I recently paid for a "Radiesse with PRP" treatment on 11/18/2025 performed by Taylor Specht, RN. She performed the procedure with a cannula into my neck, however it was not handled in delicate manner. A lot of force was used and it not only was it painful, but it left two stretch mark scars in the area of the cannula insertion. I booked a follow up visit with this RN injector and displayed the skin damage to my neck area, as a result of her heavy hand. There was no apology, but only a suggestion as to "wait and see". I've had this same treatment numerous times over the past several years by other medical spas, with no issues or any pain. In fact, I reached out to some of regular long term practitioners, and each of them were astonished, that I had severe bruising and potential scarring from this treatment. Unfortunately, the Release of Liability that a patient is asked to sign, allows poor practitioners the ability to do something harmful to a patient, without any perceived liability or recourse, on their end. The lack of care is evident in the way that this injector handled my treatment. I would not recommend Taylor Specht, for any aesthetic procedure that involves precision, skill and a delicate approach.

However, when I drove to the clinic, I recognized the location from an encounter I had yesterday and decided to keep driving. I had parked in the lot to pick up an order at the restaurant across the street. Dr. Menezes came out and asked whether I was visiting her business. When I explained that I was going across the street, she responded sharply, "Then park across the street!" At the time, the lot was completely empty, with at least six open spaces, and there were no visible signs indicating that parking was restricted to her customers. I completely understand that business owners have the right to reserve parking for their clients, but the way the situation was handled felt unnecessarily rude and hostile. A simple explanation that the lot was for customers only would have been sufficient. Instead, the interaction left me feeling unwelcome and disrespected. If this is how she treats random people on the street, it does not inspire confidence in the level of care or professionalism patients can expect. So, I decided to try laser tattoo removal. While randomly browsing on Groupon, I came across a deal from Freedom Laser Hair & Tattoo Removal. The reviews, both on Groupon and online, were really positive, so I went ahead and bought the deal for $45 (small area). I had to pay an extra $10 groupon booking fee, but the price itself was so affordable I didn't mind. At my appointment, the technician Emily mentioned I could purchase directly from her in the future, and she'd still honor the Groupon price, which was super kind of her. If you're interested, check if the deal is still available online. The Groupon covers small, medium, and large tattoo removal areas. For my next session, I'll be booking directly through her. This was my first experience with any type of tattoo removal, and I'll admit I was a bit nervous. I'd heard it can be more painful than getting a tattoo. Emily doesn't use numbing cream, but she has a cold air machine that blows over the area while the laser works. It helped a lot, less of a shock than I expected. Since the area was small, I was in and out in about 15 minutes. In terms of pain, I'd say it felt pretty similar to getting the original tattoo. If you've had your brows tattoo and touched up, you know what I mean. (The pain isn't the best) Even after just one session, I noticed a big difference. The pigment lifted way more than I thought it would. I'll probably need one more session since I've had multiple tattoo applications over the years, but I'm already really happy with the results. Huge thank you to Emily--she was amazing! Her online system is super efficient. It sends reminders, outlines policies and procedures, and includes everything you need to know before, during, and after your appointment. She's professional, thorough, and kind. I'll definitely be recommending her to my friends and family for any laser needs, especially tattoo removal. Highly recommend!

She said that with her new recommended dosage she still didn't think it was enough and that I'd come back telling her it didn't work. She gave me way too much and how I can't move that area of my face. I'm glad I only stuck with one area otherwise there'd be 0 movement anywhere. I'd go to someone who would actually listen to you. My boyfriend was a little skeptical about having a guy be all in my business down there and even came with me to my first appointment. Not only did he pay for 6 of my sessions, my boyfriend is confident with Tony's work that he doesn't accompany to my appointments if he's tired from work. Tony is very easy to talk to and makes me feel comfortable. My visits are in, zap and out. Easy peasy! Tony is trustworthy and is very professional. I live in town and the travel to Haleiwa for my appointments are worth it. I usually set my appointments on the morning and stop by the famous bakery in Wailua before heading home. As I walked in I was greeted and taken back to get an application of numbing cream for my treatment, then Dr. Chen did the BBL laser treatment. She explained the procedure to me and told me what to expect. She is very friendly and down to earth. She recommended I come back in one month for another treatment. If you are looking for a great med spa with awesome staff and a top physician I recommend you come here for the best results! They also have plenty of reserved parking in the back.
