Cucumber Toast and Ice Blended Mocha with Espresso
    Danielle M.

Lighthouse Coffee was such a great find! I tried the cucumber toast and an ice blended coffee with espresso both were delicious and super refreshing. The ambiance is amazing: relaxed, welcoming, and just overall really good vibes. The staff were friendly and the whole place felt safe and comfortable to hang out in. Definitely a spot I'll be visiting again soon!

I don't know if it was the long train ride or if the staff single-handedly caught that fish for the lox bagel. Ridiculously good and flavorful. ALTHOUGH i do hear the avocado toast lacks flavor.... chai latte with WHOLE MILK was so good I thank my mom for not making me lactose intolerant. Overall happy

A solid iced chai tea with seating inside and outside. Dogs are allowed on the patio. They have a pretty large menu for drinks but have to get there on the earlier side for bagels and such.

First time coming to Lighthouse and loved how open the space is. Would be so easy to post up and study in a place like this. Had lots of seating and sounded around easily so it didn't feel so loud even with a lot of people there. Not many outlets for charging things though. I ordered a raspberry oat milk latte. A little strong on the raspberry but loved how creamy the latte was. The people behind the bar were really sweet and friendly! Would come back.

Avocado Toast Açai Bowl Hot Chocolate

Great service and ambiance! We had breakfast here yesterday, I ordered 2 avocado toasts and a hot chocolate with oatmilk and my fiancée had an açai bowl with a hot chocolate as well. Everything was very tasty and delicious. I just wish they had smoothies, but we'll definitely come back again for breakfast!!

Extremely slow service and bland tasting coffee is the best way to sum up Lighthouse Coffee. I'm not sure if I caught them on a bad day but I literally thought I lost my taste the coffee was so bland. The coffee took about 5 minutes but the food took more than 30 minutes! By the time it came it wasn't even enjoyable since it took so long. The employee also never gave us the croissant we ordered and when we reminded her she sold all the other ones. They are extremely understaffed and it is highly disappointing. The pros is the immense amount of seating indoors and outdoors. This would be a great spot to study at. There is also a parking lot and some street parking surrounding. However, other coffee shops in the area also have parking along with good service and better tasting coffee.

Lox Bagel 9.47/10- this was absolutely delicious, they ran out of bagels so I was a bit scared to get it on an English muffin cause I didn't think it would be that good but it was actually amazing. The lox and cream cheese were incredibly fresh. The capers and red onions complemented it perfectly and the English muffin was toasted perfectly. It honestly tasted like a half bagel or skinny bagel if that makes sense. Great times with Charlotte what a time

I was very hungry after I went to the DMV in SB so came here on foot (maybe about 7 minutes walk?) If you want to come here by car, there is a small parking in front of the cafe and also you can find a parking in the neighborhood. Tables close to the wall have outlets to charge your phone and computer. The croissant and coffee I ordered were good.

    English Muffin Breakfast Sandwich $10

Needed to kill some time so I popped in for a snack and a Breve. The breakfast sandwich was actually very delicious! Fresh ingredients. I chose English Muffin vs Bagel. I was very satisfied with my meal. Employee's were very courteous and nice. Didn't take long for my order to come out. Great people watching at the Chapala location. Come enjoy!

There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating with lots of coffee options. My favorite is the decaf iced honey latte and I notice people enjoy the iced matcha lattes. You can sit inside and work with plugs or sit in the wonderful Santa Barbara sun in front. There is music playing and sometimes it is more relaxing to just people watch and not laptop work! Staff are friendly and parking is available in the front lot. Highly recommend for a nice morning or afternoon brew.

One of my absolute favorite coffee shops in town! I've been to every location now, and they each have their own quaint vibe. Food is always amazing, and not too pricey for Santa Barbara Standards. They have all kinds of coffees, hot and cold. I always go for their cold brew!

Like many parts of Santa Barbara, the buildings are steeped in history and reflect the Spanish heritage of the city. I walked in my dog (they're dog friendly!) and went straight to look for the menu. My dog immediately found the bike pump and the snacks they leave for dogs. Service is super nice! They all seem very jovial and cheerful - making it a really nice local vibe. It was great to see the community in the coffee shop. Sadly, the coffee leaves something to be desired. Their menu is pretty standard - you got your flat whites, cappuccinos, lattes - and nothing special or standout from the menu. That's fine - you can still be a standout coffee shop with a standard menu. I ordered two vanilla lattes - one hot, and the other iced with oat milk. Unfortunately, I think my order was misheard as my iced oat latte was missing the vanilla. - Vanilla Latte: Fine. My partner typically orders this everywhere and he said it was fine, but nothing standout. 3/5 - Iced Oat Latte: Already mentioned it was missing the vanilla I asked for, so I'll discuss the other elements. They use a darker roast - thus, making it more susceptible to a bitter taste. That, and I believe an over-extraction or a longer pull made the coffee quite bitter. They also served it in the same cup as the hot coffee. My main issue with this is that I'm a slower coffee drinker, and thus my cup began disintegrating as time passed. Their cups aren't constructed to uphold iced coffee well. 2/5 It was such a prime location nearby the USPS and is sat in a great historic area. Handlebars has great staff, who clearly enjoy their jobs, and have a great community surrounding it. It's sad that their coffee is subpar. Strongly recommend you order your coffee hot, to drink in-store, or just avoid.

They give you a buzzer to inform you when your order was ready. The items were made fresh to order. The breakfast tacos were delicious. There's parking in an underground garage there but I found street parking across the street. The bad: I wanted fresh orange juice but they were out. The jamaica drink was supposed to be with lemongrass but I didn't taste the lemongrass. The drink was slightly sweeter than I expected but it came with ice so it would've been great if I let the ice melt more. The interesting: This was one of the 2 or 3 places open at 10 am when I came. The other spots in this food hall had workers there but they didn't officially open until 11 am or later. The bathrooms were clean. I liked the spraying hand sanitizer they had outside the bathroom and the stand alone sink they had at the high chair area by this spot.
