First of all, Janet handled herself with ease and took care of 6 updos and 3 makeup sessions with beautiful results in just 5 hours. I gave her pictures of the updo I wanted and natural smokey makeup and presto, we were done. Most importantly, getting ready for the wedding will be one of the most fun moments of your life. She was truly amazing - arriving at our hotel early to do my mothers hair and make up, my own hair as well as my aunts and she worked wonders, everyone looked absolutely stunning! Obviously everyone on Kauai knows that the only reason why I go here is because my cousin, Ms. Janet Duldulao, is a hairdresser there. (If you ever need your hair or make-up done go to her btw.) She's pretty much like the only person that I'll trust with my hair because I can get pretty picky. But about the salon, I like the colors of the wall, which is a reddish color, because it gives off that toned-down glamour vibe. Each work station is always neat and the products look sanitary. It's very spacious. I like that I can stretch my legs if I'm ever under the dryer. There's also a nail station in the back room, across from the hair sinks, but every time I've gone there I never see anyone there but that service is available. read more

Janet is a great hair stylist! I was in Princeville a little over a month ago for a family wedding. I had about 7 women in our group that wanted to get our hair styled for the wedding. It was so hard to find a stylist in Kauai - they are very limited. I'm very lucky I came across Janet. She was easy to book and she came to our house in Princeville. My son was getting married in Kauai and I wanted to look good being the mother of the groom. I didn't know who to ask about a good hairdresser and make-up artist so I looked up the yelp reviews. Janet Duldulao was the first name that caught my eye and basing on the experience and good reviews she had, I made an appointment with her. I called the salon to make my appointment but they gave me Janet's number instead which I thought was good so I will know her availability. She returned my phone call right away. I thought she was very nice over the phone. She gave me the choice of her doing the service either at our place or the salon. I chose the salon because I thought it would be more comfortable with the proper chair and mirror. I did't have trouble finding the salon. It was very easy to find and close from where we stayed in Lihue. I think it took me about 10 mins. to get there without traffic. The only problem I had was parking. The salon is located in a small strip mall and had a diner in the same location. So, I had to wait for someone to pull out from the parking lot. The salon was just alright but Janet was great! I gave her an idea of how I wanted my hair and she was able to do it. She did a great job with my make-up, too. She was so sweet and was willing to work with me. I paid about $153 for an updo and make-up which I guess is a going price in Hawaii for these services. My friends and family told me I looked amazing when they saw me. I highly recommend Janet. I'll definitely be back again. read more
