This is one of my favorite pizza places in Omaha. They have unique signature pizza options. Tonight we got half El Classico and half Sparky. The pizza was packed with flavor and savory goodness. We also got the dough boys- super cheesy and soft garlic bread with marinara sauce as a dipping sauce. There's two locations in Omaha- capitol district and 74th and Pacific! Finally made it over to this place, and glad I did. This place has some awesome specialty pies (highly recommend "the sparky"), and a great dipping sauce that comes with their pizzas. The pies are doughy on the inside, with a crisp bit of charring on the outside...just perfect. Order by the slice (huge 9" slices), or entire pizza (18"). Currently, the dining room is closed for...reasons. However, you can order over the phone and pick it up at the drive-thru, or call for curbside. I recommend the curbside. It took me almost 10 minutes waiting for someone in front of me at the drive-thru while my pizza was already done (I forgot my phone). Not the cheapest pizza, but you pay for quality. I would like to try some of their non-pizza offerings next time, and also avoid the drive-thru. Overall, really solid pizza. read more

Great take out experience here. Ordered online and even with a few customizations my pizza was made correctly and quickly! It was ready in about 15 minutes and while you can pick up in the drive through I don't recommend because you're waiting for cars ahead of your order. I went in and picked it up. The pizza was fantastic and just what I was craving. I also ordered dough boys and they were dense and moist. I ordered garlic fries but they were a bit soggy and I'm going to toss it up to my being later for pick up but maybe dining in they'd be better. Pizza is SO GOOD! I like pizza and I like to customize. This place does both. Garlic knots are super yummy too. Also, for some reason the rootbeer from the fountain here is top tier, I kid you not. I am not a fan of the "special sauce" that comes as a side to everything, but luckily it's not incorporated into anything. Honestly, I love going here and would go way more often if it were closer. Service is good but fairly unremarkable. And the decor is warm, welcoming, and inviting without being over the top. Definitely stop by here if you're in the area. read more

Traveled to Omaha on a family road trip and ended up stopping here for dinner. Best pizza I've had in a long time and the fries were amazing as well! I ordered the chicken bbq slice and the truffle fries. Besides being one of the biggest slices of pizza I've ever had, everything about it was delicious. Everyone I was with also really enjoyed their food with the expedition of the lighthouse sauce. I was really excited to try this place, and the order and drive-thru process made it quick and easy to get my order! Unfortunately, it wasn't quite what I expected. Maybe it's because we took the pizza to go, but I was not very impressed with the crust and the overall flavor. The crust was pretty crunchy and dry, which really detracted from the overall taste. Again, it could have been that the pizza cooled off more quickly than expected. One thing I really enjoyed was the Lighthouse sauce - it made the pizza taste better! Waited 30+ minutes in the drive-thru. I'm glad that I had them read back my order before I paid because they got it incorrect. Plus the guy who helped me acted like I hadn't even said the things that were missing. Plus, when I got my order, the extra sauces I ordered were not in the order. The lady only gave me one when I paid for two extra. I had to park and go in to get the last sauce. The same gentleman at the counter was again condescending. I used to be a huge fan of this place, recommending it to everyone, but I no longer feel it's worth going out of my way for or worth telling people about. It's become more of a "meh, nothing special" kind of pizza place. The pizza crust is much drier than I remember it being...they give you a sauce to dip the crust in, and believe me, you'll need it! I used most of the sauce even though I didn't care for it, because I probably wouldn't have been able to swallow the crust without choking. The toppings are placed on top of the cheese so every bite causes them to fall all over the plate, your clothing, the table, and the floor. They are a good value, as you receive an absolute unit of a slice, so you'll enjoy this place for the sheer volume of food if you're a big eater who prefers quantity over quality. But be careful, because the slice overhangs the plate and when my server set it down, the pizza touched the table. Knowing how most restaurants use the same filthy bucket of water all day long to clean their tables, that horrified me to the point that I tore the offending pieces off and threw them away. More than likely this was my last visit. Sad, but they definitely aren't like they used to be. Lighthouse is a great pizza spot in Omaha! Popular amongst the local college students, Lighthouse is open until 3am on Friday and Saturday. The slices are made to order and are 9 inches! I love the simple "spinach and garlic" and the "Ed & Sal" which has bacon, parmesan fries, and lighthouse sauce on it. All of their pizzas are on a delicious, thin, chewy, crust and are soooo drool worthy. The Lighthouse sauce is also a staple, but just a heads up, extra will cost ya extra! Despite you thinking drive thru pizza will take forever, Lighthouse is speedy when it comes to their late night drive thru! Great place, definitely give it a try! read more

We stopped in here today after failing to find another well-respected and highly reviewed Yelp location - it was an Italian place with a bakery included and the GPS was simply unable to find. But lo and behold, we see the sign to this place and decided to give it a shot. I have to admit, I was very disappointed we didn't end up at our first choice and walked in to this location in a bad mood. I had already decided I wasn't going to like the place and to be fair I wasn't going to review it, but that all changed when I saw what was being served and how delicious it smelled. This was another, what I coin, as a hipster pizza place - though it was more family-friendly and inviting. The choices are simple - a 9-inch piece of pizza made with any five toppings of your choice (to choose from) or a whole pizza or fries (again to your liking.) Each of us chose the 9-inchers, made to each of our likings and no one walked away unhappy. Whether the pizza was made with spinach and chorizo, or sour cream crumbles and pepperoni, or bacon and loads of cheese, it was all really, really good. They also provide a slightly sweet, reminiscent-to-a-pimento-spread dipping sauce you can use to finish off your crust or spread it over your pizza, either way works. The staff was friendly enough, but super efficient. I was surprised at how quickly they cleaned up after patrons have left, not only cleaning up the table, but sweeping the floor as well. Our food came out not too long after, we were all amazed by the size of the slice. We all ordered 9 inch slice and I was barely finished it. After having a bad experience at the downtown location I was a little iffy about trying this location. I'm so happy I did! The atmosphere at this location is much more cozy, more comfortable. The staff was SO friendly. Most importantly the food came out fresh and hot. I love the style of crust, and the price for the size you get is awesome. The fries are amazing, so crispy and hot. The real winner is the lighthouse sauce. It's garlicky and rich and so yummy. The sauce is served with both the pizza and the fries. Lighthouse is easily my favorite pizza in the city next to Nolis. I love the huge portions... each slice is really 2. The dough is super yummy... this time it hadn't been cooked the whole way through but this is the only time it had happened. Their pizza sauce is like crack, I could put it on a shoe and demolish it. Not one person complains in my family when we say we are getting lighthouse. Because the ingredients are fresh, you get full eating even a single slice. I feel like eating Pizza Hut or Dominoes isn't filling and I can eat and eat and not be full. Their gravy fries are great to share. Would love to see some additional sides here besides salad... maybe some veggies or other appetizers for variety. But Lighthouse is much more than pizza: their gourmet fries are AbsoLUTEly something to shout about. Just the perfect tenderness yet crispiness with anything you can imagine heaped on top. My Bestie and I will often share a slice and an order of fries and we are stuffed. I live in the neighborhood, which is very dangerous. Nearly every evening I see the cars lined up-- break lights shining--waiting to bring home deliciousness. Actually, I think you should be sainted if you can actually get your food home without already getting into it. I can't imagine someone with that much willpower! Stay away!! The pizza is actually pretty good, but they rarely make it correctly because the employees are too busy watching their phones and not paying attention to the order. If you ask them to fix it, the manager will simply inform you that they try to honor requests, like putting Canadian bacon under the cheese where it is supposed to be, but they can't always accommodate certain requests. Lighthouse came recommended by some colleagues, so when I forgot to eat all day (as is typical for me), it came to mind. There are some pretty creative pizza combinations. I typically go for a "combination" or "supreme" topping style. I was in the mood for something a little unfamiliar, so I ordered spicy chicken, pepperoni, bell peppers, onions, and mushrooms, with marinara sauce. The pizza was pretty good! I only wish the sauce had been a little more evenly distributed and the crust had a little more chewiness to it. But overall, I'd say that lighthouse has some solid pizza options. The spicy chicken was the biggest surprise. It was definitely spicier than I was expecting for a Midwestern pizza. There's enough red pepper flakes in the chicken seasoning that I didn't feel compelled to add red pepper to the pizza. Normally, I add about 2-3 packets of red pepper flakes to a large pizza- I like the heat! So if you feel similarly about spice, give the spicy chicken a try. read more

Bottled beers were $3.25, pizza slices were $5.25 and tiger fries were $4.99. All in, we were sitting at about $25 with tax. Bill says, "I never met a pizza I didn't like." But I say... this pizza wasn't that great. I'm a hardcore carb-aholic, but this crust wasn't exciting me. If I'm leaving that behind, the odds of a stellar review aren't good. This trip, being our first, I asked for a recommendation on pizza, and since their slices are touted as being so huge, I only got one. Mine was BBQ Chicken with "bacon, onions and BBQ sauce". The sauce was most prevalent, and a bit overly sweet. Chicken, onions and bacon were in bits - see picture. And the sauce was really all I could taste. Bill had the classic combo of pepperoni, sausage and mushroom. I tried a bite and while it was better, I'd still maybe only be at a 3-star. And the fries... A 'pile of cheesy-buffalo flavor' is how I'd best describe it. Not exceptionally intriguing. And why are they called "Tiger" I wonder? Because it was double punch Thursday and we almost filled up a whole card, I think we'll try one more time - utilizing the drive through option. Lighthouse has great pizza and fries. One of my favorite all time pizzas and the in-store service is pretty good. However, here is the problem. They won't answer the phone when you try to call in a pickup order. Also, you can't order online unless you want to use Uber Eats. On three occasions, we have called over and over again, but no answer. I recently checked out Lighthouse Pizza for the first time after having it on my yelp bookmarks for a really, really long time. It was a weekend day and the atmosphere was casual but it felt like a step up from your average sports bar, which I appreciate. It took me a minute to get oriented to the choices you have to make (crust type, sauce type, toppings) if you aren't ordering one of their classic slices, but the staff was very patient and answered all my questions. My dining buddy and I each got a slice of pizza and then decided to split the parmesan garlic fries. The fries came out first and were good, but nothing to write home about. I wasn't a huge fan of the lighthouse sauce, so was glad that I didn't chose it for my pizza! The flavorings were quite good...the parmesan was fresh and the garlic flavor was definitely prominent enough for me, but the fries themselves felt a little under-done - too soft and mushy for me. and then...the pizza. Holy crap. I didn't really understand what a 9" pizza slice would be, so for those in the same boat... this is basically the equivalent of a personal pan pizza of yore, maybe even a little larger. I got chorizo, pepperoni, spinach, tomatoes, and olives. The meats were very tasty and the slice was actually really well built. There's no way you can really eat the whole thing by hand unless you fold it in half, but the mess is well worth it and the price is great ($6 for a make your own slice!). Arguably one of the best Thai Chicken pizza pie I've ever had! It was just the right mixture of sweetness and that great flavor of thai peanut sauce. There's a ton of different varieties of Thai type pizzas out there, but this had definitely hit the sweet spot for my taste. We also ordered a slice of Mac & Cheese and another custom (Philly Style) pie; as well as the Garlic Parmesan fries. All were deliciously good. Honestly, loved this place. The Macaroni Pizza is bomb! But, i recently ordered their Dough Boys (garlic knots) for takeout, and was extremely unimpressed. The Knots were legit raw in the middle. At first I thought it was a melted cheese filling, but later found out that is was straight up raw dough. YUCK! For a fast casual place that lives and dies by the lunch crowd, this won't fly. They also serve fake iced tea from a fountain disguised as a fake tea urn, while calling it "brewed" (which may be *technically* true, but it wasn't brewed in-store, but rather at a Pepsi factory hundreds of miles away.) This joint needs to up its drink game, big time. The pizza itself is tasty, although for a newcomer, the sizing is poorly communicated. It's listed as a "9-inch slice", which is largely meaningless as none of the dimensions are actually anywhere close to 9 inches, nor does it come from a 9" pizza. It's best described as a 90-degree sector of a roughly 20-24" pie. But it's nothing anywhere close the NY pizza experience many here seem to be raving about. But this is Omaha. The service was slow and they didn't have slices prepared. They say expect a 25 min wait for a full pie....had we known that we would have tried calling ahead or gone somewhere else.
