This place sucks. These 2 young girls did me and my nieces nails they were both really nice at first. I tipped them more than I should have because they double charged me on 2 different credit cards. I noticed it a day after on my credit card apps and even talked to my banks. I went to go in to tell the girls about the double charge and they played dumb and said only 1 card got charged even when I showed them the 2 screen shots of my charges. I hope they shut down and I'll be never be going there ever again. read more

I called eight different places in Lihue and Kapaa to get pedicures and none of them answered. Kauai Nail Spa was the first to answer. I asked to make appointments for 6 pedicures whenever they had availability. They said 10:00 for the next morning and I said great. I show up with my group and the ladies looked like deer in the headlights. They said they had no record of us calling. I checked my phone call history and theirs was the last number I called, so I'm not sure what happened there. They were very kind and said they would still do our nails. They were efficient and got all of our pedicures done within an hour and a half without skimping on quality. I think we will go back when we visit Kauai again. read more

Both the girls looked displeased and I got the impression they didn't want to be bothered! I said, if you are too busy (even tho no other customers were in the shop) I can go somewhere else. I found that this place was open on a Sunday, which was the day of my wedding. I went in for a French manicure & a regular pedicure. The pedicure was blah. I got the cheapest pedi they offered & was over in 30 minutes. The lady was very nice, but the polish on a couple of my toes didn't cover all of the nail. I didn't notice it until I was back at the hotel. The manicure was also rushed. For the price, I expected more. I spent $55 for just a little over an hour, plus $10 for a tip. Fast forward 3 days & the polish was already chipping & the polish completely peeled off one nail. Plus, my cuticles are peeling back from where she cut them! I will add that the nail salon was filthy. If I had known that in advance, I would have never gone. It's pretty easy to clean the floor & wipe counters down. It clearly had not been done in a long time. As another post said....take some pride in your business. read more

I can't give any stars. I arrived for my appointment and after a few awkward minutes I said I'm here for my pedicure,she groaned and with a hostile look she said,go back to front. So I sat down and waited, I told her my mom is in hospice and dying so I really need to relax. She ignored me and continued to have a conversation with the other worker, I asked her politely if she could not talk,I was listening to slack key guitar very softly, I closed my eyes but when her co worker walked in she spoke in a very loud voice, obviously about me asking her if we could please work in silence,then a man walked in and she began talking loudly to him. So I said I can't stay,I'm not relaxing because she was being so passive aggressive and scowling at me. I said don't charge me full price,she tricked me and charged me full price,I never got the massage or polish. Then I said soften your heart, I'm grieving and she said, maybe you shouldn't come in here when you're sad. Then she ran out and took a picture of me leaving. It was a girls trip in which we came across this place in Kapa'a. It's near the corner of the shopping area so it was quite hard to find. There was four of us that walked in and wanted to do pedicures, simple ones. We each got something different as far as package options, and each a different technician. I wanted gel nail polish as I know it lasts longer. I already had gel nail polish on my toes so I took longer than the others. I was watching my technician closely as I always do, and to be honest, my nail cuttings were crooked. That wasn't impressive. The other girls experienced the same thing, crooked nail cuttings. Even though two of us got the same package, we each received different treatments, I got a hot towel and she didn't. The service was not that great at all, no smiles or sincerity. I'm hoping the way she did the gel nail polish is correct as she didn't layer it as other services I had received in the past. It still look shiny after 3 days. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. I think the hotel spa places are your best bet, but then again Kauai is only so small. Ask the locals where to go. read more

Great service and the workers were very kind to me and my mom. My nails came out so pretty, just the way I wanted them. Only downfall that I didn't find out til later was that top gel coat they put on my acrylics wasn't a hard setting one. It could literally be peeled off, but this was an easy fix. A simple redo on the top coat with a hardening polish was all it took. read more
