This project was particularly stressful since I was having to arrange everything from several thousand miles away, but they took away all of the stress related to the water and sewer lines. They were an absolute pleasure to work with. From start to finish, Alisa communicated exceptionally well, responding quickly to my phone calls and emails and keeping me informed about each step of the process. Brandon was great as well. He went the extra mile, took initiative and requested that the sewer utility allow us to tie into an existing lateral line near the street. I had no idea that this was even a possibility, but this extra effort on his part saved me around $10k. Dominick and his crew worked quickly and efficiently to get this project finished in spite of the hot weather. The job went smoothly, quickly, and they left our property neat and clean. All three of them were friendly, helpful, and professional throughout the entire process. On top of all this, Ethical Plumbing was less expensive than the other quote that I received for this project. I can't thank them enough, and I would highly recommend them for any plumbing needs in the Greenville area.

I needed a new faucet installed and it seemed like a straightforward job that should not cost an arm and a leg, but, I was charged $630 for 45 minutes of work to install a faucet that I already had purchased. Maybe I shouldn't be blaming the company. Maybe I should blame myself for being ignorant.

They don't answer the phone, they don't respond to texts or emails, I'm pretty sure you end up an ignore list when they don't want to deal with you or they just don't pay to keep any office staff. My, even more terrible, warrant company, AHS sent these guys out to repair a leak under the house. they came out quick enough, said they need to wait for the crawlspace to dry a bit and would be out X date to get started. They come, get the bulk of it done, I have a pipe sticking out of my front yard leading to nowhere I don't really understand (still do) and I'm pretty sure its a hazard, but at this point, we're not done. I at least have water, and I've had other issues that needed repair that were apparently caused by a lack of a particular pressure valve. I'm like, cool, let's get one then so this does not happen anymore. It would be 3 more visits before this was done. I've been in the house five years and don't understand how it passed inspection if this was a rule then. So, there was to be a follow up visit to finish and tidy, Y date came and I get a notification they are "on the way" and they just... don't show? Up to this point, I was more worried than irritated. The main guy, Jarvon is the one I've been dealing with, and when I touch base there is confusion about what I would be contacting them about. Um? Finish the job? He's come out, still without the pressure regulator and gets more of the list of stuff that has been broken because of it. He is quick to fix anything tested and still an issue and promises to return to install the pressure regulator. He does, it gets done and from the first major visit on when he had a crew out and under the house, my AC is diminishing... but its slow. Then the heatwave arrives. So while I pay someone to come out and look at the AC, they find some of the ductwork has been knocked off the vent, its supercool under there, and one of my brand new pipes is just leaking its little heart out. I've called, I've texted and I'm just getting blown off. So...now I feel like sending this to the various licensing boards is my only recourse left. Bottom line, find someone else. And if you're warranty company tries to send them, switch warranty companies.

The technician came out started the dishwasher and discovered the leak. He suggested we call others to see about the floor damage. Most importantly, unbeknown to us, he did not unhook the leaking dishwasher from plumbing, disconnect the power, or inform us that he had stopped the dishwasher mid-cycle. We did not think to ask about this, as we assumed the dishwasher would sit there until it and the floor were replaced. No options were given. He charged us and left. We decided to wait to replace the dishwasher until the floor was fixed, not realizing there was a ticking time bomb in the kitchen. After drying the floor out for three weeks, someone happened to fully close the dishwasher door and it started up again and leaked all over the kitchen floor! I am shocked. Who leaves a client in this position? At least give them the option to disconnect the plumbing and electrical or even pay extra and have the unit taken away. Needless to say I have called JB Plumbing back tonight (Thursday) at 9pm when this happened. A very nice service clerk answered the phone but the first appointment they have is next week. I have asked to speak to the owner. At this point I cannot recommend JB Plumbing, unless you are savvy enough to make sure the plumber did his job!
