Even though I had a level concrete pad poured, trying to line up the 8 X 15 Lifetime shed will take 3 men at least pulling pushing and centering. The 2 back panel walls are the exact same as the side walls, the side walls all have a notch cut out at the center top of each panel, since the panels are all the same YOU WILL END UP WITH 2 HOLES IN THE BACK TWO PANELS at the top of each one, thus you have 2 holes already designed into the shed, why? You have to tape over these holes, and now it looks like crap, and these holes will have to be addressed over the "Lifetime" of this poorly designed shed. When I got the shed, it had 2 damaged pieces, I called, they sent out the 2 pieces, one was completely wrong that belonged to a completely diffident shed, yes, I gave the model and product ID code correctly, thus whoever pulled the reorder was wrong. As the shed was already started, I just used the dented roof panel on the backside. For the price, its a horrible and damaged shed that should be resigned from the bottom up. I purchased their Convertible Bench - Very solid, but.... Caution when purchasing. My lightly used bench spent most of the time in the sun at the front door. The slats began to warp - 6 out of 8 of them. Unfortunately Lifetime won't warrant the slats from warping, or the engineered design that allows them to lift over time. The warranty only covers manufacturing errors (not inferior materials, or bad design) and welding. I purchased a Lifetime 8'x10' shed from Costco way back in June of 2014. Just recently, I noticed that the translucent ridge panels had begun to leak after 10 years of ownership. Customer service is the worst. I called in to pay for an invoice (for replacement parts) and the guy there let out the biggest sigh as if he was bothered that I called in and bothered him. Then he just stays quiet on the line until I said hello? And he yells back saying he was working on my request. He didn't even ask me for my info, I don't know if he even pulled up the right info, he asked for my payment info, asked me to repeat myself 3 times because apparently he has system issues, and then he said ok I'm done, I said thank you and he said "uhhh hmmmmm" Wow I think I was confused and shocked at how horrible this customer service rep was. Purchased the Lifetime adventure castle playset. A few things to point out about this product and company. 1) Product takes about 15 to 20 hours to assemble. It is five large boxes and about a 1,000 bolts. Certain steps definitely take two to three people to assemble the product. 2) The directions are very good and pretty easy to follow. 3) The product is sturdy and as advertised, and is a good value bought through Sam's Club. 4) The only reason that I am giving a negative review is that I can't get anyone to respond from the company regarding the four missing anchor posts that were not in any of the boxes. In February I brought a Resin Outdoor Garden Shed that was torn open several times, no matter what locks or wood was screwed across the doors. With in 2 months of assembling and locking up Camping gear, tools, supplies and materials. The first time all the windows were smashed in and the doors ripped open with a lock still locked on. Camping gear gone. Wrapped another lock, breoded up the windows and door with 3 inch screws and wood across the everything. 4 weeks later, hit again, doors torn open, 3 weeks hit again. everything stolen, nothing but problems. Best of all You don't stand behind your product. You suck and your product sucks hard. Home Depot said it was the company "Lifetime Products" responsibility, Life time Products said it was Home Depots Issue. No one cares least of all the company LifeTime Products. I have always been very impressed with this company. I have bought many items from them (Kayaks, garden beds, shed, basketball stand, picnic table, other tables). I have enjoyed all of their items. We have had a couple issues with products, but Lifetime has been quick to respond and help out. We had a handle tie down break on a kayak (after 3 years). They replaced it for free, no questions asked. Recently my child took off and lost the cap that went to the basketball stand. I called the company and they mailed me another cap for free. So the name of the company is called Lifetime, my metal swing set (the welds) broke after only 3 years. I called customer service and had to pay $100 for a new part. For starters, how after only 3 years they won't replace the part for free? So I order the part and went to pick it up on a Saturday and arrived at the store at 12:15 pm to find out that the parts area closes at noon.... on Saturday? Why even open that day at all!?! We purchased a Lifetime 8x15 shed from Costco. We used the assembly service in the owner's manual to do the assembly. We are so pleased with the service. The men that were assigned had experience, were professional, courteous, personable, on-time and work effeciently. We expected the project to take 2 people about 6 hours, but were pleasantly surprise when the shed was assembled and ready to go in just over 3 hours. We would definitely use the service again. If I could I would give them a negative 10. This was delivered to my home while I was on vacation. It has a huge dent and the sides are scratched and dirty. My purchase said they call before delivery and require a signature. This didn't happen. My son was home when it was delivered. To date any attempts to contact customer service have been futile. The walls do not fit together with the roof, leaving large gaps and rendering the shed useless, since things like precipitation, insects, rodents, etc., could easily get in. The plastic is cheap junk. Pieces broke off as we tried to screw this giant pile of garbage together. I've filed formal complaints against walmart and lifetime in the hopes to get some of my money back for this, since there is no way to return it now. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Let me be clear in this review: we REALLY like the playset we got. We ordered the Adventure Tunnel Playset and I'm very happy with the quality of it. My low review is for the company itself. We ordered this playset during COVID, so waiting a little extra to receive it is understandable. However, the playset was missing a very crucial bag of hardware--hardware needed for the A-frame, so there was little we could put together without it. I attempted to contact Lifetime multiple times. Half the time, a computer would answer and hang up on me without allowing me to so much as leave a message. Another time, I was able to leave a phone number for a call-back, which I never received. I was NEVER able to talk to a customer service rep. I called our local Lifetime store, and the people there were kind, though the physical stores do not sell the individual hardware packs. The person said they would put in an order for me with headquarters. I still have not received this order. I called back later for a tracking number, but the stores do not have that information, only headquarters does, and headquarters will not answer their phone or their email. (Note that earlier in the summer I did email them with a question regarding a different playset. It took them a MONTH to respond to me.) I was getting frustrated, because the pieces for this playset were sitting out on my lawn, killing my grass, and I was supposed to host a family BBQ for my son's birthday soon. So I called a different Lifetime store and learned from an employee there than headquarters was *purposefully* not answering their phones because of the surge in demand. You had to email them. I sent them ANOTHER email. (At the point of writing this, over a month since I first tried to contact them, I still have no received a single response from Lifetime.) We did, fortunately, contact a distributor and get the parts we needed! But Lifetime's customer service may be the worse I've ever encountered, and that's including UPS. The fellow that I dealt with did not ask me how old it was, where I bought it, copy of the receipt, nothing but my name and address and where to ship the new parts (no charge). They took my information and never called back. They do not keep good sales records either. Product is disappointing. Purchased Kayaks less than 2 years ago and one is already cracked, takes on water, and now worthless. Since it is on the bottom of the Kayak they respond with "damage is not consistent with a manufacturing defect". We take extra good care of our stuff and even protect the kayaks from weather. Never been dropped or even dragged across ground or sand. This is a weak part or a defect in material. They are not as "lifetime" as they advertise. I will not be purchasing another product from them and will be trying any other manufacturer first. read more

Great customer service. I have the Lifetime folding table that we set up and store away weekly for the past six years. One of the clips for holding the legs in the folded position recently broke. I searched for the replacement part on their website but without success. I e-mailed customer care with the product info and asked for the price for the repair parts. I received a reply the next day saying they would send me the parts at no charge. I received them in less than a week! Lifetime seems to make a decent product, but customer service is not as helpful as anticipated. Received a Kayak for work anniversary gift (Selected from a gift catalog) and low and behold it had been damaged pretty badly when the bubble wrap was removed after the delivery truck pulled away from my home. Damage may have happened in shipping, or was screwed up from the Lifetime warehouse. Filed a claim with both companies and they have both refused to help. Lifetime was particularly dismissive and I am very disappointed in the service of both companies. read more

Please don't make the same mistake we did, by purchasing a Lifetime self assemble shed. The whole thing was a nightmare. Bad instructions, The scores of bags of screws and parts were poorly labeled, not labeled at all, or parts not matching the screws on the instructions. It seemed to be of shoddy construction as well. What should have taken less than 5 hours, took more than 3 of us over 12 hours. One of us is an engineer, and the other 2 business owners, so we are not particularly stupid. Things that could have helped would be some color coding on all the parts and screws. We finally got the last parts on, but do you think the doors shut. NO! That being said, spend the extra money and get a tough shed. They are great and have it assembled in a few hours. read more

I purchased backboard conversion kit 1044 and model 71526 backboard with goal. Let me preface all this by saying I read the instructions and I matched the parts to the parts list to ensure I was grabbing the correct parts. The first problem I had is that the conversion kit came with two left brackets and no right bracket. Lifetime shipped me the correct replacement part. Finally got around to my second attempt at assembly only to find that the axle that the rim mounts on was 1/4" shorter than what the parts list said it was supposed to be. Lifetime again shipped me out a replacement part. I received it, verified that its the length called out in the parts list, but after much struggle have concluded that another 1/4" of length would make it much easier to complete this step. I got the push nut onto the axle but it looks like its about to slip off. Just encountered my third problem. Tried to attach the extension arms to the backboard but the hex bolts won't fit all the way through the extension arms. The diameter of the bolts are not consistent throughout the length. I have an old and somewhat similar Lifetime backboard and goal that I'm attempting to replace. It has the same extension arms. When I grab the old but somewhat rusty bolts from the old unit, the bolts work fine so I will just use those. Not good if you don't happen to have an old unit you are replacing. Lastly, don't be fooled by the name "Lifetime Products". Yes, the old unit lasted over ten years, but the reason I'm replacing it is that the plastic (acrylic?) part of the backboard started to come loose from the frame and rattle every time a basketball hit it. I don't know where the products used to be made 10+ years ago, but now they say made in China. Perhaps this is why the quality control is poor. read more

I bought a Lifetime Tamarack Angler Kayak secondhand that was missing the deck hatches, but thought they'd be easy to replace through Lifetime, Amazon, etc. However, I couldn't find the right size online anywhere. So I emailed customer service & sent photos and asked if they carried replacements that I could purchase. I got a reply the next day saying they would send them to me at no cost. That's the kind of customer service you just don't see any more these days.
