The coffee wasn't good, I got an iced dark chocolate latte and the coffee just genuinely isn't flavorful or appealing. I got one of each of their HIGHLY over priced macarons (3$ a pop, they were very small) and they had no flavor to them. It was like eating straight up sugar with like a whisper of flavoring if that. Wholly unappealing. The Lorraine quiche was really good tho! I got the blueberry Bundt cake and the blueberry cheesecake to go for my husband and he the cake was REALLY dry and the cheese cake crust was not good. "The best part of these desserts is the little candied blueberries at the top" the ambiance was quite bleak and really unfriendly feeling. Like the lighting was terrible, the whole sitting area is poorly lit and feels like a prison cell. Just really not a comforting cafe/bakery to walk into and the eats were not good either. I won't be going back or recommending to anyone. *not a set up review, if you look at all my past reviews I say what I feel both good and bad. Just bc Debie is mad at her second bad review in quite a while doesn't mean it's a set up LOL

It's been a long time since I've used Yelp, but I had an experience today that I just had to share…read more I had ordered two large desserts ahead of time through FATD's catering menu; and when I went to pick up my order this morning, one of the desserts (a custom cake) hadn't made it to their production line. It was a special cake for my niece's graduation, so it was important to have for our family celebration. This could have been a sad story, but FATD staff went above and beyond to make their error right. All of the staff, esp the Sunday morning manager (who I'm sorry I didn't catch his name) were so great and made sure that I left with a comparable cake to serve at our graduation party. Above and beyond customer service--there's no other way to describe it. I was already a fan but today they earned my family's business for life. (Their desserts are damn delicious to boot!)

I ordered the chicken minis with the angel biscuits. I thought the biscuits were a little salty and they fell apart so easily but the one in my husbands box with the garlic/cheese biscuits were delicious so i think i just got a messy batch! The amount of baked goods I wanted was crazy. We should've brought a cooler so I could grab some cake slices and cookies. Also we do plan on stopping sometime soon to get some of the take home meals because a lot sounded good and I love an easy dinner. Looking forward to stopping in again!!

The chocolate brownie is thick and rich, but not too sweet, and the marshmallow cream is divine, especially with the ice cream. A lot of their drinks and gin based, which I'm not the biggest fan of, but I always find something I can enjoy. The service is great and relatively quick, and everyone I've met there is kind and willing to help. The inside is a bit small, so smaller crowds are better and it does tend to get crowded later in the evening and on weekends. The outside street sitting area is nice too and hopefully will be fully fixed soon. Overall a great places to stop for drinks and desserts after a nice meal! And the menu rotates seasonally so you'll always have the chance to try something new!

We were honestly a little overwhelmed by all the options, but he gave us an extremely thoughtful and knowledgeable walk-through of the menu, helped us narrow down drinks, and absolutely crushed the recommendations. The desserts were great, the drinks were even better, but Brandon was easily the highlight of our experience. He was kind, helpful, sharp, and clearly knew exactly what he was talking about. Five stars all around. We'll definitely be back.

I mean, it was a Saturday - so - okay, but 5 p.m. is so early to be on that kind of wait already! We ordered a medium pie and the garlic knots. Even coming in after the hour wait, our order still wasn't ready and we waited for probably another 15-20 in the restaurant before it was done. At this point, I'm expecting this pizza must be better than anything else I've ever tasted. Unfortunately, not so much. The pizza was huge - I give it that. A medium was more like a large/extra large at other places. It's not the best NY style pizza I've ever had, but it wasn't the worst. The garlic knots were interesting -- VERY heavy on the butter/garlic topping stuff - so much so it cakes the bottom of the pan. I can see why that would appeal to a lot of folks, but for me and my kids, we found it to sort of just make the knots soggy and mushy instead of that nice balance of dough crisp bread and flavor. Overall, probably on the 3 1/2 star scale for me with the wait/service issues and mostly average flavor.
