They know what they are doing- especially with ingrown toenails. They do not cut you or hurt you: They are gentle and this is a great place for ohana to get mani-pedis. Unfortunately- I- and many others- have been either cut or poked till we feel and see blood at another salon on the westside. These people at Lihue Nail Spa are safe and pain free. read more

Attention to detail, kind people, impeccable work! I highly recommend. Also heads up, On Google Maps it still shows up as "Ohana Nail salon" but they are now under the name "Lihue Nail Spa". read more

Excellent friendly fast quality service. Clean, respectful and reliable. Will definitely return when in the area.

Went to Lihue Nail Spa yesterday and it was horrible! The nail tech was burning with the drill when she was cleaning the underneath , she cut my finger in 3 separate places with her file , didn't talk It was like she was rushing read more

Good service and good quality from Lihue Nail Spa! Since I rarely get my nails done, I don't have much experience with salons. That said, Peter (who I assume is the owner) did a nice job on my full set of gel nails. Only Peter and one other lady were working the morning I went which made it quiet and relaxing. With the falling rain outside, I almost fell asleep! Peter also did polish on my toes which was a little sloppy but I knew the polish on my skin would wash off in the shower. He stepped out for about 20 min so I didn't want to wait to ask him to clean it up. For a full set of gel nails and polish only on my toes, it was $83. Is this pricey?? Again, I have minimal experience with nails. Definitely make an appointment since it's a small shop. read more

My nails look wonderful now!!! Peter ( the owner) was so accommodating with my schedule and was able to make the appointment without issue. And It did not cost an outrageous amount! read more

I came for the Royal Pedicure (scrub, hot wax and massage) and pedicure and am very happy with the results. Jenny did a great job.

Call before walking in to get a spot on their schedule. I'm glad I found this place in Lihue. It's my go-to spot, from now on. Nikky was FAST. She was reassuring of my color choices, and when I changed my mind, she was understanding. I had the gel pedicure, and it was prettier than I expected it to be! read more

Lihue Nail Spa - Peter did an excellent job on my Valentines nails, very professional. I have acrylic with gel polish. - Nail Salons Near Me - Lihue, Hawaii

This was my first experience getting my nails done and it certainly won't be my last!! Peter managed to squeeze my friend and I in at the last minute, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Although it was a bit pricey, it's worth the experience and quality. Our nails feel and look great!! The staff were all extremely friendly and professional, and the quality of the manicures we received were off the charts. There was no wait time and they were quick with it. In terms of covid safety, the salon is doing an amazing job. Everyone wears masks and everything is sanitized well!! I highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to get a fill or full set on Kauai. read more

Lihue Nail Spa - Acrylic nails full set in rose - Nail Salons Near Me - Lihue, Hawaii

Went here to have my acrylic nails filled. I found the male owner that did my nails to be very cocky and overbearing. He was trying to tell jokes that were inappropriate and didn't make sense. To the point where I was uncomfortable as soon as I sat down. The color selection is horrible here. Hardly any variety. I also felt that it was very unprofessional that they had their "baby" there running around while him & his wife were trying to service the customers. He rushed through doing my nails and did not do a good job. I would highly recommend going elsewhere. Before I arrived I asked what the price would be. I was quoted $45. When I went to pay he said, I'm going to charge you $50, okay? (With no explanation as to why) I just paid it because I wanted to get the heck out of there. A weird nail salon. read more

I've been searching the island for a good mani! Peter was incredible and changed my whole nail set-up. I kept breaking gel nails and having partial acrylic tips put on then gel over them....they weren't looking good. He talked me through why acrylic was a better option for the all around nail and then gave me the most beautiful mani of my life. He is a pro! 10/10 recommend read more

They got me in right away but they use the dremel tool to take off the gel polish. This means that your nail may get thinner. Also, the top coat that I received started to become cloudy after a couple of days. I didn't go back to have it corrected because they use the dremel and timing wasn't good for me. read more

I had an excellent experience in this salon. It is located very conveniently to the Royal Sonesta, and I was hoping I could get my pedicure fixed before an event the same evening. They got me in right away, and the service was extraordinarily friendly. My tech was a woman in her 60s, and she really took her time. Excellent choice for a salon in Lihue and surrounding areas! read more

Very nice pedicures for me and my new daughter-in-law! Walking distance from our hotel/timeshare

The young girl was grumpy. I asked for white, she said no you don't want white and painted them pink! I asked her if the pink will turn white? So, she did repaint them white, but was grumpy. I didn't dare ask for them to be cut shorter...they are too long! She didn't seem like she wanted to be there. The owners are great. I wish they had a better ventilation system though. The smell gave me a headache it was way too strong. read more

My partner and I forgot for get a mani/pedi before leaving to hawaii. We called Lihue Nail spa in a panic and Peter got us in later that afternoon. We had amazing nail techs. Thank you Jenny and Nikki for such a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back. Our feet and nails have never looked better. Mahalo. read more

Truly it was a horrible experience, they did not do the nail design I wanted. Not only that you can tell that they only work on square nails because my almond nails turned out horribly. The experience was horrid cause they all had the "I'm right and you're wrong" attitude. The vibe was off from the start. Would not recommend. read more

I had broken a nail and needed it fixed. We drove to them just to find the doors locked at 1230pm and when someone walked up, she was they were very busy and all filled but. But then proceeded to say she had to pick up her kids. Understand that one nail being fixed isn't as great as doing a full set but it's not like I was asking for everything. Rude service and didn't even apologized for not having availability. read more

Peter is the best! He was able to get me and my boyfriend in for pedicures in the next day. Very reasonably priced too.

The employees are nice and helpful. My mani pedi was very good by a man. Didn't ask his name. He also gave me some great reflexology massages for my back and head. They accept only walk ins with about 10 employees waiting for you to arrive! I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the salon and tub. They don't use plastic linings and it could have used a real good cleaning all over. But m feet are fine. read more

Excellent! I came here for a pedicure while on vacation and it was very good. The massage chairs were nice, the woman that did my pedicure did a great job and they even had a little plastic cover that pulled down around me so I could enjoy a soda during my pedicure. The pricing was great and they were able to accommodate my appointment very quickly! I highly recommend them! read more

Sabrina was great. Was able to fill my powder acrylics on short notice.

Best pedi gel I've ever had. I will definitely return on my next vacation. Reasonably priced too.

I was in the mood for a quick manicure. Almost splurged $35 to have it done at Alexander's Spa at the Kauai Marriott, but they had no immediate appointments available. I remembered seeing this nail salon when grabbing ice cream at Skinny Mike's at Harbor Mall so I decided to give it a shot. I was greeted promptly and was seated at the nail station within 10 minutes even though all three technicians were occupied. Place was pretty quiet and deserted otherwise. Pretty no nonsense manicure. My technician was pleasant but heavy handed and energetic with trimming my cuticles. No blood was drawn - several of my nail beds feel a little tender though where she snipped off a bit too much skin. Every other part of the manicure was done well. Good shaping, tidy polish application, great hand massage, and my polish dried within five minutes of being under the drying station. Cost of manicure was $17 plus a little over 4% of sales tax. I was looking at their price lists and the services were about $5 more than what I would see charged on the mainland for similar service. Overall a good place for a no frills mani if you're in the Lihue area. read more

Lihue Nail is excellent! I typically see Peter and he takes great care of my nails! I have been coming here consistently for the last few months after having lackluster experience at my old salon and always receive consistent, top quality service. WOW! I am completely guilty of selfishly NEVER taking the time to post a review but I MADE myself sit down for this because this business absolutely deserved it. I loved to Kaua'i in April from Seattle and was desperately needing something done with my feet. I like to walk around everywhere barefoot so it's essential to have my toes painted so you can't see how much dirt and funk are under the nails! Lol. I walked in and was told that a shellac pedicure would cost me $50. I was shocked at the price but decided to go through with it because they REALLY needed done and maybe this was just typical Hawaii prices. I proceeded to have the absolute best pedicure I have ever received. BY FAR. No, they didn't do all the little fancy fancy things that make it appear like you are getting quality work... they just did extreme quality work. Like ACTUALLY pushing back the cuticles instead of pretending to with the metal utensil. And truly taking great care with shaping the nails and cutting the cuticles and REALLY doing by far the best job I have ever had in my 31 years on this planet. And I have had A LOT of pedicures in my life-time. So weirdly enough... the $50 seemed totally worth the high quality work. I would happily pay that to know that I am truly going to have incredible toe-nails that last a super long time. I also think that this shellac job is going to last extremely long, she did a lot of prep work and I'm excited for my investment in my toes today! Also, upon checking out my pictures... know that I had not had my toes done in months and I also hike and go everywhere barefoot. In-short... my feet were tore up! read more

Didn't have time to get a pedicure at home before leaving on vacation, so I took a chance on the Lihue Nail Spa. Of course, I read reviews first. I can honestly say that the man who works/owns the shop gave me the best, thorough pedicure I've ever had! If you're after more of a leg massage, you might have to ask him, but I wasn't able to have one of my legs touched. I look forward to going again on my next visit! read more

Loved my pedicure. I'm a clear fan or Kauai Nail Spa in Kapaa but my friend & I spontaneously wanted to get a pedicure and decided on something in Līhue. I always wanted to try this place. It's low key and quiet and I like that. We walked in and were taken right away. Lady working was friendly. Both of our pedicures turned out great. My only wishes are that they 1) got a paint job themselves. The shop is so spacious and has lots of potential but is just so plain and looks unorganized. 2) played spa music because the silence was too quiet I did go in with a friend but we mutually just wanted to relax instead of talk 3) all I could smell majority of the time was pine sol.It would be nice if they had scent options for the scrubs. Overall I will keep going back for my pedicures! read more
