I shared a massage room with a friend and Nozomi asked the normal questions about pain and injuries before stripping down to "comfort level". The moment Nozomi began I believed I was in the hands of a pro who didn't require my input as she knew just how far to take me to level of pain and release without words. Appointments are a mess, made an appointment for two at 11:00. Get called back saying she made a mistake in scheduling, 11:45 instead. We had obligations and couldn't make the 11:45, was told what about 9:45, I agreed. Get called back, 9:30, ok no big deal. We arrived for our appointment and were given the "couples" room, uhh we need separate rooms, my friend has a jealous wife!! This was an issue, masseuse calls the owner, who made our screwed up appointment said we didn't ask for separate rooms....i said TWO 1 hour massages, if I wanted a couples massage I would have asked for a couples massage. After going back and forth for at least 10" we were given separate rooms. Good god, so stressful!!!! Minus 1 star for the screwed up appointments, minus 1 star for the room mix up, minus 1 star for not even making things right - thanks Michelle, way to run a business! read more

There were a couple massage rooms, restroom area was nice and large, seating area to relax before/after massage, and various merchandise for purchase. I received the Salty Mermaid massage, which is a 90 minute massage with a Salt foot scrub and hot scalp treatment with Gigartina seaweed, lavender and gardenia Mineral-rich salts from around the world buff away roughness, while shea butter and wild Gigartina seaweed nourish for silky-smooth, glowing skin. I desperately needed and wanted a spa day and I got it! The owner was the estheticians who helped me. She is SO GOOD at what she does. I left feeling absolutely rejuvenated!!! The boutique is really cute and very clean. It's located right by the water. I meant to post a review before but after my vacation, time just got away from me. I booked a couple's massage and although it was a great distance away from where we were staying (poipu), it was well worth the travel. This location is walking distance to tons of great eateries. Where to start... first of all, once you walk in they have fun things to look at and purchase. The staff is so nice and welcoming. The rooms are very nice and calming. I have had about 30 massages in my life and I can confidently say, this is as the best massage I've ever received. Rain was incredible!! I told her I wanted hard pressure and she did exactly that. She was using techniques I've never experienced before. She made me feel so comfortable and really got into my problem areas. I left feeling like I was floating on a cloud. Contacting Michelle at Aloha Moon Massage was very simple and I was able to quickly arrange an appointment time that worked for both my wife and I to get a massage. The small building where Aloha Moon Massage is, is right behind the Chicken in a Barrel food stand on the highway. Super easy to find and plenty of parking in the area. The massage was fantastic. Michelle knows how to find the troubled spots and her technique is amazing. If I live on Kauai, Aloha Moon would be my go to spot for my regular massages. I've done quite a few couples massages here, and we both have loved our massage therapist. They get the perfect pressure and always listen to your needs. I do have a suggestion though! The treatment room floors are very creaky, you hear every step they make and it's noisy during the massage. I was in my own room with the owner, and the other two women were together in the other room with other staff.
