Was on vacation and didn't have time to get my nails done before I left home. I booked a last-minute appointment here for a pedicure with Lori. Please ask for her. You won't regret it. She does an amazing job. She really takes care to make you feet look nice. She's also very sweet and caring. Comfortable spa chairs. Clean, inviting premises. You're made to feel like you're part of the family because everyone is so friendly. They even shared their holiday cookies with me. Here's how to find them. They're on the 2nd floor of the mall. Park your car. Go into the mall and look for the double glass doors on the building furthest from the parking lot. Go up the stairs and head towards the back of the building. read more

Jamie is amazing!! I had a wonderful experience here. Jamie did my hair and makeup for my wedding. She consulted with me to ask what I was looking for, and executed it perfectly. The salon is fairly small, as expected given the location, and some bonus points that staff are so attentive. Jamie made sure I had some additional lip color and hair pins before leaving, and I'd love to book another service when I visit next. Mahalo! read more

Styles Studio Hanalei - Low bun with a braid, by Jamie - Hair Stylists Near Me - Hanalei, Hawaii

This salon is a lifesaver! I came in without an appointment and with one giant nappy dred from having my baby and then going in the ocean with it not combed out. My hair went down to my waist. I've been growing it out for 20 years. It's very special to me other places wanted to just shave my head, but Natalie and Dayna didn't give up on me. They spent nine hours straight combing out as much as they could to save some hair. They were kind and caring and actually a lot of fun while a part of my identity had to be cut off. Natalie was so patient and didn't give up. They did a great job and I actually feel beautiful and free now. They are incredible and I will be going back again for any hair hopefully nonemergencies but to be with such special ladies and just to get my hair done. read more

Jamie helped me with my hair and I loved the way it turned out. She helped me incorporate the haku lei I brought and even let me get dressed in her salon so I didn't have to run home which was really nice of her. Definitely recommend her for other brides! read more

Great place to get your Kauai Wedding License! We came on a Sunday and got our online registration officially registered and picked up the temporary license that the marriage officiant (ceremony performer) will then sign and submit to the state once the ceremony is performed. We used Frieda Gayle to perform the ceremony and she was amazing. Thanks for making it so easy! read more

Dana did my makeup for our vow renewal. She is so talented. Thank you Dana for making me feel so pretty for our special day!

Amazing owner and staff! Me an my kids were very pleased. Thank you for all you have done to make us feel welcome.

This salon is one of the very limited few in north shore Kauai. Thank goodness Bali Hai was booked up, they charge $50 for a pedicure and Styles Studio only charged $35 and they were able to take me right away. The salon can be hard to find because it's tucked away upstairs and in the back of Ching Young Village. Worth the search! The girl who helped me was so sweet and easy to chat with. They had a great selection of good brand polishes. My pedicure was excellent, the only point lost is that the nail polish must be old because I got a few noticeable bubbles on my big toes. They look great otherwise. I'd go back and ask for newest options. read more

I loved Styles Studio! It's really nice and lovely, and everyone working there is super friendly. I talked my husband into having his first pedicure here, so we had a couples pedicure. It was really great and he loved it! Our nail technicians Desiree and Lori were awesome. They know so much about the island they could be tour guides. They both recommended great local places to eat and the best beaches. Anyway, loved this salon and highly recommend it! read more

I chose Styles Studio for my wedding hair. Jamie exceeded my expectations. She went above and beyond in her role as a hair stylist. She has forever left a positive mark on me and made my wedding day even more one to remember! With this being a destination wedding, Jamie communicated with me professionally and warmly prior to meeting her for my appt. Once I met her, her kindness and skill shined brightly! She did a phenomenal job on my hair and became a friend and support person to me as the bride. Thank you Jamie!! I will always remember the amazing experience you have given me. Additionally Dayna was a wonderful person to get to know at the studio and assisted me with my wedding license. This is a wonderful full-service salon that meets all your needs. On my wedding day, I had an amazing time here. The stylists completely pampered us and made us feel beautiful and special! They are very efficient and managed to get everyone styled ahead of schedule, leaving us some time to rest and play before our photography session started. Very impressed. My wedding party and I got our hair, make-up and nail done all in the salon! Dana was my stylist for hair and make-up. She listened to every request I had and made sure they are met with care and style. Jamie and Katrina also did an amazing job on hair and make-up for my wedding party. It was a dream! Beware the "deluxe" pedicure... they'll charge you an extra $20 for a 30 second foot rub and then tack an ADDITIONAL $25 charge at the end and not explain what in the world it's for. Gel pedicure turned out nice, read more

Styles Studio Hanalei - #mermaidtoes by Marii - Hair Stylists Near Me - Hanalei, Hawaii

Went to a wedding on Kauai and we were booked here. Overall, mediocre. Hair was good, some pretty styles for the party and stylists were very nice. However, make-up was terrible and unprofessional. Caked on, no contouring or definition, dated 1980s aesthetic, poor color choices, old product that smelled bad, etc. I had to clean it all off and apply my own makeup right before the wedding, I was embarrassed to wear what they did. This isn't anywhere close to a 5 star establishment but maybe on such a small island this is as good as it gets. Overall: good for hair, terrible for make-up read more

My girlfriend was getting sick of her long hair halfway through her vacation, but it turns out every single hairdresser on the island was booked for weddings. We were getting Chicken in a Barrel for lunch (for the fourth time) and we stopped in to see if there was an opening. A client told the owner "I am gonna be sitting here reading my book for the next 40 minutes while my haircolor sets" and she was gracious enough to squeeze us in. The haircut was good enough that we are considering scheduling our next vacation around my girl's next wild hair day. Pricing was right on track for the quality, and we greatly appreciated the new easy manageability for the remainder of our visit. read more

Had husband first pedicure with Jessica today. She was AMAZING! She was professional and the facility was clean. My feet feel fabulous. She was pleasant to talk to and made my husband's first pedicure (he lost a bet) very memorable. The sugar scrub was my favorite and the color choices were abundant, they even had the new Tokyo OPI colors. Thank you Jessica. read more

Yeah, this was "fine" as a tourist to get a quick down 'n' dirty pedi, but don't go in with high expectations about quality, service or atmosphere. What I received was way overpriced, for sure. I love me some Kauai and am hoping to find a better alternative on the island that also doesn't cost an arm and a leg. read more

Jamie did wonders with my hair! I went from plain Jane long and straight, ALWAYS pulled up in a bun, to short, sassy curls. She styled the cut just right to frame my face. Worst Brazilian wax I have gotten anywhere in the United States. She almost instantly put hard wax exactly where I had asked her not to wax. Then apologized and tried to get it off, before acknowledging that the only way forward was to take off the hair I had asked her not to remove. When she said she was "done" there was still hair (what I had asked her to remove) and bits of wax everywhere. Would not recommend. read more

Cute boutique salon in Ching young village. I go there often for beautiful mani pedis with Mari. She's really amazing and my nails look beautiful. She's very methodical.
