I would absolutely recommend Sound Home Advisers. Jesse was very thorough in his inspection and seemed happy to answer my plentiful first-time-home-buyer questions. He even offered suggestions on what to look for when hiring someone for repairs and info on what reasonable prices would be for them. I also received my report the same day as the inspection! If/when the time comes for me to hire another inspector, I'll be using Sound Home Advisers again :) read more

Super friendly, fast availability for appointment, complete report and got it the next day. Very happy with the service. Thank you!

Jesse brings another level of attention to detail with his work. He is extremely thorough and catches things that others did/will miss. He also invests in his business using thermal imaging to verify building envelope integrity and check for leaks in plumbing. He answered all of my questions and is very patient with his clients, which is great. Bring him onto your project, and you will not be disappointed - you'll know what you're getting after his work 100%. Jesse offers absolute fair value for the level of detail and peace of mind he provides. read more

Great experience for a whole house inspection . Jesse was on time, very thorough, and answered all our questions along the way. Really helped us understand what needs to be fixed in our house and alleviated some of our concerns. read more

I reached out to Sound Home Advisors for a post construction home inspection. They were so quick to respond and extremely professional. They took to time to listen to our concerns and took them under advisement. They even went as far as researching installation of a tub that didn't seem to be installed properly and referenced the step that was missed in the installation. Outside of that, they were quick to come out and return the report. I will definitely be using them again. Thank you so much! read more

Thorough and knowledgeable for sure. But $100 more than other inspections I've ordered recently.

I have used sound home advisors twice for my new home inspection and 11 month warranty inspection and have been extremely satisfied and would highly recommend them. Jesse is very detailed and precise and explains everything patiently and is thorough. Jesse is also very honest and reliable. He even recommended to drop a couple of additional services I had chosen, stating that they are not needed. I was very impressed by that and it was like the cherry on top. I would highly recommend them for your home inspection needs. read more

Jesse did a thorough and helpful inspection of a new construction home for us. He found things we definitely would never have spotted (especially on the roof!), and he included helpful pictures (and videos) of key components throughout the home that we can refer to, like if we need to look up what model of condensing unit we have (pics of the manufacture plates were included), or remember where to shut off the gas for the appliances. It is great to start out in a new home with these things as a reference! Jesse provided a few quick follow-up tips when we asked questions and was all-around spectacular. read more

I sent the following email on 10/7/2020 and have received NO follow up from Sound Home Advisers. They are TERRIBLE. They do not hold themselves accountable for faulty inspections and did not do their due diligence. USE ANOTHER COMPANY. We have spent thousands of dollars in our first weeks in our new home due to their subpar inspection. --- We are reaching out regarding an inspection completed by Jesse Longman License #65538. We have had a HUGE number of surprises that have been quite costly within the electrical department, but the reason I am writing today is regarding clearly visible exposed electrical wiring in the home's garage. Not only is the wiring exposed, but a short exists on the exposed wire outlet. If one would have tested any of the outdoor lights then this would have been evident as the lights did not work (and have never worked). I am writing to begin this discussion with Sound Home Advisors as to why this exposed electrical (unsafe) wiring was not included within our report? We will be having this safety hazard resolved ASAP, but are quite concerned that Sound Home Advisers' inspector did not bring this to our attention (and we have had a baby sleeping directly above these hazardous wires for almost a month!!!!). Please respond at your earliest convenient while we determine the appropriate next steps required. ---- Update - my email contains the address for the inspection that was completed and my contact information. That comment is completely for public eye not for fixing wrongdoing. Please return my calls or call via the information provided via email. read more

I've referred Jesse to my buyer clients for 15+ years. He's my go to because he's extremely thorough and worth every penny. He goes the extra mile explaining everything very clearly to both me and to my clients. He's even visited a local city's building department to confirm a code violation related to a newly constructed home and he was right and the issue was quickly resolved. His reports include narrated videos to help explain an issue and reports are clear and well written. read more

Fantastic service!! Setting up the appointment was easy through their website. I called SHA to get an inspection done in a new construction. Jesse demonstrated a lot of experience and he was able to find multiple things to be addressed by the builder ; nothing was missed and his attention to detail is remarkable. We also had a great conversation during the inspection and he took the time to explain the different findings and suggestions. I strongly recommend Jesse and Sound Home Advisers! read more

Chris was great to work with. Very thorough and detailed in his inspection- would highly recommend

Jesse just completed the fourth home inspection he has done for us. We keep coming back to Sound Home Advisors for their superior quality, extremely detailed report and fantastic customer service (1 home purchase, 1 pre-inspection, 1 home we backed out of due to the awesome report details and 1 we are currently under contract on). We appreciate having honest companies like this in our community and we are thankful for the prompt turnaround time. Really great company all around. Thank you Tiffany & Jesse! No callback no response, their office said the owners were on vacation and they'd get back to me when they returned that following week. So I waited as I was referred by a family member who was happy with their service. I needed them for my properties in Lakeridge and Lake Stevens. I would of appreciated atleast a follow up saying they were too busy or whatever, so I didn't waste my time on waiting for an empty response ‍ read more

Jesse was wonderful! He was so thorough and wrote down/video taped all issues so we were well informed about the condition of the home. He gave us suggestions on how we might fix things. I felt I could trust him and his evaluation. He made this stressful process much better. When I left the home I knew what I was dealing with and how I wanted to proceed. I would highly recommend Jesse! read more

Jesse and Terry were fantastic! They completed a pre inspection for us and they were professional, knowledgeable, helpful and all around amazing! We received our report a few hours later and they walked us through the home and showed us a few things as well. Very thankful! Would definitely use their service again. Thank you guys! read more

I highly recommend this company. Terry and Chris were very professional and knowledgable. They were also very thorough with their explanations and report. Jesse was knowledgeable, thorough and personable. We could not ask for better.

Absolutely loved the service. Very clearly pointed and explained about each and every repair with pictures and videos on what is expected and what needs to be done exactly as a first time home buyer it was very useful and easy to understand. They quoted little higher than others in the market but the way Jesse spoke with great passion helped us understand his way of work and his work was just like he promised. 100% would recommend them. read more

We have an amazing experience with Sound Home Advisers! There were able to come out quickly to inspect a new home purchase for us. They were incredibly thorough, found things that a previous inspector had missed, and all of their reports are digital with photos and videos. It was an amazing experience from start to finish! Very detailed inspection report and thorough walkthrough of all issues with the house.

Awesome job by Chris from Sound Home Advisors. Very professional and courteous through the entire process. Would definitely recommend them for home inspections! read more

I had a fantastic experience with Sound Home Advisers and highly recommend them. Scheduling was easy via their website, followed by a few texts with Chris, my inspector, who had a few follow-up questions for me (which I appreciated). Chris was on time, efficient, professional, and very friendly. I know very little about homes and he made everything very understandable - answering all questions I had as we walked through together afterwards. He also wasn't kidding when he said he'd have the report to me later that day - impressive! The report was easy to understand (with pictures), and easy to forward along to my builder so he can address the issues. Thanks Chris! read more

They saved us thousands of dollars. They found water damage and mold in the crawl space that would have been a nightmare to deal with. Grateful for the details they brought to the table. Problems with windows, crawl space, and the heater are some of the large ticket items they found. We will use them again. Thanks guys. B & K Skoog read more

My wife and I found Jesse of Sound Home Advisors extremely thorough, detailed, communicative and professional throughout the entire inspection process. Jesse helped with our home inspection today. He was incredibly thorough and took the time to explain what he was looking for and asked if we had any specific areas of concern we had on the house. I enjoyed my experience working with Jesse and highly recommend his service. read more

We've used Jesse for home inspections three times now. The first time, he helped identify risks in a home purchase that we eventually walked away from. The second was an inspection of the home we purchased in 2011, and most recently a reinspection of that home to alleviate concerns about settling and possible water damage. Over the years we've come to trust Jesse, and expect we'll do so again in the future. read more

Used Jesse for 2 home purchases now. Always very thorough and easy to work with. I'd highly recommend him and his team.

Jesse has written up several excellent inspections for me, well worded and accurate. This year, however, the inspection was done by Terry; and it was the worst I've ever experienced. I had the inspection done as a courtesy for potential buyers, and it came across as a very hostile and inaccurate inspection. For example, he wrote that the garbage disposal was old and should be replaced. It had been replaced three months previously! He wrote that seals on windows were broken, implying this occurred in several places. Only the garage window had a broken seal; all others were recently replaced high quality windows. Every time there was a fault in one area, the report implied that the fault was throughout the house. Also, we were packing to move and had boxes and junk all over. He took photos of the mess and included them in his report. I will never hire Terry again and do not recommend him at all. read more
