My husband and I booked an oceanside massage. We had an amazing experience! I have had a least a dozen massages and this one was by far the best one I've ever had!! I explained to my massage therapist that I struggled with migraines and she knew EXACTLY what I needed. She found all my tense spots and basically fixed me! Having the massages along the ocean made it an exceptional experience. One goofy part was that you have to pay the massage therapists at the time of service via Venmo/Zelle/cash. Midday, we received a text with full details of where to go, what to wear, payment, etc. The ocean front massages are in a cabana between a hotel and the ocean. For the most part, it's secluded, but it is right next to the walking path, so people are walking by while your massage takes place. Passersby didn't feel as loud as the roosters, tho. While not directly next to the ocean, you can clearly hear the sound of the waves. Our massages were great. Loved the way Craig focused on the knots in my shoulders. My masseuse was Lori. She was absolutely amazing. She took the time to work on my problem areas and made sure to apply the pressure I needed/wanted. She was thorough, precise, and knowledgeable about what I needed to do for aftercare. She arrived grounded and set aside everything else to be fully present for me. It always sucks when you go to someone who carries their personal energy throughout the massage and you can feel it. That didn't happen with her. Lori prioritized me with caring, pure energy. This was not my first experience with Elevate. See my previous review - all of the accolades hold up. This is a very considerate, well-run business. They called me before my appt because it was raining a bit to offer a change of venue. Just one example of their proactive service. My therapist, Arien, was outstanding. It's like she's as much PT, OT, and physiologist as massage professional. There were times where I thought "wow, didn't know that muscle had an issue!" Her awareness is unique. The massage wasn't "this many of these exact things on this side and the same on the other side." I could feel her targeting very specific issues (again, sometimes without me being aware of them). My husband and I have gotten oceanfront couples' massages from Elevate Wellness the past two years. When we visited at the end of March, 2026, I was experiencing some neuropathy in my feet, which I assumed was a bit of a flare from a previous bout with sciatica. Craig was my massage therapist for both my visits, and he is more of a spiritual healer in my opinion. Based on an MRI, I assumed the neuropathy came from a herniated disc at L5-S1. However, Craig seemingly read my energy and addressed tightness in my neck and when he worked it out, I felt my feet relax for the first time in months! In my experience, Craig can sense what's going on in the body/muscles so he can address the root cause, despite what doctors may have said. What a great experience! We get massages pretty regularly, but nothing beats an oceanside massage with the sound of the waves crashing in the background while feeling the ocean breeze. Our massueses were fabulous! I definitely was relaxed and dozed off at some point. There is a walking path between the massage cabana and the ocean but with very little foot traffic except for the occasional chicken. They did an amazing job, even better than what we have experienced back at home or other vacation destinations! If we could, we would've brought them home with us! Lol. You wear your swimsuit under the sheet and there are privacy screens on the cabana. The cabana has a small public sidewalk in front of it that separates it from the ocean but it is not busy and was not bothersome for us! Not much to say other than an amazing 90 minute Lomi Lomi deep tissue massage. One of things that made it more enjoyable was that their cabana was very private from onlookers but yet close and off the coast which was very refreshing/relaxing. Just imaging listening to the gentle lapping of waves from the ocean. On top of that, Malia, the masseuse was great. The cabana is tucked behind the Hotel Coral Reef just off of Kapaa Beach. The Hotel Coral Reef is a small hotel so we didn't have to trek through a huge resort to get a 5 star massage. The HCR has their own parking lot so I didn't have to worry about finding parking. Plus, if you're in your Poipu, Lihue, or Kapaa area, you don't have to drive all the way around the island. Getting the appointment set up with Carey was really easy as well. From start to finish, this was a very relaxing experience and is definitely a must-do if/when we revisit Kauai again. read more

First there was no excessive pressure or kneeding. No over s stretching. The waves a little rain trees blowing bird sounds along with the rooster made this perfect. I almost fell asleep several times and felt muscle relax all over. Will do it again. Paying is strange as you pay part up front and then remaining and more tax with tip at end but it worked out even though reception wasn't great. After doing some research for massage places, this one came highly regarded on Yelp. So I made an appointment with Kerry and there were time slots available. She took $94.24 deposit. We opted for our massages to be at their studio vs. on beach due to the heat and humidity. Prior to our appointment, Kerry sent me directions to the studio, which was located in the historic Dragon building in Kapaa. It's located right across the street from a ABC Store. I was able to find parking right out in front. There's also parking in the back. Just keep in mind that the studio is a no frills place. It's pretty basic and has some chairs available to sit in while you wait for your scheduled appointment. There's only 1 room that they set up for either a couples or single massage. There is also an a/c unit inside to keep it comfortable. This is why I opted for an indoor massage. My masseuse was Tamara. The whole 90 minutes went by so fast. She was great with pressure and did not hurt me like other places do. There was a few times it hurt, but I was able to bear it. She definitely did a great job taking care of my body. After the massage, I felt so relaxed and sleepy. Normally when I get massages, I don't feel this relaxed, but that tells a lot about her methods. After we were done, we settled up and she accepts credit cards for the balance. This is a fantastic alternative to the overpriced Spas at the expensive hotels. But just keep in mind that it's a no frills type of place. You are only there for a massage. read more
