This salon is a lifesaver! I came in without an appointment and with one giant nappy dred from having my baby and then going in the ocean with it not combed out. My hair went down to my waist. I've been growing it out for 20 years. It's very special to me other places wanted to just shave my head, but Natalie and Dayna didn't give up on me. They spent nine hours straight combing out as much as they could to save some hair. They were kind and caring and actually a lot of fun while a part of my identity had to be cut off. Natalie was so patient and didn't give up. They did a great job and I actually feel beautiful and free now. They are incredible and I will be going back again for any hair hopefully nonemergencies but to be with such special ladies and just to get my hair done. read more

This salon is one of the very limited few in north shore Kauai. Thank goodness Bali Hai was booked up, they charge $50 for a pedicure and Styles Studio only charged $35 and they were able to take me right away. The salon can be hard to find because it's tucked away upstairs and in the back of Ching Young Village. Worth the search! The girl who helped me was so sweet and easy to chat with. They had a great selection of good brand polishes. My pedicure was excellent, the only point lost is that the nail polish must be old because I got a few noticeable bubbles on my big toes. Caked on, no contouring or definition, dated 1980s aesthetic, poor color choices, old product that smelled bad, etc. I had to clean it all off and apply my own makeup right before the wedding, I was embarrassed to wear what they did. Worst Brazilian wax I have gotten anywhere in the United States. She almost instantly put hard wax exactly where I had asked her not to wax. Then apologized and tried to get it off, before acknowledging that the only way forward was to take off the hair I had asked her not to remove.
