This was the only place open before 11am at La Isla (the mall). We stopped in to have a beer and watch the water. They have a beautiful view, attentive staff and great decor. My only complaint- it was $13 US dollars for two Michelin Ultras before the tip. They had been $6 for two beers everywhere else. I want to come back here for a sunset, it had a great review of the lagoon.

We were delighted to find this place for lunch walking distance from our resort. A nice lady that was trying to attract customers gave us a coupon for a free guacamole appetizer or margarita. Since I was with the fam we opted for the guacamole which of course made fresh and was very generous. The margaritas were large, refreshing, and lifted our spirits. The food was very savory and satisfying. I really liked the cream of lobster soup served in a bread bowl. We enjoyed a great view of the lagoon and the mainland. The servers didn't speak English so I appreciated the opportunity to practice Spanish and they graciously corrected my errors. Highly recommend!

When we were in Cancun, my mom wanted seafood so we went to this place that I consider a tourist location. I typically like to visit holding the walls because these prices are more on the tourist side. But we enjoyed nonetheless the food my mom was really happy with the service and the taste of the food quantity. It's nice to sit at the seaside and see the boats coming in and out.

We were wandering around La Isla mall and Lighthouse Marina just stood out of the rest. The restaurant is conveniently located right at the boat dock and right there you can enjoy the beautiful sunset while enjoying your meals. We had the pina colada and strawberry margarita which were amazing. Shrimp in garlic sauce was yummy as well. the buttery shrimp was marinated and seasoned to perfection. We do recommend this restaurant if you're in the area.

Dinner pic before bill arrived. Five days later and we are still frustrated.

400 dollars Switch up in pricing. Do not go. We were in complete shock when the bill came. We live in an exclusive area and are accustomed to paying for nice experience. This was our first meal upon arriving exhausted. We all chose carefully yet when bill came, price was far more than menu stated. Alcohol was so overpriced additionally. Avoid avoid. Ouch. We paid cash or u would be contacting them bc I believe they were dishonest.

One of the best ceviches I've had, but I've only had a few in my life. Very tasty though. Got a few items cause i was hungry... enjoyed the red snapper fish, fried, (pay by gram), was really tasty especially the garlic butter sauce i dipped it in. Great service! The only thing that I was caught off guard was the tip that was already included... they run my Visa card and then my waiter didn't let me know till after probably because her lack of English speaking skills. I wanted to leave a good tip, but they took the responsibility of doing for me. Overall, I would come back, Enjoy!

We were looking for a place to have some good seafood and walked by here. We had the large size oysters and the calamari! It did not disappoint, their drinks were excellent which was a definite plus. Definitely recommend this place.

Great atmosphere at the pier with view of the water. There was a saxophone musician playing to the music. We got small complimentary margaritas for a table of six. Seafood was fresh. There was a great photographer taking pictures for their customers wearing sombreros. We kindly decline and she did not push or try to sell , which i appreciated. Food was flavorful. A little salty for my liking. Menu was simple and mostly seafoods with some American dishes(pasta and hamburgers)

Overall 4 Stars food was GREAT and prices were awesome in USD. For 6 of us we spent $117. Drinks weren't the best as my frozen Margarita was watery (hence the 4 stars). The ambience is awesome as well, as it sits right on the marina. Augusto our waiter was real cool also. Great experience definitely a great place for dinner or lunch.

Veggies fajitas. Zero flavor.

They automatically add 20% tip. Very overpriced. Charged $5 US for 2 tablespoons of cheese. Food was fine. Plus they wouldn't serve us breakfast @11am even though the sigh clearly says serving breakfast til 12:30pm. Tried to upsell everything.

Amazing FRESH oysters on the half shell! Great atmosphere & evening entertainment - saxophone player the night we dined there.

Omelets and chilaquiles - not a bad way to start the morning.

Mediocre meal that was overpriced. The restaraunt seemed unclean and there was zero ambiance. Stay away!

The most amazing restaurant in La Isla! I'm sad I found so late during trip. It would have been my daily lunch.

It's huge, as far as presentation it's not very fancy, it was tasty but as large as it was you'd think it had more alcohol to offset the size. But it did not. My wife ordered the aguachile with octopus. I ordered the Tuna Burger, and we got the steak quesadillas as an appetizer. My wife said she would give her aguachile a 3.8 out of 5. I thought the tuna burger was very tasty. Basically they took a tuna steak and put it between a hamburger bun. I can't really compare it to a regular meat burger. But on a scale of 1-10 I'd give it a 7. It came only with lettuce and tomato, but it had flavor enough. The quesadilla's were good, but nothing special, I'd say they were comparable to any you get at an average Mexican restaurant in the states. We came here because of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong things to try, I thought everything was good, but nothing that was so good it made me want to hurry back.

The menu is simple with just enough options to where everyone can find something they like. I had the skirt steak tacos and my friend got fish tacos, We also ordered a frozen margarita and mojito that were huge!!!!! The prices were fair for what you get and the atmosphere is casual and comfortable. The music is not too loud so you can have a conversation with your group. They are not pushy to get you in and out like other places. Will definitely be back

5 stars for a lovely meal and festive environment out in Cancun. Mextreme serves breakfast lunch…read moreand dinner and there is a large bar. We had been walking in the area earlier that day and made a plan to come back for dinner. When we arrived there were a lot of people but we were seated immediately. Martin was our waiter and he was great. There were a few large screen TVs playing sports. There was live music. A lot was going on but it really worked. People were enjoying themselves and the wait staff was friendly and talkative. I ordered shrimp fajitas and my husband ordered the mole. He always orders mole. The meals were very good. We ordered a mango margarita and Tecate. The margarita came with a tehine rim. I just wiped it off. That is becoming so popular. I decided to indulge in the banana dessert and I am glad I did. It came with a show. That was fun and the dessert was delicious. We were there earlier in the evening and we saw many couples and families. I'm sure the place gets a little more livelier as the night goes on. If you are in the area, this is a good place to eat and enjoy your time in Cancun.

I've been coming to Cancun 35 years. How did I miss Mextreme??? Such a FUN and affordable venue!…read more Sitting outside, there is literally entertainment everywhere you look. The wait staff forms a conga line to deliver a margarita, carried atop a sombrero! The play tunes and dance around inviting diners to join them. Service is attentive & excellent! The menu has 90% Mexican specialities, but also has pasta, burgers and vegetarian. I was there with friends who had quesadillas & I had chicken enchiladas. Everything was good & portions were big. I just drank water, so cannot comment on the drinks. I had the flan for dessert, which was generous in size & ok. One of my friends had the flaming bananas & said it was so yummy! Everything is surprisingly (for Cancun) priced affordable. My enchiladas were about $12. I would happily return here! So much fun!
