Fast forward a few years, we had a loose rubber seal on our front windshield and were concerned about potential water leaks so I gave Kevin a call to see if he could take a look. He responded immediately and we set up some time for him to take a look. Turns out, there was no leak and the fix was purely cosmetic, but he still wanted to perform a full diagnostic just to make sure there wasn't any leaks somewhere else in the car. The good news is that everything was fine and no leaks were detected, which means his windshield fixes from several years ago are still going strong! Best part, when I went to pay Kevin for his time and effort to come to us, he said we owed nothing and that he was just glad to know that he was taking care of his customers no matter what the issue is! Well the first day it had rained since getting the repair I was driving home from work in the pouring rain using my windshield wipers of course--when my windshield wiper dramatically flew off in the middle of the intersection like it had better places to be. I went to Hampton Auto Glass to ask them if there was anything they could do and they acted completely incompetent. The guy there went on a several minute rant about how it was my fault it flew off and I must've messed with it or been touching it. Why would I possibly touch my windshield wiper? Why would I get a service if I already thought I was Miss handy women over here? And why are we acting like we've never seen a car before? He told me I could get a snake inexpensive at an auto part store to completely clear the drains and showed me where the drains are. He said he could do it for $100, but he wanted to save me $100 so he educated me so I could do it myself. He only charged me for the windshield. I thanked him for not only replacing the windshield, but helping me learn how to prevent the leak. That was really great of him for going the extra mile to resolve my issues.
