic tools and TELL ME what needed to be done to fix the job. Oh, and the guy said it was going to cost like $270 for him to dig up the septic tank. I could save some money by digging it up myself... ok, I'll spend 10 mins to save $270. So he left, I called back 10 mins later to get back in the cue. Before he made it back out I had l ready reached out to a different company and had them come out. I'll never call Roto Rooter again.

Mark was right on time. we explained we couldn't afford to make major repairs, but we need our water functioning. by 9:30am Heath arrived and got right to fixing the issue. We were made aware our plumbing system is outdated, and the repair is a temporary fix. but we are grateful they were willing to help get water back into the home. We did ask for an around about cost for replacing everything. so, in the future this will be a project we will let 1-Tom-plumber handle. The issue we had was our water meter was flooded. we called Huntsville utilities and was told it is our fix since it fell on our side of the property. We had a plumber come out and they made us aware that we have a crack in the line. 24 hours went by, and nothing was done by that plumber. so, we made a Facebook post asking for suggestions on plumber and I am thanking God that 1-Tom-Plumber was suggested. Thank you again for us crossing paths with them, and their professional customer services. A big thank you to Sarah Myers for referring us.

It got to the point where my household was showering in the guest bathroom every day, which is exactly as inconvenient as it sounds. I'd used Anthony from All American Home Services about a year ago at a different property for a toilet leak. That job went so well -- quick, clean, reasonably priced -- that he was the first call I made when this shower issue started. Even though his schedule was packed, he found a way to fit me in within the week. Day of the appointment, he showed up right on time. Professionally dressed. Greeted me and my dog at the door like we were old friends, not a transaction. Before he even started working, he grabbed a towel and laid it down next to the shower so nothing would get dirty. It's a small thing, but it tells you everything about how this guy operates. He diagnosed the shower valve issue fast, fixed it, and the water temperature was back to normal immediately. The bill? Extremely reasonable -- honestly less than I expected for the quality of work. My only complaint is that I didn't call him sooner and spent months dealing with cold showers for no reason. Second time hiring Anthony across two different properties, and I'll keep calling him for anything plumbing-related. The guy earns repeat business the right way.

Said the customer has to request to keep their own pieces of property that belong to them or else they take them from the customer. That's theft. When does someone have to request to keep their own property?? Very rude, even calling me "stupid" in reply to my Google review. Bottom-feeder company. I'd stay away. Tech was nice, but the owner is horrible. With all the other 1-star reviews, it seems as if he hasn't learned good, honest, fair customer service. I have texts and photos.

We called Duckett out to resolve a single issue - a leak - which appeared to be coming from our…read moredaughters bathroom above our master closet. Long story short - they did not locate the leak, they made a costly and unnecessary "repair" and left the leak unresolved. Throughout the "repair" the technician (William) left open the door for charging more for the actual repair (leaking shower valve) and tried to sell my wife on dry wall repair services to the tune of $400. The technician was also caught in a lie stating he told my wife we could just put an access door for $60. When we called and spoke with the owner he was extremely rude and confrontational, would not let me speak and said if I didn't answer all his questions he would hang up on me. He finally agreed to send someone out to do an assessment to determine the source of the leak (which wasn't done properly the first time) and repair it at no charge as long as we paid for the parts, which we agreed to. The morning of the appointment, he cancelled on us citing a note my wife made on the square transaction stating the repair wasn't complete. This note, which is not visible by anyone other than us and him, cannot be altered or removed. He refused to come out unless we removed this note and threatened to sue us if we posted any negative reviews. Bottom line, stay away from this company. They have an F rating with the BBB (link below), citing they didn't provide their LLR licensing information, and they use a BBB Accredited Business Logo when they are not one. The only reason why they have positive ratings online is because they threaten to sue people who leave negative reviews. We will be filing a complaint with LLR as we will not be threatened or intimidated from telling the truth! https://www.bbb.org/us/sc/greenville/profile/plumber/duckett-plumbing-co-llc-0673-90031668

This project was particularly stressful since I was having to arrange everything from several thousand miles away, but they took away all of the stress related to the water and sewer lines. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, Alisa communicated exceptionally well, responding quickly to my phone calls and emails and keeping me informed about each step of the process. Brandon was great as well. He went the extra mile, took initiative and requested that the sewer utility allow us to tie into an existing lateral line near the street. I had no idea that this was even a possibility, but this extra effort on his part saved me around $10k. Dominick and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to get this project finished in spite of the hot weather. The job went smoothly, quickly, and they left our property neat and clean. All three of them were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. On top of all this, Ethical Plumbing was less expensive than the other quote that I received for this project. I can't thank them enough, and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs in the Greenville area.
