Char gave my wife a new look with a great cut. If we lived in Kauai this is the place we would always go.

I wish i found this place sooner. I needed a simple trim to get rid of all my dead ends. Char fixed my covid/ quarantine hair. She is very professional and sanitized everything while I was waiting for her to set up. Call for an appointment- there's plenty of parking available on the side or across the street from the salon. Highly recommended! read more

I am visiting here and desperately needed my roots touched up. Char got me in immediately. I was so pleased with my hair. She even cut my husbands hair while I was processing. Really loved her. Her studio is completely her. Will definitely go again. Just knowing she's there and I can call her is more than comforting. read more

We love Koloa Town Salon. I take my elderly diabetic mom there for a pedicure. Char is so gentle with her and does a perfect pedicure. It is really wonderful. Also Char cuts my hair and I just love it. Not only are we getting excellent, affordable service, we also have a great time visiting with Char, who is a lovely, giving person. read more

I had just moved to the island, and was looking for a stylist to cut and color my hair. I posted on Nextdoor and was referred by several people to Char at Koloa Town Salon. They don't know how to put polish on nails or how to clean cuticles or how to file. And super expensive. I was on vacation and no other nail shops had an opening that day. Not recommending. read more

Me and my wife had an amazing massage here by Dana. She was very professional, friendly and the most importantly superb good. After 22 miles of Kalalau trail, we needed something to help us recover and Dana's used mixture of different techniques with just the perfect amount of pressure. I've had massages in Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia and couple of other countries I can't really remember but I would rate this one of the best ones. I absolutely recommend Dana Mahalo Dana again read more

My family and I visited Kauai for the first time this month. We found Char and Dana at Koloa Town Salon through Yelp reviews and we second what all the other reviews have said. What a charming and convenient location! What gracious and gifted women who blessed our family with pedicures and a massage! They not only provided excellent service but were also very pleasant to hang out with for the morning. As a side note, our pedis still look amazing after two weeks! I should also say that they were able to squeeze us all in together with just a few days' notice ... I'm not sure but they may have come in on their day off to make it work for us! We loved Kauai and plan to return to Koloa Town Salon with every visit. Thank you ladies! read more

Amazing massage! Really warm and accommodating, made it so easy and right in the heart of Koloa, so it was super convenient from Poipu. Thanks!! read more

One of the best massages ever! Dana is an amazing massage therapist. I couldn't have ask for a better massage. Pressure was perfect and I felt amazing after a long hike. I highly recommend Koloa town salon for a great therapeutic relaxing massage. read more

Ive been wanting to get a hot stone massage while in Kauai and Koloa Town salon was the perfect place! The price for a 90 minute massage was only $165! I also got the new OPI gel manicure in passion that sets in less than 30 seconds per coat (only took 4 coats) which was nice and quick compared to Gellish and Shellac. Teraden (I hope I didn't botch her name) was absolutely skilled and fantastically funny! I tend to like to talk during my massages and she was so funny and gave me great tips to eat at around Koloa. The massage was flawless, the whole experience was from head to toe! Maya who did my OPI gel nails did an awesome job, keeping them short like I like them and shaped them perfectly. read more

I was looking for a deep tissue massage for myself and a regular massage for my daughter near my hotel and was lucky enough to discover Koloa Town Salon and Dana! My teenage daughter and I took turns getting massages in the cutest little house turned salon in Koloa Town! My massage started with questions about my body and where I wanted focused attention, which I found especially helpful since I've been struggling with a frozen shoulder. Dana used hot towels to start the massage on my feet which I loved! She used hot oil throughout the massage which truly added to the relaxing experience. Her pressure was deep as requested, but not too deep. I started my massage face down and when I turned over Dana rolled a hot towel to put under my neck. At the end of the AMAZING massage, she used hot towels on my feet, arms and hands which was such a nice end to my massage. If you are in the Poipu area, I would totally recommend booking a massage with Dana! One more thing.... due to COVID and the lack of transportation in the area, we were not able to book an Uber or Lyft ride home, even though we kept trying. Dana and her husband graciously offered to drive us back to our hotel, and refused to take any money for the ride. This went above and beyond and we were so grateful (especially my teenage daughter) because the walk back would have been long and hot! read more

Char was great! Highly recommend as a pedicure salon. Close to the Sheraton Resort and others in Poipu

I was shun from the door and not allowed to get an appointment even for the future. I was judged by my skin tone even though I could clearly afford their services. Horrible experience. The owner told me that there is no appointment for you now or in the future because she is fully booked. She didn't even want to know my dates. read more

My husband and I both got our massages from Dana! She did a wonderful job! She listened to what we needed and would check-in from time to time to make sure the pressure, the technique, etc we're OK with us. She made adjustments as needed. She also gave advice and suggestions to my husband, so he would know how to properly massage me at home. She made us feel comfortable the whole time. We highly recommend Dana & we can't wait for the next time we visit Kauai, so we can see Dana again! read more

What a treat! I left Dana's shop feeling as though I had been very well nurtured and taken care of. I needed a massage badly due to too much tennis and was able to get an appointment right away. I saw Dana who did an amazing healing session that helped so much. You never know on a first massage but Dana made me comfortable and really listened to what was going on and how I am trying to heal. If you need a great massage I highly recommend Dana and Mauli Ola Massage. read more

First thing of note is that Google Maps is a liar. This place is located near the Koloa Rd and Poipu Rd junction, across from the Chevron. It's a cute little house with very limited parking. I walked in at the same time as Taradan, my massage therapist. She was very welcoming. I received a wonderful 90 minute massage focusing on my lower back, glutes, and legs. She used a combination of a lavender lotion and citrus oil. Very happy to not have spent double the money at the Grand Hyatt. Yes the more expensive service would have been in my own private hale but if you're face down and half asleep during the massage, you're not really paying attention to the surroundings. Support sleepy Koloa Town and unwind here. read more

Place is cute and well appointed. I had an 11:30 appointment with Maya? for a haircut. Arrive at 11:25 no one there to greet me and two other people waiting. She arrives at exactly 11:30 and tells me she did not know she had an 11:00 appointment - do I mind waiting. Yes I do. I need a hairdresser with some organizational skills. Omao John read more

We were referred to Dana on the first day we arrived for our one week vacation in Koloa area. 7 days later, we just had our third session (my wife and I). OMG, Dana is the most amazing massage therapist we have ever had (and thats not a short list). She is intuitive and combines deep tissue with long Lomi strokes in a cute environment in Old Koloa Town. Not only is Dana talented, she is an amazing positive soul. And the prices were very reasonable. Do not miss the chance to get a massage from Dana. We think we might have to come back soon, if for no other reason, Dana. Thank you! read more
