I stopped by for a burger while in the area and was not disappointed! They are huge and very flavorful and the staff was kind and welcoming. I enjoyed the outdoor seating and ambiance of the neighborhood. I had a salad with Blue Cheese and the dressing was AMAZING, which the menu says all their dressings are homemade; it was delicious! The prices were a bit high but I have to say the quality matched the price, so I was not upset. I recommend the bacon cheeseburger; thick pieces of bacon and huge burger! read more

We eat here all the time and have for many years since we live up the street. We recently went and were waited on by Lauren. She is always so friendly and efficient-we always feel welcome and appreciated. I gave four out of five because I wish there were more vegan options on the menu. read more

The California Omelette with extra crispy hashbrowns and rye toast was excellent, the coffee was good, hot, and refilled quickly, and the atmosphere was every bit the chic-beachy casual vibe that I had hoped they would implement when they recently remodeled this local gem. The staff were friendly, attentive, and on-point with their service. Grab a seat next to the roll-up windows, sit back, and watch the neighborhood go by. This is sure to be even more a neighborhood favorite now that they've updated the interior and opened it up to take advantage of the amazing So Cal weather. Nice little place. Chairs aren't very comfortable, but everything is clean and new and the staff is very friendly. However, the wait time was more than 30 minutes from the time we ordered. Simple eggs and toast. Food was average. I think this placee has new ownership because the food isn't the same from the last time we were here. Granted it's been a few years. read more

The potato pancakes were cold mashed potatoes. The bacon had a funny flavor and it was half cooked. Toast came out cold so the butter didn't melt on it. When you see a small town cafe, you assume that as a local place, they must have quality and or tasty food. Neither is the case with the Lighthouse Cafe. I only ordered the lemonade, which was good. My husband ordered the diced ham omelette with a side of roasted potatoes and a biscuit. He did not like the omelette. The biscuit was stale. The potatoes were not fully cooked or well seasoned. The service was very good. The young lady was sweet and engaging. Oh and the biggest travesty is that they do not serve pastries!!! You read that right. We had just arrived back into San Pedro after our weekend cruise and we yelped a place to eat and this place popped up so we decided to try it. It was delicious!! I had the breakfast grilled cheese sandwich and it was amazing. My fiancé had the lighthouse breakfast and they were both big portions and delicious. The service was amazing, friendly and quick. I love this hidden local charming place. They don't have vegan options listed on the menu, but the staff is knowledgeable and if you ask, they will prepare an excellent salad or offer other options. Also, the Prosecco listed on the wine menu is vegan-friendly. read more

They have renovated and everything looks so nice and clean. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing. I had the huevos rancheros special and absolutely loved it. maaaaaan, i just finished up some work and this place was near by. i was like oh dope ill check this little spot out. i walk in they're like "anywheres fine" and i sit down and they're like "not there"...girl...this there counts as anywhere...but anyways it takes like a cool 10 minutes for someone to notice me sitting and they're like "how long u been here" and i said "a while" and the lady was like "oh ok" AND WALKED AWAY. then i got my omelette, real life, if i ate omelette ingredients and threw up on a pan it would probably taste better than the denver omelette. only giving it 2 stars cause i found out i don't have crohn's disease midway through my meal. that's literally it read more

The food here is always fresh and delicious. Kudos to the cook! My favorite is any plate with polish sausage. It's cooked to perfection and perfectly paired with other ingredients. I prefer to come here in the morning because I've experienced some rudeness from the later servers.
