Heavenly indeed! Micheal was wonderful. On our last day In Kauai we had a late flight home so we're basically just tooling around the island. We couldn't even get any spa to answer the phone. Micheal not only answered but had a last minute availability and I was able to get an excellent massage with an experienced masseuse who worked out all my knots and even put up with my running allergies! Thank s again Michael! read more

Nice staff, however it's a bit pricey for the service I got. I had a sore spot on my shoulder which I pointed to, but the massage therapist just massaged around the spot and didn't actually engage it :-/ read more

And a heavenly massage it truly was. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. My husband agreed, as we enjoyed back to back massages. Tara has that amazing intuitive skill of finding those spots that need attention, with just the right pressure. She has a gift and she offers it at a reasonable price in her sweet little studio, or for a small amount more, she will bring her massage to you. I plan to come back on my next visit to Kauai. Don't hesitate- book your appointment now! read more

I came to massage with Tara. Told her I have lot of pain in my upper arm, calf and butt and wanted massage in those spots in particular. She gave me a really good back massage, she actually found pain spots which I didn't even know existed.. but the massage on the actua pain points was super short and did not even address the actual pain points on calf, upper arm or butt. Was disappointed with that, she did a lot of general light handed oil massage which was not that helpful. Kept guiding her to where I have pain, but didn't help. Price was good in comparison to rest of the island. And she added coconut oil to my hair and didn't even tell me!! read more

Tara was amazing . She was accommodating with the day and time. She is an amazing masseuse and knew the body and all the points to work on. Easy to find and tons of parking . Highly recommend . read more

Disappointed. FOR CLARIFICATION: **Owner commented on my review saying I've "wronged the company" but I'm always truthful and Tara is the one who was my massage therapist . She's claiming I did a mobile massage but I was waiting in the parking lot at A Heavenly Massage in Kapa'a by the burger joint.** Sad to see this kind of response. I was really looking forward to my massage but it didn't turn out great at all. :( My massage was scheduled for 9:30am and my therapist was 45 minutes late. I started to call other massage places but they didn't have any openings so I waited until my massage therapist arrived. When my therapist finally arrived, she seemed distracted and it was showing. She didn't give good customer service but it wasn't bad. She didn't talk in a calming way how most therapists do. Her tone was very plain and seemed uninterested. Overall she seemed rushed and distracted. She felt bad she was late and gave me $10 off my massage and apologized. I gave her a good tip and told her I understand but overall will not be returning to this place. read more

My massage was excellent! I left feeling relaxed with no tension in my muscles or joints. Tara listened to everything I needed done and applied just the right amount of pressure when needed. I highly recommend A Heavenly Massage for an amazing massage at a reasonable price! read more

If you are looking for a great affordable massage look no further. Tara squeezed me in for an excellent 60 min massage. Great walkable location and I love that she used coconut oil. Highly recommend! read more

Total waste of money. Did not give me the full hour, she kept rubbing the same spot I told her not to touch from pain. Her massage room is a bit of a dump but if she tried harder and showed a little interest in her job as a masseuse I would not have cared. She was cold and distant. Staring off into space the entire time. I don't know what she was thinking about during the massage but it certainly wasn't me. Another business in Kappa that counts on tourists coming in every day no matter what. I should've saved my money and gone to dinner. I did leave her a small tip just to be polite. read more

Thank you Tara and Michael for an awesome massage. Michael's technique was different and great in hitting all the spot that needed attention. I was trying to remember his techniques but I was so relax to remember Their pricing is very reasonable in this Island. This is the spot to go for sure on massage read more

This is my go to massage spot on the island as a local. I've tried many places on the island and have gotten massages from all over the world. First of all, Tara is very good at what she does. She never stops working on your body throughout the entire massage. Pressures and focuses can be adjusted as you wish. Mahalo for consistently helping my body feel better! read more

Tara is outstanding! I have massages all over the world, and Tara's was one of the best. I had a 2 hour massage, and was left relaxed and feeling much better. Just what I needed. Thank you Tara! read more

Tara has given me about 8 massages and always does a great job and conveniently located in kapaa

Excellent massage and really inexpensive pricing since $90 for 90 min is a steal in Kauai...or anywhere for that matter. It was great to completely relax after riding a beach cruiser around the island for a couple hours. Keep in mind there's only one practitioner so services are back to back but I've never been a fan of couple's massage anyways. There's some great shopping and shaved ice in the area so I kept myself busy while my husband got his massage. read more

If you want a reasonable massage, less than $100 and friendly people, then I highly recommend this place. I called Saturday for an appointment the next day and Tara was sweet to accommodate us. 1 hour massage $75, 1.5 hour $105... such a great deal! The facility is not fancy but the price and service is great. Tara worked on my husband and he was pleased. Michael the other massage therapist did an awesome job with relaxing my tensions. We will definitely come back and will recommend this place. Never again will I pay $110 or $130 for a massage while in Kauai. read more

A massage with Tara, is totally recommended. She is a lovely person while being very professional. I found her massage really helped me relax & unwind during our holiday. The cost of a massage was the most reasonable I found in the local area. Also there are coupons in some nearby local restaurants that offer $5 off. The room where the massage took place was clean, pleasantly decorated and the temperature was just right too. read more

I have had several massages by Tara and she is absolutely fabulous. She gives an amazing massage, the best I've had on the island for sure. She has a nice location in the heart of Kapaa town with ample parking on the street or in a nearby parking lot. I honestly can't recommend her highly enough! read more

Tara at Heavenly Massage offers an awesome massage. She works out the body stress and knows how to sooth each body muscle. Her studio is upstairs in a historic building in the heart of old Kapa'a Town. It is clean and comfortable. Tara is nice and listens to your requests. Her price is super reasonable for such a great massage. read more

Had a great 90 minute massage with Tara. Friendly and professional. Clean room and relaxing music, although I was expecting Hawaiian music. She didn't talk a lot which I appreciate when I get a massage. She used combo deep, Swedish and lomi lomi. It was perfect for my tight shoulders. Will go back and highly recommend. read more

I got a great medium pressure massage from Tara. Before the massage, she asked which areas i wanted her to focus on. During the massage, she definitely focused on these areas which i appreciate. My muscles definitely feel more relaxed after getting her massage. My only complaint is that i was not wiped down with warm towels after the massage leaving my entire body extremelt oily. When i sat in the car, everything i touched had oil on it. Its been a couple hours after my amssage and my arms and legs are still drenched in oil. A hot towel would have been nice to wile off any excess, which i'm used to at other places. Other than that, it was a great massage! Thank you for being Tara! read more

Tara is a miracle worker! Not only did she fit me in for a same-day appointment; but I came in with horrible knots in my back and she had the stamina and strength to work them out, without hurting me. Best massage I've EVER had! And her prices are so affordable, I'll definitely be back again soon! read more

Tara is easy to schedule, accommodating and a nice therepist. She is great with relaxing massages. She can go deep but she is surely not a pure at deep tissue. So if you are looking for a relaxing massage she will do amazing. If you are looking for sports/deep tissue massage she will not be able to fully help you. She did good strokes on my neck when I was facing up but when I was on my back the massage was a bit frustrating for me as I liked deep pressure and it was light pressure and relaxing. I will say her pressure level is between 5-6. So someone who likes that kind is massage might rate her much higher and even 5 stars. I am rating her lower as I had asked her before coming in if she could do deep tissue and she said she can work on it. So it was disappointing for me. But please see her is she meets your needs. She is a great therapist for anyone looking for Swedish/relaxing massage or don't need deep pressure. read more

Tara is wonderful! Easy to schedule. Asks if any areas need attention. She works very hard to give a fantastic massage. Very consistent with regular visits. Highest recommendation! read more

Tara is fantastic! This is the third time I've seen her for massage. She is skilled and intuitive plus she is a genuinely nice person. When in Kauai, don't miss the chance to get a truly great massage from Tara. Don't limit yourself to one hour; go for 90 minutes or even two hours! read more

Another great massage from Tara. If you are looking for a great massage from head to toe, then look no further. Tara is an experienced masseuse who is not only sweet and lovely, she gives an awesome, deep and relaxing massage. She is able to go deep but without hurting you. Whenever I come to Kauai, I do not leave without visiting Tara. Her office is super easy to get to, and you will leave feeling light and relaxed. Mahalo Tara for another great massage! read more

After all the island activities we needed a great place for a massage. This place was amazing! Relaxing and much needed. Highly recommend coming here for massages! read more

Tara was great. I was lucky enough to find her driving in front of me and her information was on the rear window. She did not have any yelp reviews, but I decided to give her a try. I was busy on excursions and set it all up via email. She was very responsive and accommodating. She showed up at my hotel, set up her table and began the massage on time. (I think she usually works out of her location but I was really close and it was a holiday) I did ask for deep tissue. I had really bad kinks and knots in my shoulder/neck area. I had been contemplating going to a chiropractor when I returned home because I felt so out of wack. I know a lot of people would prefer a male for deep tissue, but she really used her arms/elbows(?) to get in there very deep and strong. She was able to get the job done. I was rather chatty and she laughed at all my jokes. LOL. She has a great demeanor and gives a great massage!! read more
