IF YOURE INTERESTED IN THE WHITE 2015 SUBARU BRZ Limited, read this IMMEDIATELY! I was interested…read morein this car despite it being over priced (without a trade in vehicle it's almost $17k....and that's just the retail....without the lo Jack and dealer fees) I ended up getting a better deal on the same car in better condition (like $4.5k less then what they are asking here). this car is a RUST BELT CAR. It spent most of its life in Illinois/Indiana.....harsh winters and road salt and after investigating it looks like it wasn't well protected from the road salt. For a minute they didn't have pictures up on cactus auto of the vehicle, so after researching the VIN I found some auction photos from 20k miles ago. Let's just say those pictures opened my eyes to a lot of things about this vehicle that could be problematic if not addressed immediately The new pictures on cactus auto look "better" but The engine bay scared me away from purchasing this vehicle from cactus. When you go to look at this car, pop open the hood, don't be distracted by the tacky red painted components and look at everything that is metal. look at bolts holding the serpentine pulleys system. Look at the metal tube holding the dipstick. One thing I can see just from pictures is that The bolts are all still corroded. Even still in the "clean engine bay" photos, they have not been replaced. Replacing these corroded/rusted bolts is going to be a mechanics nightmare, if they snap while replacing pulleys, it's a serious problem for the mechanic. You see if this corrosion or rust has already started to make its way into the crankshaft, this vehicle is going to need to have its motor rebuilt in less than a year. Say the bolt on the harmonic damper randomly snaps...you're looking at Component Separation. In extreme cases, a failed bolt can allow the entire harmonic balancer to fall off while driving. This immediately stops the alternator, water pump, and power steering, often leading to rapid engine overheating. If you're interested in this car, and you're okay with the overpriced sticker on this vehicle, have cactus auto replace every corroded component in the engine bay. If they have integrity, they will do it. I think then they could possibly list it for almost $17k and it be a fair price after the corrosion is addressed. Also look at the frame, if rust is present visually without looking hard, there is forsure rust hidden deep within this cars structure. The 3 stars are only for Heather and her transparency that the vehicle was still in transit when I was inquiring about it and wanted pictures. She was professional. Hopefully they fix this and don't try to sell this potential Corroded nightmare to an unsuspecting buyer. Hope this helps look up the vin, read the CARFAX. you'll see, they replaced the serpentine belt since but the bolts have not been replaced.

I was in Tucson for work and live in the Phoenix metro area. I'm in the market for a new vehicle and had some time open after work. The Tucson East location was a mile from my hotel so I decided to cruise over and check out what was on their lot. Jackie was amazing. She helped me identify a car and went with me on the test drive at my request since I don't know the area super well. I ended up loving the car and shipping it to a location near my home. I'm still waiting on the arrival of the vehicle- but just wanted to give a shout out to Jackie who was sweet, amazing, personable in every way and very encouraging of helping me compare and review all options. Go see Jackie at Tucson East Carmax for a great car buying experience!!!

The Infiniti techs found a laundry list of major issues. Dark AT fluid, cracked drive belts, dirty air filters, dirty cabin filter, head gasket leak, cracked heater hose, 12 years old old spark plugs that the manual says are change by time, which is 10 years, brakes at 3mm, and dark and dirty differential fluid. Total about $3117. CarMax refused to change the dark AT fluid, which called for replacement, by time or mileage, claiming it was not dark. CarMax refused to change the cracked drive belts, claiming they were not cracked, claimed the head gasket was not leaking, and refused to service, denied that the plugs needed replacing, claiming "well, they could have been replaced already", and finally, denied that the differential fluid was dark and dirty, and again, refused to service. So I am left with about $1200-2000 in undone, needed maintenance. CarMax did change the filters, the heater hose, and changed the front brake pads and rotors. Not quite half the work. You decide who you would trust. Infiniti of Tucson has done right by me for nearly 10 years. Calling their technicians liars doesn't sit well with me. At this point, I wouldn't let CarMax service my lawnmower. There's also taking three weeks to get the car shipped from Amarillo to Tucson and drivable by me. CarMax did refund $651 in shipping. CarMax might inspect 125 systems in a world where cars actually have that many systems. They check the oil, put new shit tires on it, and there's your rigorous process. Buyer **cking beware. The one star is for the shipping refund, or it would be zero stars. CarMax is more like The Car Lots.

I have been a customer of Prestige for over a decade, but have to go on record to describe the unprofessional way I was treated and the mechanical mistake that was made. The mechanical mistake that was made was that after replacing the window regulator, the rear passenger side door was permanantly locked. It would not open manually or remotely. I discovered this the next day and called the shop. The unprofessionalism came from the owner, Brad, who first gave me a hard time about asking to be driven back to my house while they had the car for the repair. He tried to use COVID restrictions and the distance as reasons why he was not comfortable with this. I found this unusual because he has had someone take me to my place of work and even loaned me a car for the day in the past. The other unprofessional behavior came when I had to make a second trip to the shop due to the mechanic's error and was told it was too late in the day to have that error corrected, so I had to come back a third time. The last bit of poor customer service came when Brad did not respond to my email in which I expressed my disappointment in his 'attitude' and also reported that the mechanic had left black marks/stains on the rear seat when he had the car to correct his own mistake. There was no offer to see the stains, clean them or discount the service. I will be looking for another place to get my auto service.

His price was on par with other private shops and about half the chain and dealer shops. He didn't try to sell me crap I don't need. But did do a complimentary point inspection, and noticed my brakes needed changed, which I was aware of but putting off. He changed the pads and when they found the rotors couldn't be turned, he put on new at cost so it would stay with-in his quoted cost. Overall, great experience and very easy to work with. Be aware that the sign outside if for Starr, same thing I guess.

Before moving to Arizona, I was under the impression car batteries would last for 3 to 5 years because that's how long they lasted when I was growing up. In Tucson, the heat shorten the battery life significantly and so the forever program means they replaced the battery every other year, and I schedule an appointment for a new one. On this particular occasion, I brought my car in to get serviced as there was a recall on the fuel pump for my car and I was able to schedule an appointment at the day of my convenience. In the past I could work in the Customer Service area as they had a desk so you could set up your laptop at work. This day they ordered me Lyft to take me home, since the job was to take 4-5 hours. I was sent updated photos by text on the status of my car and a multi point inspection summary. After picking up my car, they actually called saying would I be interested in selling my car cause they wanted a car just like that, hoping to get me into a nicer newer one.. in the past when I have had to wait they have ice cream in the lobby for free for patron so silly as it may seem I always seem like excited to see that ice cream cooler. John and Corey have always been very nice and professional in the service department. In the past with other dealerships I dreaded getting my car serviced but here they really want me as a customer for life. The employees are sure to make sure I've been helped.
