Amazing service. Honest, Prompt and Professional. Alex was able to get out to us on really short notice. He completed a sewer scope for us on our first home that we are buying. What you'll receive a detailed report and a narrated video of the sewer scope. This makes it very helpful in understanding what you are seeing and what to expect in the future. Great service I would recommend a sewer scope to all home buyers and I would recommend going with Lighthouse Sewer Inspection. Do not overlook this inspection even on a new construction. It could be costly in the future for you if sewer line issues are not identified prior to the purchase of a home. If you do find sewer issues leave the cost to the seller to cover. Because, the repairs are very pricey. read more

We've used Alex twice now! First when we bought our home, and now that we're selling it. Couldn't ask for friendlier, prompt, and professional service. Alex is the best! read more

Alex really went far above and beyond the call of duty on my sewer scope. It was a relatively straight forward job, but he was still at the property for almost as long as the home inspector who I paid 3x as much. The inspector and my agent were shocked and commented that "most of these sewer scope guys are in and out in 30 minutes." It took so long because he worked hard to get the best image possible and locate and analyze even even minor issues in the line. He went over the entire video in detail with me and provided a narrated youtube video. It was really unbelievable how much dedication this guy had to his craft. I wish I could give another star. read more

I have used Lighthouse Sewer to scope the sewer lines for my clients and every time Alex has been professional and helpful. He comes in, gets the work done, and you wouldn't know he had been there except for the written report and, gasp, Youtube video of your sewer line. Yes, something to share with all of your friends. (But only if you want to, they need the code to know which one is yours.) I use Lighthouse Sewer Inspection because Alex is competent, honest, and downright likable. read more

Alex did an inspection of our 100 year old side sewer, and boy are we glad he did. His inspection found a break in the line that had not yet caused a blockage, and we were able to have it repaired on our own schedule, rather than having to pay for emergency repairs (and avoiding a flooded basement). Alex has brand new equipment and was able to map out the route of our sewer line and give us a video of the inspection. This information allowed us to have multiple contractors bid on the repairs, which helped us find the best price available. Alex is professional and courteous. He respected my home and ran a very clean operation. I would recommend his service to anyone with an older sewer system. Advanced knowledge of problems helped us plan and get the repairs done on our schedule, saving us thousands. read more

I highly recommend Lighthouse and echo all the other great reviews on here. We had Alex/Lighthouse come out to scope a sewer line for a pre-inspection on a house we were putting an offer on. We got about half way through the inspection when we hit a block and couldn't scope the rest of the way. He marked the area of the blockage with spray paint and suggested we deroot/clear the blockage and to get it inspected again when cleared. We were lucky enough to have the seller clear the line but they wouldn't reinspect it for us. Alex came back to do another inspection free of charge. Alex is professional, knowledgeable, honest and keeps a clear work space. He uses the latest technology/equipment to do the inspection as well. read more

We have an older home (like many other Seattle city homes), built in 1929. After having 2 neighbors within 1-2 blocks of our house have their basements flood from waste water, we decided to hire an expert before any damage occurred. Lighthouse Sewer Inspection is that professional. They are thorough (high definition digital camera/scope takes clear video), considerate (answered my son's questions while he worked), and informative (the detailed written report is extremely valuable). I would recommend Lighthouse Sewer Inspection to any current or prospective home owners. It takes the guesswork out of what's underground; for us, the piece of mind is invaluable. read more

Alex was thorough and very informative. On the initial inspection date there were two many roots to penetrate and he was nice enough to not charge me for the visit until after I got a rooter in to clean it out. After his second attempt he compiled a very thorough accounting of the sewer line, and walked me through every tiny defect, telling me what kind of cost could be associated with a repair, as well as what the likely hood of long term damage was. He left me with a flash drive containing a narrated video of him explaining everything should I ever need to go through it again. read more

Reasonable pricing. We were able to get a same day appointment which was great! Alex was very thorough with his inspection of the sewer line. After the inspection we were given a drive with video of inspection along with thorough write up. Would definitely recommend them to anyone in need of getting sewer line inspected and would use their service again in the future if needed. read more

Used light house sewer. Very professional and price is reasonable.

Alex is one of the most professional, hard working, & brilliant vendors I have the pleasure of working with in the real estate industry. I refer all my clients to him because his equipment is state-of-the-art, he goes above and beyond {every time}, and I know they are in good hands with him. He has a lot of integrity and it shines in his work and presentation. Alex has saved my home buyers tens of thousands of dollars in sewer line repairs over the past couple of years. Truly grateful. First time I have used Lighthouse and I'm very happy with service I received 1) I needed a sewer inspection done within two days, and I got a slot for the next day. Scheduling was easy. 2) I was going to be 30 mins late, but Alex stayed and waited for me. did not charge me for extra time he had to wait. 3) Very fast service. Alex move very fast but without checking out list of items he needed to go through first. 4) Alex was very cordial, professional and well-mannered. I enjoyed interacting with him, and even threw a few jokes around. 5) His rate is comparable to others for $220 you get the same if not better service from him than others. 6) I asked him if he can mark where an intersection in sewer line was to possible where I can access it; and he did; with spray paint and a wooden stake. Other inspection companies probably would not have done that. they only mark if there's damage. 7) I appreciate his camera equipment. he uses advance camera equipment for his work. 8) He posts a video of inspection in YouTube for my future use and reference. thanks, derrick read more

We were so pleased with our sewer inspection. Alex was able to meet us the day we called and was personable and professional throughout the process. He did a great job explaining what he saw and was very clean in his work. The cost seemed reasonable and we appreciated the detailed video and paperwork he left us. Overall, we couldn't have been happier with Lighthouse Sewer Inspection and Alex's work. read more

Alex was wonderful to work with. We asked him to do a sewer inspection with very short notice, and he was able to accommodate next business day. Though we were unable to attend the inspection, our realtor let us know that he very thorough. Once Alex finished inspecting the sewers he promptly called me and explained what he saw and the different possibilities, and also gave sound advice on what our options were. If we need another inspection, we will absolutely call Alex again. read more

AMAZING! We booked Alex to do a sewer inspection on a house we just bought. Alex was on time (actually, I think he was early), got set up and went straight to work. He let me ask questions as the camera was going down the sewer and explained everything wonderfully. We ran into an issue with a storm drain about halfway down the line and he had to pull the camera out and start over through another access point (toilet). I knew it wouldn't cost more to go through the toilet because his website clearly states that there is no extra charge for toilet access. Most other companies charge an extra fee for this. Alex gathered up all his stuff and moved upstairs to the bathroom without complaint. He even put down a drop cloth on the carpet. After Alex was done, he reviewed the camera footage with us, gave us the video (with commentary) on a flash drive and a short write up. He gave us suggestions on things we could do now to help the minor issues he saw. Alex probably spent an hour or more with us and helped us feel confident about moving forward with the house. We had used a different service during a pre-inpsection on another house and that person spent 20 minutes with us, charged a fee to go through the toilet and cost about $60 more than Lighthouse. Alex is super chill, very patient, and awesome at his job. Thank you, Alex!!! read more
