Hands down, the absolute best white mocha I've ever had, it was so incredibly smooth, not overly sweet (I can never get Starbucks' white mocha for that reason!), and the perfect temperature. I am extremely happy that I finally tried Lighthouse Coffee. Since I moved into the area over ten years ago, this location has gone through three different coffee shops, and I'm honestly hoping that Lighthouse Coffee is here to stay. They are the best coffee shop at this location so far. I had a blended mocha - which was amazingly creamy and tasty. I got my girls a blended vanilla (no coffee). They were nice enough to split it in between two cups, because we all know that a two and five year old wont drink a full 16 oz cup of blended drinks. Great little coffee shop. Today was the first time I have visited. I am glad I did, the staff was all very nice. The menu was simple yet full of options. I had hot coco (amazing). Was there to visit with a friend. Great place to do that. I liked how clean it was, the roasting thing going on in the corner was cool too. I did not investigate it so don't know what they where doing, did look interesting though. I recommend this little coffee shop! read more

I've only been to this coffee shop a handful of times but I am so in love! I live and work in the area and had never been here until my boyfriend took me. Every experience I have had here has been great so far. The staff is always friendly and even though it may take a few minutes longer on their busier mornings they always deliver great product that's worth the wait. I love the method they use for making their espresso drinks, they taste fresh and are consistently delicious every single time. The food I have had has also been just as good! I am so appreciative of having a local coffee shop in the area that delivers great service and a hundred times better coffee than Starbucks or Dunkin donuts. Phenomenal coffee! I enjoy the owner's authentic enthusiasm about his craft, as he does it without coming off as one of those pretentious coffee snob types. The baristas are always cute and bubbly, which is great because I've yet to reach cute or bubbly when I waltz in there uncaffienated in the mornings. What a fantastic place! Great coffee, baked goods, and fantastic customer service! Don't sale yourself short and hit the local Starbucks! Light House uses the best local coffee roasters in town and all of there coffee is roasted within days of being served. They also have an amazing selection of pastries from an inhouse baker, as well as mind blowing gluten-free treats from Whole Treats, which is surely one of the best bakeries in the areas. Love these guys and am happy that quality, as well as helping out locals can be synonymous. read more

The coffee is legitimately from over seas from all over the world. The flavor of my caramilla drink is unique and delicious. I also ordered a new and original smoothie, the peach-pear. Great vibe, great parking, nice people working the counter and the Barista was friendly as well but the staff didn't seem to know what a dry cappuccino was. We ordered a dry and a wet cap, the dry was almost as milky as the wet (maybe an ounce less milk) and the foam in both was disappointing - not packed and had no "crust". Basically both caps were hot milk with a shot of espresso. I would (and do) make the drive over to Coffee Bar instead, but in a pinch Lighthouse still beats the crap out of Starbucks. read more

This past Sun/Mon I enjoyed getting my coffee fix at this non-chain drive-through establishment Lots of yummy quiche options here. The lady who helped me both days was so very sweet! Well I did "try for yourself"....not the best situation. I figured out that you weren't closed but no signs indicated open or closed (but after checking the door at least it opened) No one was there except one customer on his computer and a person behind the counter chatting with a friend and I couldn't determine what to do. At that point, I almost walked back out. The friend finally acknowleged that she wasn't in line and I was directed to the cash register as if I should have know where it was. I then mention that this is my first time here and then the welcome mat is extended. Another employee shows up and now it's time to talk among themselves as my order is being made, I wanted to ask some questions or be enlightened to what you had, but, didn't want to interupt their banter. As I go to leave the other employee tells me to have a nice day. It seems that again, we have a situation that when you don't have a responsible person working that it turns to fun and games with no regard for the customer that walked in and "got in the way" The coffee was good, Just didn't leave feeling good, maybe I should tried the drive thru and get a better experience. I wish, I would have had some of the great service mentioned in the 5 star reviews........if you are open, put signs up, I want to support local business. It's great that you hire local, high school kids but remember they are kids.... . read more

You can tell that Lighthouse is run by good people, who hire good people to work for them. Everyone is very friendly here. The location is a bit out of the way, but they have drive-thru which is rare for an independent coffee shop. Their coffee is above average. Espresso drinks have a good flavor but the foam game could use some work. The food is pretty good, bagels and quiche both hitting the spot. Overall a great opportunity to support local business (instead of Starbucks) and get good coffee from friendly people. read more

This review is for their blueberry muffin and peach pear smoothie. Unfortunately being pregnant I couldn't try their coffee. Being new to the Sparks area, I didnt know where I could find some decent breakfast food besides Starbucks. I found this gem on yelp and decided to give it a try. Luckily there was a drive thru and I was able to pick up some quick breakfast because I also had my two dogs in the car. I told the barista I was new to the area because my husband and I just relocated due to his new job at Tesla. She even gave me a discount because my husband was a Tesla employee. She was very warm and inviting. I decided not to give 5 starts because the smoothie tasted a bit like syrup flavoring and not the real fruit. However the blueberry muffin was Delish! read more
