3/9/23 UPDATE: I want to make clear how this business's response exemplifies just as I've said in the unprofessionalism and lengths they'll go through to paint a customer who tells the truth about their distasteful experience, as delusional. As you can see in my reviews, I do not go out of my way to paint businesses on a bad light and have great relationships with many Tucson organizations and businesses, as I really do want to shed light on great spots in Tucson. THIS IS NOT ONE OF THEM. I've stated nothing but truth in my post. Their statements in response are the opposite. False, blatant lies and unprofessional. So much so that it's not even worth addressing each one. This exchange should be all you need to see. Don't let this be you. Choose literally any other dealership to avoid this bad business. *One more thing I forgot to mention was about their We-O, not sure if that's how it's spelled but if you're buying a car from them you'll know what I'm talking about. They will tell you that if it's on there they will take care of the service. But be careful because they will actually prolong fixing it by telling you whatever they can, until they can tell you that "it's been so long, their no longer bound to that document." What a friendly and hassle free car buying experience! The last car we purchased was from a Jim Click dealer and in the end I left angrily with my new car. This family run business is quaint, we saw a car online, deal seemed too good to be true and we went in for a test drive. No hassles or questions we were immediately able to drive the car after providing a copy of our license. Felt like I was buying from a relative I trust. We had been pre-approved for a loan, but given the holiday we couldn't really seal the deal. The dealer held the car for us until the next day when we were able to get our documents in order. It was a great deal and the car had a lot of interest that he turned away while waiting for us. I was just lucky to see the listing at the right time. No hassling on warranties or up sells, so refreshing. I've only had my new car a week, and so far so everything is great. They provide the first four oil changes for free in their shop. Pretty neat for such a small business. They've recieved various dealership awards from well known online automobile websites, not surprising and have a high KBB dealership rating. read more

I baught a car from them 6/28/2023 when I had the 1st oil change on it I had a long list of issues that needed to be fixed. I called the Warrenty and they were able to get it fix but one part 4 X 4 they no longer make this part and not able to find this part, I spend $900 getting my care fixed and still no car t I had to pay for a car rental and its been over 30 days and still have no car. Now they want me to make another payment? for what? I have no car!!!! I hate this place!!!!!! They all lie!!!! read more

I have bought a few cars from Too Hot Motors and I cant recommend them highly enough. Will runs an amazing business and is a pleasure to work with and everyone in the office is friendly and easy to talk to. They work closely with a few local credit unions for financing and just like any dealership ive been to that doesn't do their own in house financing they dont have an exact rate until you get to the bank/credit union. All of the estimates ive received from them have been very close to the final rate. They are a small team and they tend to sell their inventory fairly quickly so there have been one or two times ive stopped in to look at something I saw online and it was sold before I arrived. However based on everything ive seen on their lot I expect nothing less. Clean and well cared for cars only. All ive inquired about have full CarFax reports and at least partial service records available. Great experience buying cars from them and even though I don't need one now I find myself checking their website periodically to see if something catches my eye enough to make the drive down from Phoenix to take a look at and perhaps drive home in. read more

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this dealer/car lot. Let me first say that I should have done my research before buying a car from this dealership, but unfortunately I was in a desperate situation and needed a vehicle fast. I spoke with 2 salesmen and then directly with the owner, Will. The only question I had was if the vehicle had been in any accidents and was assured by the owner himself, that the vehicle i was interested in had a clean title and hadn't been in any accidents. Yet when I asked for the carfax(repeatedly and on a daily basis), I kept getting reassured that Will was working on it and would get it to me any day. The sale took about 1-3 days to go through. Some of the paperwork on the 2008 Jeep Wrangler I was purchasing had the vin number of a different vehicle. I overlooked this issue, brought the paperwork back to the dealer, and continued with the sale. After the paperwork was completed, I asked for the carfax once again(directly texting Will) and he had the audacity to TEXT ME A PICTURE OF A COMPUTER SCREEN WITH THE "CARFAX REPORT" that was blurry and not close-up and did not return my calls or text messages concerning my concerns with this vehicle. After about a month after washing my hands of this dealership, I decided to buy my own Carfax report for this vehicle. It turns out that the Wrangler I had just bought was not only involved in one but TWO accidents,yet maintained a clean title. After cooling down mentally about the fact that (excuse my French) I was royally screwed by this dealership, I again tried to put it behind me and take it as a loss. To reignite the fire, about 2wks later in the middle of my lunch hour,I received a text message from a former employee of Too Hot Motors. In his text message he stated that Will was screwing me over the whole time and was aware of the accidents my vehicle had been involved in and continued to sell me this vehicle without the proper inspections. WAY over it's value, I might add. He stated that he had been a part of so many scams at this dealership that It wasn't funny and would be wiling to be a witness in court if I would like to press charges or go further with the matter. The only good thing this dealership did was address the "death wobble"issue i had experienced within the first couple of weeks having this Wrangler, and replaced the stabilizer bar. Whatever brand they used must have been cheap because I've had to replace it again, within less than a year. Now we all know that when you buy a used vehicle, it comes with regular maintenance/wear and tear issues, but in just under a year I've had to pay for well over $2,000 worth of repairs. I do not drive like a crazy person and have not gone off-roading in this vehicle, people. In fact, I just had Jim Click Chysler/Jeep/Dodge check on some open recalls, and they were in shock that Will even sold me this vehicle because apparently it is illegal to sell a vehicle with recalls that haven't been address. There were 5 still open since the year 2009. This dealership and it's owner deserve to be out of business. Scum. read more

The owner of this company will rip you off he doesn't really care about customer service or anything to do with anything with a customer but getting your money he had my girlfriend drive a vehicle around for 2 or 3 days persistent on having her take the vehicle with her then when she bring it back because there was maintenance issues with not having oil in the engine block and a knock she was charged $600 for taking the vehicle off the lot when they were persistent on her taking the vehicle this place is a scam read more

I went to Too Hot Motors today and found the staff to be quite helpful, I felt no pressure at all and they were very personable, giving me Finance options, due to my credit I didn't end up buying a car, but they gave me helpful hints on how to improve my credit score so I can go back and get a vehicle that fits my needs and wants. Too Hot Motors is the best! I just bought a Chevy Tahoe and my family is loving it. We went to Too Hot Motors to check out their SUV's a few weeks ago. We were struggling with the possibly of keeping our Scion XB or to just let it go in private sale or trade in. We knew we wanted another larger vehicle, but thought we might keep the Scion as well. We decided to go back to check out the SUV's we liked and also get our Scion looked at because it was making knocking sounds (it was the strut mounts). The shop we usually went to kept telling us that nothing was wrong and that they could not hear the knocking sounds! Too Hot Motors helped us asses the Scion. They were honest and found that the shop that had replaced the struts did not replace the mounts. Along with the mounts, they found several other issues that would be giving us a problem in the very near future (plus we had body damage that also needed to be fixed). They gave us the price breakdown... we decided it was finally time to part with the Scion. They gave us a fair trade for it... really it was on it's last leg so fixing the mechanics and body was just not worth it. So we said good bye to the Scion... and we bought the Chevy Tahoe that more suited my growing family. Everyone was super awesome, honest, gracious, and very professional. I was in an out in an afternoon. My children were with us and they were also very accommodating and sweet. The Tahoe is super clean and was a great deal. I also loved the other SUV's they had (great on mileage, cleanliness, price, etc), but the larger Tahoe was better for my family. I will definitely go back to their awesome mechanic shop for now on (you guys rock)... and I plan to buy my next car from them as well.
