My family and I visited Kauai for the first time this month. We found Char and Dana at Koloa Town Salon through Yelp reviews and we second what all the other reviews have said. What a charming and convenient location! What gracious and gifted women who blessed our family with pedicures and a massage! They not only provided excellent service but were also very pleasant to hang out with for the morning. As a side note, our pedis still look amazing after two weeks! I should also say that they were able to squeeze us all in together with just a few days' notice ... I'm not sure but they may have come in on their day off to make it work for us! I was looking for a deep tissue massage for myself and a regular massage for my daughter near my hotel and was lucky enough to discover Koloa Town Salon and Dana! My teenage daughter and I took turns getting massages in the cutest little house turned salon in Koloa Town! My massage started with questions about my body and where I wanted focused attention, which I found especially helpful since I've been struggling with a frozen shoulder. Dana used hot towels to start the massage on my feet which I loved! She used hot oil throughout the massage which truly added to the relaxing experience. Her pressure was deep as requested, but not too deep. I started my massage face down and when I turned over Dana rolled a hot towel to put under my neck. At the end of the AMAZING massage, she used hot towels on my feet, arms and hands which was such a nice end to my massage. If you are in the Poipu area, I would totally recommend booking a massage with Dana! One more thing.... due to COVID and the lack of transportation in the area, we were not able to book an Uber or Lyft ride home, even though we kept trying. Dana and her husband graciously offered to drive us back to our hotel, and refused to take any money for the ride. This went above and beyond and we were so grateful (especially my teenage daughter) because the walk back would have been long and hot! read more

Ive been wanting to get a hot stone massage while in Kauai and Koloa Town salon was the perfect place! The price for a 90 minute massage was only $165! I also got the new OPI gel manicure in passion that sets in less than 30 seconds per coat (only took 4 coats) which was nice and quick compared to Gellish and Shellac. Teraden (I hope I didn't botch her name) was absolutely skilled and fantastically funny! I tend to like to talk during my massages and she was so funny and gave me great tips to eat at around Koloa. The massage was flawless, the whole experience was from head to toe! Maya who did my OPI gel nails did an awesome job, keeping them short like I like them and shaped them perfectly. read more

First thing of note is that Google Maps is a liar. This place is located near the Koloa Rd and Poipu Rd junction, across from the Chevron. It's a cute little house with very limited parking. I walked in at the same time as Taradan, my massage therapist. She was very welcoming. I received a wonderful 90 minute massage focusing on my lower back, glutes, and legs. She used a combination of a lavender lotion and citrus oil. Very happy to not have spent double the money at the Grand Hyatt. Yes the more expensive service would have been in my own private hale but if you're face down and half asleep during the massage, you're not really paying attention to the surroundings.
