We ordered two katsu sandwiches, one with cheese and one without. Both were perfectly deep fried, crispy on the outside and juicy inside. The version with cheese was tasty but had a little too much for my preference. The waffle fries were excellent and the salad was fresh. Portions were generous and very satisfying. It's also in a great location for lunch, and the space is big enough to accommodate larger groups comfortably. The only downside was the open kitchen, which made the dining area feel a bit humid and filled with the deep fried smell. Overall, a great spot for a casual lunch.
Stumbled across this cute cafe with a friend. It was quite empty and we were seated quickly. We got the Japanese okonomiyaki waffle fries, miso mushroom sukiyaki beef pasta, and ube buttermilk mini pancakes (strongly recommend). Everything was delicious and the food came pretty quickly. Tip: They have a 10% cash discount!
Stumbled across this place while I was in the area. Really amazing food and courteous service. There are many vegetarian options as well and service is quick. The ambiance is okay - would be nice if they increase the heat in winter!
After my first visit a few years ago I've been back quite a few times. They still have a beautiful and delicious menu, staff are always friendly, food is always fabulous, lovely atmosphere!
Don't let the name fool you--this is incredible, high-quality food! I left this place with way more than I expected from such a small spot. calling it a "cafe" almost feels misleading because it implies it's just a coffee-centered place, but the food here is truly high-quality restaurant material. The meals were incredibly good, well-prepared, and there are so many amazing options. I also loved that the food is made in plain sight; watching them prepare the meal brought a lot of comfort and trust in the quality. It's a nice, small place perfect for a quiet meal with people you enjoy. I wished for a little bit more service, but the food was so good that I didn't mind. A hidden gem!
This cafe is cozy and I love their open kitchen. They have Asian twist on brunch, croissant, pasta and sandwiches. I ordered smoked salmon croissant with fried sweet potato. The sweet potato, crunchy outside and soft inside - Perfect! Their food was delicious! I was there on sat around 1230, and there's a line and we waited for around 20mins to be seated. Service is amazing, food came out quickly. They provide a good variety of food and I will definitely come and try the others food!
Chill little spot with a clean, bright vibe. Plants, natural light, and just enough buzz to feel alive without being loud. I had the chicken brunch box : buttery croissant with seasoned chicken and fresh greens. Waffle fries were crispy with that perfect golden bite, salad was light but flavorful with their house dressing, and the mini pancakes? Soft, fluffy, just sweet enough. Everything tasted intentional. Nothing bland, nothing overdone. Just real good balance and flavour. Rating: 4 out of 5
Love this place for brunch! If I'm in the Spadina/Kensington area, this one is my go-to. While it is a bit more pricey ($20-$35+), I love how many different foods you get in one dish and the portions are large. For someone who loves a little bit of everything, I'm always in heaven. My go-to is the chicken salad croissant which comes with 2 eggs you way, a fulsome salad, sausage, bacon, mini pancakes, and TATER TOTS (or other amazing options such as waffle fries). Their coffee is also solid, and I just tried their uji matcha latte the other day, and while I'm not a super expert at matcha, I really enjoyed the drink. For ambiance, the decor is nice, but it's always busy so while it could be good for a daytime date, it's always bustling and not the most intimate. I always leave here satisfied and happy. Try to go a little bit before or after peak times (lunch, dinner, etc.) as it gets packed quickly and there's almost always a line but it goes by quickly.
I was waiting for my laptop to be fixed and decided to take myself out for brunch! Light cafe, I walked past it a few times trying to fix it because the sign is kind of obscure. I almost gave up! Glad I didn't. I was the only patron when I entered. They are know for their elaborate takeout boxes, there were endless orders just waiting to be picked up. I was quickly seat and gave a menu. The decor and ambience of the place is nice! I sat near the windows, it's a really nice cafe that serves breakfast and lunch items and attracts the university crowd. The cappuccino came first and was perfect. It was a traditional cappuccino made with more foam than milk which I loved and the little biscoff cookie is a sweet indulgence treat! For breakfast I ordered the 25 mini pancakes with cake with salad, your choice of side and choice of fries. I opted for sausage and bacon and the waffle fries. I read someone say the waffle fries were next level...and they were right! Also includes choice of eggs which I opted for no eggs! It is a lot of food! A lot of yummy food. The mini pancakes...well first they are super cute but it's just the perfect morsel of pillowy yumminess. The mini pancakes were fluffy and delicious, even without syrup the pancakes were delicious! The sausage and bacon is the perfect saltiness you want to balance the sweet. But, besides the pancakes. The real start were the waffle fries. They were crispy perfection! Not crispy to the point it was hard it was crispy, the potato inside was light and airy. It was just perfect. I would honestly just come back for the waffle fries but all the food here is amazing!! As I was there the place started to fill up and looking at the amazing sandwiches other patrons got...I know I have to return and try something else. Come hungry, leave satisfied!
Its been a while since I've been to Light Cafe. This time around I got the Pulled Pork brunch plate. I got it with waffle fries, scrambled eggs, side salad and mini pancakes. I'd say the sides were pretty solid, the flavour was there and it was satisfying to eat but maybe a bit expensive for what it was. The main was pulled pork in a croissant. The pulled pork had a bit of an aftertaste so that was the only thing i didn't finish on my plate which was a bit disappointing. Overall I'd still say that this is a good restaurant to try once in a while but maybe not for long since there are a few asian brunch spots popping up lately.
The Swiss Roll & Chiffon Uji Matcha Roll combo stole the show, but the Classic Buttermilk Mini Pancakes took it to the next level--25 mini pancakes loaded with strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, vanilla ice cream, and maple syrup. The Light Cafe Breakfast Sandwich was a breakfast dream come true. Hash browns, breakfast sausages, fried egg, tomato, lettuce, red cabbage, cheddar cheese, mayo, ketchup, all sandwiched between perfectly toasted bread. Choose between a side salad or waffle fries--both equally tasty!
Great spot for brunch with good food. They have many variations of brunch plates, sandwiches, dessert and drinks on their menu. The service was a little slow but you're able to place the order in person through their QR code placed on the table. The restaurant itself is spacious and bright. Overall, it's a good brunch spot in the city.
I love Light Cafe and it's a really cute cafe to eat at, with tons of savory and sweet options! I tried out their famous brunch box during lock down and it's such a nice pick me up Presentation is beautiful. It comes with your choice of croissant sandwich, eggs prepared to your preference, a salad, sausage/bacon, fries, and a portion of mini pancakes. I love how you basically get a multi-course meal in one box! Personally I got the kimchi sukiyaki croissant sandwich, eggs benedict, and waffle fries. The croissant sandwich was a bit soft by time of delivery but nothing that a bit of time in the oven can't fix. The eggs benedict is a bit runny and the hollandaise sauce could be a bit stronger but it's still pretty good. Love the waffle fries, I've tried the parmesan waffle fries before too but the flavour is pretty subtle (I recommend eating them on their own to fully appreciate the flavour). Also got the lobster roll and truffle mushroom pasta which were fragrant and fulfilling as well The bacon/pork really compliments the more bland creamy pasta sauce. This place is ranked my top favourite breakfast, lunch, brunch spot! The location is central but I almost walked past the building. I'm highly particular with my reviews and for this one I only have one minor piece of feedback to give. Pros: location, taste, flavour, preparation, garnish, visuals, EVERYTHING was out of this world delicious! 5/5 is underrated to say the least. The employees worked together but also had their own tasks within the kitchen, the environment was friendly, personal, and euphoric. The employees seemed genuinely happy to be there! Con: Drinks came out at the same time as the food but water was given prior. They may be busy BECAUSE THEYRE SO POPULAR AND GOODDD! read more

The service at Light Cafe was a bit different. In order to get a brunch box you have to order it online and you're not allowed to sit in the restaurant if you ordered a brunch box. I had to order the box 2-3 days in advance and schedule a pick-up time, due to how busy the restaurant supposedly is. When I got there, there was no line and barely anyone sitting inside. The food was a little bit cold and soggy. The mini pancakes were nice and fluffy, the sauce for the waffle fries was great. the salad on the side was different, but a pallet cleanser, and the eggs tasted like plastic. Went here with my best friend on a brunch date and we really loved the atmosphere of this restaurant. We got the Maine Lobster roll and it came with waffle fries. The lobster roll was very delicious and the waffle fries were super crispy I really recommend it! The matcha roll cake did disappoint me as it had a very weak taste of matcha I wish it was stronger. The peach calpis smoothie was good and also very tall . I would definitely recommend this restaurant I will be back to try their coffee! read more
Very busy brunch place located on Baldwin Street. Finally got to try this place after seeing multiple instagram posts about it. The line up was about 30minutes, so we walked around the area. We ordered the creme brule latte ( which was ok, just tasted like a regular latte in my opinion). Ordered the popular mini buttermilk pancakes/ eggs/ salad/lobster roll/ sausage and waffle fries. Lobster roll is not your typical lobster roll, tastes more artificial. This particular dish is good if you enjoy lots of carbs. Aside from that ordered the Sukiyaki Beef pasta, and they forgot the beef lol. I thought it was minced at first, but I realized it was just pasta and a poached egg. lol They made a new one, and let us keep the original pasta that was brought out. Nothing special about this dish... imagine spaghetti pasta with soya sauce, poached eggs and a couple of pieces of beef (similar to teriyaki style) Overall, great atmosphere and plating looks amazing. Came here after dinner for desserts. Upon entering the place, I thought I was at a sauna. The whole entire time it was so hot that eventually we asked to be moved near the door where it was kept opened. Because it was so hot, I decided on peach calpis slush to cool me down. The taste was nothing special. But it did help cool me down. Service was prompt but with minimal interactions. Restaurant was supposed to close at midnight. At 11pm, we were asked to pay because they were shutting the card machines off. First time experiencing this. Meh. read more
The first time I visited Light Cafe was for their TikTok-famous take-out brunch box. The portion was huge and was enough to share among two people. I'm definitely a big fan of their bite-sized pancakes - light and fluffy! My second visit was for dine-in brunch. I opted for the garlic dill karaage sandwich because I wanted to try a new item. It was a bit underwhelming - I wish the chicken was more tender and less salty. However, my brother ordered the duck breast salad and it was decent. Light box Café was the cutest takeout I have ever ordered in my life it was enough for two to share but if your hungry one box can easily be eaten by one. I came here on a late Friday afternoon with a friend. I was worried that it wouldn't live up with the hype but it completely did! We were able to be seated right away. Menus can be viewed on their website or by scanning a QR code at the table. The food was SO incredibly good. My friend got the Kimchi Sukiyaki beef and I can't put into words how amazingly delicious it was. We were both shook. The pancakes are also perfectly fluffy and bite sized. I'm not really a pancake person but I devoured the 25 mini ones I ordered. The portion sizes are also huge for the affordable price. The restaurant is cute and on the smaller size. There is a 1 hour time limit there and it gets very busy on the weekends. The staff were super friendly and were quick to refill our water! Parking is somewhat annoying since it's mainly street parking but the restaurant is only a short walk away from St. Patrick station. read more
Wait wasn't long because we were ok to sit outside. But if you're not in a rush, I'd recommend indoors because it was annoying with bees/wasps hovering. Bonus points for having umbrellas and hand sanitizers available for each patio table. There was a breeze despite of the 30℃ blazing hot weather. There are 2 individual communal washrooms. It was clean with paper towel available. Next to it, however, was a freezer with boxes of frozen French fries stacked on top, unopened... It was a bit concerning as it was a pretty hot/humid day, and hopefully that was taken care of properly. Service was slow and maybe kitchen was slow. There were a couple of food courriers waiting to pick up their orders, and were still waiting when I my meal was served. The Maine lobster roll brunch was bomb and very filling!! The presentation was amazing and made the dining experience worthy for another visit in the future. Make sure to check-in and show the coupon for a free coffee!! HACK: 10% off if you show a student ID I tried their Mango Waffle and it was sooo filling and yummy! The waffles were warm and had a nice crunch on the outside. Love their brunch plates! Comes with main pick (got the smoked salmon croissant, sausage, bacon), salad, mini pancakes, choice of eggs (got the eggs Benedict) and another choice of sides like waffle fries. The croissant and pancakes were great, everything else was average. Prices are reasonable and portions are huge. Only downside is wait time on weekends which is expected in Downtown Toronto. Came 30mins after opening time on a weekend and waited ~1h. They also only take cash or debit. read more

The food was great! It's a cute little restaurant that tries to lean into brunch. Out of our three dishes (kagare, scrambled egg avo croissant, Maine lobster roll) the croissant was the best dispite the bruised avo pictured. I personally didn't care for the lobster roll. This spot is serving the Instagram famous brunch boxes. The box comes with a salad, bacon, sausage, choice of fries, croissant with a choice of filling - lobster, pulled pork and mushroom, mini pancakes and a choice of eggs. My friends and I went on a Friday afternoon and our food was ready in 15 minutes- quick service. I got the pulled pork box with waffle fries and scrambled eggs. The pulled pork filling is to die for!! I wasn't expecting much from the croissant but it was definitely my favourite part of the box. Waffles fries were fresh and crunchy and the pancakes were super delicious as well. The box is for $20 and it is totally worth the price. This cafe has some of the best food presentation! It's a great quiet place to grab desserts and also amazing for brunch. I came here with a friend after hotpot, I got the matcha red bean puff and my friend got the strawberry chiffon roll cake. I was pleasantly surprised by how rich the cream was. The matcha cream had a strong matcha flavour but was not overly bitter, the red bean cream was amazing. The choux pastry was crisp and complemented the cream well. I found this place through Tik Tok, advertising their brunch boxes. I wanted to browse their brunch choices but their cakes caught my attention more! I ordered 2 of their cakes online, a custom letter/number cake and an Earl Grey Chiffon Cake. For their letter/number cake, you submit an order form online and they e-mail you back to confirm your order. I received a response in a timely manner. The person I was e-mailing with was very accommodating with my requests. I added on the Earl Grey Chiffon Roll Cake through our e-mail conversation and the overall process was very smooth. Both cakes were light and not too sweet (I requested for them to be less sweet). They are pretty pricey for the size you get, but the presentation makes it worth it! *FYI the number I requested was difficult to make out since the size of the number was small* I will be back to try their brunch box!! read more

I cannot get over how amazing their brunch box is. It was extremely delicious and the perfect thing one can ask for. We got the smoke salmon with sausage bacon and tater tots and mini pancakes, a small salad and poached eggs in hollandaise which wasn't really eggs benny but it was decent. It was just perfect. Loved the way everything was portioned and had small containers for everything you need. Perfection! I was disappointed with the ube pancake because i was so hyped for this. It tasted like regular pancakes. It came with a side of ice cream, ube cream and nutella. However I would say keep it original and remove the nutella and add more ube cream. The ice cream was a perfect touch. The service was phenomenal, so they messed with one of the items in our order which was the smoked salmon and gave us something else accidentally, as it was a take out they immediately called us back and apologized and made us a new box. Most other restaurants would have waited for the customer to complain but they rectified their mistake. As we works close by we're definitely going to be regulars here! read more

Light open space with picture worthy decor. I had a hot chocolate, which was creamy and came with a toaster marshmallow. A simple item but I did appreciate the effort and the little biscuits on the side. They have gluten free options and their chicken wings look good also! Here's another review based on the fact I saw it on tiktok. Pros - you get a bit of everything! - eggs, bacon, 1 sausage - waffle fries - mini pancakes with a light syrup - mini salad - croissant with your choice of topping - the lobster was good - light and fresh - stuffed after finishing it all Cons - it's pretty expensive. A regular box is $19.99 which we got the pulled pork and it was quite dry. Sauce on it would have been clutch. - $24.99 for the lobster - don't do the eggs with hollandaise. It doesn't taste the best. - the meat was a bit greasy but the cardboard soaked some of it up lol Overall, very glad we tried it. I like variety so trying this was great. Nothing that pops different and due to the price, I wouldn't buy it unless I was craving hard for that lobster. Taste factor, 4 stars. Price brings it down to 3.5 Nice staff. And you can do walk ins or order online. They also do ubereats. read more

Location/Service - Along Baldwin street, very limited parking available around the street and the block (suggest carpooling or public transit) - Cafe is easy to spot, really like their interior and decor, which has a very rainforest vibe (especially the wall of greenery) and also a higher quality of furniture/utensils - Cafe is also spacious, perfect for small groups or studying (nice atmosphere) - Staff were friendly and quick with orders Food/Drink - Smoked Salmon Salad ($11.25) Pretty standard salad with fresh smoked salmon and a variety of vegetables like corn, tomatoes, red onion, radish, cucumbers and lettuce. Very healthy and hearty. Surprisingly filling as well. - Light Cafe Special ($5.50) Basically it's pretty standard coffee but presented uniquely where the coffee and milk are in separate tubes. You pour it yourself into the cup to adjust your ratio. Also provides sugar and 2 biscuits to compliment. The coffee itself wasn't anything astonishing, but still good to taste Overall, this is a pretty good brunch place if you're in the neighbourhood. This review and rating is specifically for Light Cafe's takeout. I ordered their lobster croissant brunch box as well as Taiwanese chicken wings for a picnic. The brunch box was cute and came with a lot of food - a lobster croissant, eggs (made your way), fries (made your way), mini pancakes with fruit, and salad. Everything tasted delicious. The chicken wings were really flavourful - almost too salty and my tolerance is pretty high. The only downside is that they are pretty busy on the weekend pumping out so many of these brunch boxes while serving the dine-in customers so if you didn't preorder in advance (which I didn't do) expect to line up to order then wait another 40-60 minutes for the food to be ready. read more

Light Cafe!!! I was walking in Baldwin hoping to find a nice study spot at Charidise to study but the place ppl was packed so I decided to go to Light Cafe which was half full. Although it is a cafe, I thought it was more of a dessert restaurant where you dine in for dessert and their food menu. However, I needed to study. I asked the server who was super nice and she said the max alotted time is 2 hours and I could stay longer because it wasn't busy. And so I did! I got the uji matcha latte with soy milk which came with matcha and a shot of espresso. As soon as I found out there was espresso in it, I had to drink it as soon as possible because $6 is not going down the drain in fear of staying up late. It also came with two biscuits. I loved the bright lighting and atmosphere at Light Cafe, it really helped me study and stay awake. Music is a bit loud, not contemporary pop, but wasn't bothersome. The Uji Matcha latte itself didn't have a strong matcha taste neither did it have a strong espresso taste. It was balanced. I forgot to ask if they added sugar to it as there is no sugar on the side for you to put in. But I didn't sense any sugar... which I hope is true. Matcha latte was 3/5 but service was a solid 5. Came by for dessert and afternoon tea with a few friends during a busy weekend. We were told there was a 2 hr seating limit during peak busy times. I ordered a single origin blend slow drip coffee and my friends and I shared a matcha red bean mini mille-feuille and cream brulee three ways (early grey, matcha, coffee flavours). We were all surprised at the small size of the mille-feuille as we did not realize it was a mini one at first. We didn't understand why the restaurant decided to have a regular size and a mini size mille-feuille when some flavour combinations were only available in the regular size and some were only available in the mini size. This in itself was very confusing as it makes more sense to have one consistent size of mille-feuilles. The creme brulees were good though. Service was good but the drinks took a while to be made and as a result we got our desserts before our drinks. It was to the point where we almost finished our food before our drinks came. Would be interested to try the savory foods but I imagine the place gets busy during lunch hours! read more
This place is all things great when it comes to brunch . They have a wide range of menu items, i went specifically for brunch and was not disappointed at all. I went with the smoked salmon w egg on the croissant . It was so tasty, i throughly enjoyed it. It came with a side option, i choose parm waffle fries. It also came w a side if mini pancakes and a salad. I have zero complaints and cleaned my plate in full which never happens. My gf got the mushroom on croissant with salad, pancakes and tater tots. Again plate cleaned. The fries/tater tots were nice and crunchy and came hot. The croissant was flaky on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Eggs were cooked perfectly and had lil spices/herbs on it. My gf is vegan so she got extra tots instead of egg . The mushroom croissant was packed w flavourful mushrooms and more than one kind. My only thought is they could have added a sauce on it or cheese, something to take it all the way. But maybe it was only lacking because of the missing egg. The latte was great and came on a beautiful cup and plate w a biscuit. We also got a mango smoothie which was also plentiful and delish. Tasted just like the mango smoothies u get at the bubble tea places w the chunks of mango on top. I loved the low lights hanging over the tables against the wall. The floors are concrete and the chairs are metal , so imagine the sound. Lastly the bathroom. Ugh the bathroom. Very very gross. Low ass toilet but the bathroom clearly has never been cleaned. Someone needs to turn on a sanitation hose and just power wash that whole bathroom. There was like brown down dripping down the bathroom wall. Smh read more

Light Cafe is definitely a hidden gem in the Baldwin area They blew up all over social media during the pandemic because of their brunch boxes but now was the time to try how they are for dine-in! Our server ya-ya was so incredibly amazing and hospitable with taking our order and suggestions with some of her favourites and popular menu items! The mentaiko pasta with smoked salmon was so incredibly creamy. The kimchi croissants with eggs Benedict was perfection. The lobster roll with waffle fries were supreme. Each dish was under $25 and extremely affordable for any foodie looking for a hearty and delicious meal! The decor inside is very cute for a cute date or a small get together for a drink and dessert! read more
Light Cafe was AMAZING!! Upon entering you are greeted by friendly waitstaff and the great aroma of waffles. There wasn't a table ready for when I arrived but the hostess took down my name and phone number and told me there would be about a 5-10 minute wait. 5 minutes later I got a call saying my table was ready - that was fast! I was already impressed with their turnaround time. Upon being seated you are given menus on the aesthetic marble tables which are picture perfect. The friendly waitress gave us water and menus and some suggestions as we placed our order which was a nice touch. They really know the menu well and made sure to ask the chef of any clarifications. We decided on some lattes, coffee, 'cream' brûlée and strawberry waffle. I read on Yelp the food takes some time to be prepared so I was expecting some wait time. The lattes and coffee were delivered first, quite swiftly, in very unique cups. With barely any wait time, the fresh strawberry waffle came, complete with a little strawberry syrup container. The waffle was so fresh and great portion size! You can easily split this between 2 or 3 people. The strawberry icecream was great too! So fresh and not overly sweet. As I began to eat my portion of the waffle, the cream brûlée came. This was creme brûlée 3 ways, white chocolate, early grey and coffee. It had a perfectly crisp sugar top, and the flavour palette was awesome. The early grey was my favourite flavour and had a small dollop of vanilla ice cream on top. Too adorable. The ambience was great complete with a 'living' wall, aesthetically pleasing decor, and relatively quite atmosphere. Those marketing tactics had me seeing @lightboxcafe brunch boxes everywhere so naturally I had to try it! There were a few options for the proteins, eggs and sides and I chose the smoked salmon box with eggs over easy and tater tots. Most of the box was made fresh; Specifically the tater tots were hot and crispy, the bacon was crispy too but the portion was so small I almost missed it. The salad and dressing wasn't bad, pretty basic greens and dressing. I was sad about the the little pancakes being cold. I also didn't expect the smoked salmon to be just 2 pieces rolled up into one. However the croissant was buttery and flakey and when I put some salmon and egg inbetween... it was a DIY masterpiece ! This place is CASH only! They do have an atm inside the restaurant just incase. We enjoyed our meal here and give it 4.5 stars if it weren't for cash only and had good service throughout the meal I would've given it 5 stars. My bf reserved seats for 12:45pm. He told me it was busy before 12:45 since the lunch time crowd came by, got less busy as we finished our meal. We got seated right away and was given the menu. To start off I got the cotton candy coffee cause I'm a caffeine junkie as well as wanting it for instagram (kristinerella54) purposes and my bf got the Taiwanese inspired fresh fruit black tea. We both enjoyed our drinks. I got the lobster roll bf got the philly cheese steak croissant and we got the charcoal and black sesame waffles for dessert with added mochi. Lobster roll was light and refreshing Im definitely glad my bf talked me into getting this cause I was contemplating between this and the duck breast salad. He liked his food but liked mine better. The salad dressing was light and delicious. I got the yuzu dressing and he got the house dressing which was a yummy tomato based dressing which kinda reminds me of a marinara type sauce. For the dessert I enjoyed the different texture the mochi gives being inside the waffle batter, it gave it more texture and was yummy paired with ice cream. Service was great but slowed down a bit closer to the end of our meal. But would definitely recommend trying this place out. read more

Came to check out their TikTok famous Brunch Boxes, and the hype is real & WORTH it. The location is in a small alley in Toronto, and packed with cars waiting outside. The stuff was extremely nice & friendly. We placed an order for 2 Brunch Boxes (Lobster & Smoked Salmon), and requested that we substitute the included bacon & sausage with veggies (they gave us roasted cauliflower & sweet potato). They told us it would be a 30 minute wait, and called me when the food was ready for pickup (exactly 30 minutes later!). So anyways; onto the real review: The box was very packed, with fresh hot food. The lobster croissant was crispy, buttery, and DELICIOUS! The 2 eggs I received were perfectly poached with yummy hollandaise sauce on top. The salad was arugula, baby corn, red onion, & cherry tomato, which were all very obviously fresh. The included salad dressing was a 1000 island sauce (or maybe French dressing?) & was light and yummy. The truffle waffle fries were ok. I would say they were my least favourite of the whole box. Not because they weren't good, but because everything else was so exceptional! Lastly the mini pancakes were EVERYTHING! They were bite sized, tiny, super cute, and sooo fluffy! Like eating little clouds or pillows. They came with maple syrup in a separate container, blueberries, and strawberry bits and pieces. Overall a wonderful experience and I HIGHLY recommend! For 25$ or 20$ the brunch box is super filling with everything you could ever want/need for an on the go brunch. You also get 15% off if you pick up the order yourself (instead of UberEats) so please do that and support the place directly! UberEats charges the restaurant so make sure your money is going towards supporting local business. 10/10 highly recommend the Lobster Brunch Box!! By far my FAVORITE cafe. I've been here 3 times. They serve my top 3 things and they taste absolutely scrumptious: 1. Teas - love love love their fruit teas!!! Tried the Taiwanese fruit tea... Kind of too concentrated but once I got some extra hot water it was perfect. The chamomile fruit tea was amazing as well... I would definitely order these again. 2. Truffle croissant - jus to die for. Had this the other time and how could I resist ordering this again. I'm jus speechless of the flavor combination. The salad dressing that they have for the salad is also really good. 3. Desserts... I cannot resist!!! Black seseme seed waffle with ice cream - heart shaped waffles... Made cute... Black seseme and vanilla ice cream with black seseme sauce... Amazing combo. The service is great, so if ur in the area... You must must must come visit this place whether it's for coffee, tea, lunch, dinner or dessert!!! Give it a try... U won't regret it read more
