Booked this place because it was across from where we were staying. Had decent reviews so we booked 1 hour at the same time. Responded to my message quickly and was able to book for the next day. I had Avril, was very happy with her technique , not too heavy handed...different from what I am used to but I enjoyed it immensely. My husband had Janice, for a deep tissue and said it was good. Place was clean with a nice breeze going through. Pricing seemed high, but it was very convenient to our location. read more

Did a couples massage and it was very relaxing and masseuse was very kind making sure pressure was just right for me. My husband's masseuse was informative showing him some stretches for his back. read more

Had another great massage here at Ola massage. My husband booked two massages for my niece and I days after I had a poor experience at another location. We knew this place was good from a previous experience. The place is clean, the staff are friendly, the massage was relaxing and satisfying. read more

Really great massage, calming, grounding and friendly. The energy in the space feels calm, relaxed, and centered. Book an appointment if you need a little rest and relaxation and you won't be disappointed. The space is clean and the service was kind and very conscious. Would come back again! read more

Legit massage. Great deep tissue, she hit all the right places. Glad I found this place. I'll be back. Aloha

Long-time Certified Massage Therapist on Kauai for vacation and really needed to get some body work done so I could truly relax and enjoy myself. Went to Yelp to check out the therapists in/near Kapaa and found this place. (Also, see my review of Michael Massage). I had Elionne and my wife had (sorry I don't remember her name) an awesome therapist, too. Both gave excellent pressure based on our feedback and needs, but weren't so chatty that we couldn't relax. Pretty sure I fell asleep and may have drooled a little bit, lol. The massage area is spotlessly clean, the tables were set to comfort perfection, the price was totally reasonable (in massage, you truly get what you pay for) and both therapists knew their stuff. Will definitely re-visit when back on the island! read more

Great relaxing experience! I would highly recommend, Hawaii style massage. Clean facility and welcoming. Staff are friendly $110 for an hour massage. They use coconut oil for the massage and tentative to all parts of body! read more

I started a new job and moved to Kauai 3 weeks ago. I was in desperate need of a massage. Deanna was amazing. Some people just know how to give a massage. She really knows the body and all its physiological aspects. I liked that she did a full body massage from head to toe. I liked my massage so much I booked another one. The place is in a small strip mall with two restaurants. It might be hard to find. read more

The staff at Ola Massage got back to me very quickly about a same day appointment, and scheduling by text was easy. Deanna gave me an AMAZING and relaxing massage, pinpointing all the tension centers and providing helpful suggestions for things to do at home as well. If I'm back on Kauai again, I will definitely go to back to Ola Massage and Deanna. Also, I may be misspelling Deanna's name - apologies if so! read more

Honestly, the massage I got here was the best massage I've ever had. I wasn't sure what to expect but I decided to try Ola Massage since the reviews were positive. Booking the appointment by phone was very easy and they were friendly, upfront about pricing, and super nice. This place is probably the definition of unassuming. It's tucked in the corner of a strip mall, next to Tiki Tacos. The waiting room is very small and humble, they still take appointment requests via an appointment book. If you're from the mainland, don't expect this to look like Massage Envy. It's more like a mom and pop business on the inside. Filled out the usual paperwork and was then taken into the massage room by Deeanna, my massage therapist. The rooms are separated by curtains, not walls. But it wasn't an issue as I knew the other person getting a massage at the same time as me. Once the massage began, I was in heaven. They use warm massage oil and the pressure and intensity of the massage was perfect. I'm always trying to get a good deep tissue massage and it seems impossible to find but now I know I'll have to come to Kauai for the perfect massage! Or at least I can think wishfully. Deanna just seemed to sense problem areas that I wasn't even aware of and it felt like all my tension just melted away. It was a nice mix of stretching and deep pressure. But I also knew I could communicate if ever anything didn't suit me. Luckily, it all suited me wonderfully. If I lived on Kauai, I'd be here every week! Highly recommend. read more

I was dissatisfied. I was asked about my problem area, and it was not worked on much. Reminded therapist, worked on area 5 min, and moved on. This was a waste of my money. Would not return. read more

Really good relaxing massage, at fair price. I've had many massages, this was first rate, relaxing, therapeutic, and effective. Lived it so much my husband's going tomorrow! read more

After two days of hiking, my husband and I are a bit sore and tired so we really want to have a massage. We came across this Ola Massage and booked a two hour massage appointment on same day notice and they were able to take us which was great. Don't let the outside of this place fool you. It is a small place with only three massage tables and separated by curtains, however, it is very clean, neat, and warm-welcoming. Best of all. The massage was very relaxing and relief all that tension from the hiking. Good quality massage at reasonable price. Will come back if I go to Hawaii again. read more

Great small massage place! Was able to call the day before and get a last minute appointment for a prenatal massage (my first). The lady who massaged me was very knowledgeable, helped walk me through how this is different than a normal massage, and did a great job at helping me enjoy and relax throughout the process. Good pricing (compared to other locations), and was easy to find. Would come back! read more

DeAnna is amazing! I have the luck to travel often and have enjoyed all kinds of different massage techniques. This has by far been my absolute favorite. What she does cannot be taught in any one book. read more

I called in the morning and they were able to fit me in the same day which was great because my back was knotted up, but the overall quality of the experience was below average, especially for the price of $80 + $10 tip. People giving this place five stars must be crazy lol. It's not even equivalent to a massage envy. It's a small hole in the wall in a dingy old building. My massage therapist was an older lady, like grandma old, who did not have the strength to get deep into my back. She was a nice lady, but it was a weak massage. Big waste of $90. read more

Awesome place for a full body massage been looking for a place to go finally went to this place and I highly recommend it I came out of their walking on air I actually even fell asleep on the table very good place for a massage read more

I arrived on Kauai pretty stressed. My body was so achy and painful. After quite a search for a chiropractor (see my review of Swell Chiropractic) and had NO luck at all, I called Ola and when I received their voice mail, I just hung up (because I had left so many messages at other offices and never received a return call). Well...Ola Massage called me! I got in same day for a 90 minute massage with Sugi (very talented). The woman who returned my call also had EXCELLENT information for me as far as finding a chiropractor (Dr. Greg Smith). Thank you, Ola Massage, for you extraordinary service :-) read more

My auntie and I went here in Kapaa office for a 2 hr massage the day after our arrival on island. We were seen at the same time with a curtain separating us so each of us had privacy. Relaxing music playing, clean bathrooms, clean office, used coconut oil. I had a 2 hr pregnancy massage with Elaina and was NOT disappointed. Normally when I get pregnancy massages I am always disappointed as people treat me like I am breakable and dont really work out all the tension or aches that pregnancy causes! Not this, it was one of the BEST massages I have had in my life and I get massages at least once a month if not more. I really loved the deep, firm pressure for the whole 2 hrs! The pressure was consistent, flowed very well and hit all the right spots and some I didnt even know needed it. I am now going to request some of Elaina's moves from my monthly massage therapist I see at home. I seriously had such a great massage I never wanted it to end and wished that Elaina was in Seattle so I could see her regularly. My auntie who is 69 years old also loved her massage from Elionne. She keeps speaking of it to this day. We highly recommend both ladies, totally worth the time and money. We were so relaxed and recharged for the rest of our trip. I wish we could see them more often. We will definitely make time to see these ladies every time we visit Kauai. read more

I've been going to Ola Massage for several years now. The staff is friendly and professional and very attentive to my needs. I always leave with my mind and body in a better space. Between my partner and myself we have had 8 of their therapists work their magic and all are exceptional at what they do. Highly recommended! read more

My husband and were a day away from leaving Kauai and knew a massage would spell as an amazing exit to our wonderful weeks in Hawaii. The rates at our hotel were ridiculous so we turned to yelp. We found Ola and were able to get an appointment later that day. It's extremely reasonable so we chose the $105 90 minute sessions. The place is located in a small strip mall. It's all no frills but the women are nice. My husband had the deep tissue which was $15 more, which we found out when checking in. The massage for me flew by. I got a bit distracted at once point to the sound of children playing outside in the parking lot, which I could hear from the room I was in. I still felt relaxed but my only other complaint would be there was a lot of oil used. After we were going right to dinner and I felt slick. Hey it helped my tan though! My husband said his deep tissue was really good. The girl he had, while small in figure, gave heavy pressure. Overall for these 2 massages we'll round to 4 stars. read more

Was staying in a hotel very close by, so while out walking we decided to stop in. Ola Massage had very good reviews and thought it was worth a try. The reviewers were right. We were able to get in later in the day and it was worth every penny. I had a massage therapist named Jill and even though it was the first time visiting the studio and having Jill, she was able to immediately pinpoint where my sore spots were and worked those areas. I did feel a bit beat up afterwards, but in a good way. It was exactly the massage I needed. I had a 60 minute session and wished I would have booked for a longer one. I've had numerous massages, and this definitely ranks near the top. The studio isn't much to look at from the outside and is even less so on the inside. There are two "rooms", which are basically curtain divided. So you can hear the other conversation going on in the other "room". However it is quite muffled, so it's not like its all audible, or that you are eavesdropping in on a conversation. The studio is clean and that is probably one of the more important priorities. Even though the highway is close by, I didn't hear the noise from the road at all. The cost was reasonable. More that what I would pay at home. However most things on Kauai have a premium price. When I'm back on Kauai, I'll definitely look at booking another appointment at Ola. read more

We visited Ola massage at the end of our vacation in Hawaii just prior to our return flight - and oh what a great decision it was. She and her daughter(?) completely turned our aches and pains into happy puddles : ). The pressure, sensations, smells, pace - everything felt heavenly! I called Friday morning and left a message to see if I could come in sometime that day for a 90 minute massage. Susan called back within 20 minutes and was able to fit me in at 12:30. It's not a fancy place with Vichy showers and lounges but it is a great place to get a great massage at a reasonable price. $105 for a 90 minute massage. The atmosphere was clean and peaceful. I went there when I was on the island 7 years ago and will most likely go again before we leave. read more

I have never felt so violated and disrespect by Massage Therapists. My husband and I both had 90 Min massages here. Their website says nothing about Reiki or Lomi Lomi. Once we arrived I saw flyers in the office adverting those treatments. Once I was taken back to what they call a room. It's an area made up of curtains. I respectfully asked the Therapist to not do those treatments on me, that I wasn't comfortable with it and please don't do it. She got an attitude. I asked if the Therapist working with my husband did those modalities as well so I went back to the waiting room to inform that Therapists we aren't comfortable with that. That Therapist had the nerve to laugh in my face. If we weren't in so much Pain I would have walked out. I should have walked out. The Therapist I was with made me eat a piece of Salt saying she wouldn't massage me and won't massage anyone if they don't eat the salt. Something that isn't on their website or on any of their paperwork. Her massage was horrible. She ripped through the knots in my shoulders causing so much pain. I repeatedly told her to let up on the pressure. I know she did some Reiki on me because she was doing some weird motion. Then while on my back she kept rubbing her hands together and holding them over my head. She only stoped after I opened my eyes and asked what she was doing. This place is a joke and they should be shut down. How dare they force people to do things they aren't comfortable with. I was violated against my will. I was so upset upon leaving I didn't even think to get the Therapists name. I wish I would have so i could report her to the ethics board. read more

I slept on my neck wrong and couldn't turn my head. Pretty miserable being on vacation and having neck pain. Prayed to find a good place to get a massage. Called Ola and she was able to get me in in just a few hours. Magical!!! She was so intuitive. Gentle but firm. This sounds weird but I described it to my husband as Hawaii dance massage. Her hands flowed like a beautiful dance. Needless to say, my neck is 95% better today and I am able to enjoy my vacation. Thank you read more

Great high quality therapy at a great price. Make an appointment ahead of time. They fill up quickly.

This review is long overdue. We were out on island back in June for our babymoon. I had the most amazing prenatal massage. This is a no-frills place, clean and comfortable. I've had other prenatal massages and it feels mostly like someone is rubbing oil on vs. an actual massage. At Ola the pressure was firm and perfect and she knew exactly how to work on the areas where my muscles had been tight from carrying baby. I definitely recommend them and would go back anytime. read more

Definitely, if you are in need of a great massage when you are in Kauai, this is the place to go!! Unfortunately, I was staying at a resort near by and scheduled a massage at the resort before going to OLA massage, big mistake, taught me to definitely, ask around and check out the recommendations online before ever making an appt for massage. OLA massage therapy has great service, knowledgeable therapists, great ratings. read more

Elly was my massage therapist and let's note that this was my first full body massage ever. Never got a massage in my life so it was going to be very interesting to see what it was like for the first time. When I got there, elly checked me in and she was the sweetest. Once I got into the back it was small but I'm not a person to care so much about the size of the area but the feel of the ambiance and it was very peaceful and zen. Elly was amazing and I really enjoyed the service! One thing I can advice to first timer massage clients is to not sit up too quick as I did and felt really light headed. However, elly was very prepared and offered me water multiple times which helped so much. If you're reading this elly, thank you so much!! I look forward to coming again. read more

Best massage ever!! The place is professional, clean & private. The body oils used are nice and soothing. The music is earthereal relaxing. Lorna's hands are magical!! I've been a regular here for about 15 years. The owner, Charlotte and manager Elena, are great. They only hire people with excellent skills. Please tip your therapist very, very well. These people work hard and their hands and joints pay a price for making you feel better. I often call them on my way home from work, hoping there is a random opening for a massage. Nothing fancy here - just a good massage from nice hard-working people. read more
