Fast forward a few years, we had a loose rubber seal on our front windshield and were concerned about potential water leaks so I gave Kevin a call to see if he could take a look. He responded immediately and we set up some time for him to take a look. Turns out, there was no leak and the fix was purely cosmetic, but he still wanted to perform a full diagnostic just to make sure there wasn't any leaks somewhere else in the car. The good news is that everything was fine and no leaks were detected, which means his windshield fixes from several years ago are still going strong! Best part, when I went to pay Kevin for his time and effort to come to us, he said we owed nothing and that he was just glad to know that he was taking care of his customers no matter what the issue is! Two years ago I picked up a piece of debris from a passing vehicle on the hiway. It struck the…read morebubble window on the front of the sleeper on my Class C RV, shattering the molded plexiglas. I pulled off at the first town I came to, found a hardware store, and bought some heavy gage sheet vinyl and some very expensive adhesive, and did my best to provide a reliable temporary patch. For two years it kept out the wind and rain, time I needed to conduct a search for a replacement window. What I found was that no one is currently making a bubble window of the same dimensions. Time get creative and do something! I asked around the RV shops in this area, and finally got a consensus that there is one glass shop the majority of them employ to replace or repair damaged glass or plastic windows in their customers RV's; Vancouver Glass. I drove over and spoke to Chris and Scotty about my dilemma. They took a look at it, and then told me how they would fix it. I decided to trust their experience and in minutes they'd removed my (by now pretty ratting looking) temporary patch, removed the shards of shattered plastic from the original window, cleaned up the glue residue, made their measurements, a put on on a cleaner temporary fix. It was all over then except for the waiting for the new window to arrive. That was on Thursday. On Monday I got a call from Chris letting me know the new glass had arrived, and set me up for the following morning fir installation. I was there on schedule and they had me drive right into the shop and got to work on it. The glass was a specialty tempered automotive safety glass with rounded corners and dimensions sized to the hole in my motorhome, made to order for this particular job. It had also been heavily tinted. Beautiful glass that I'd be happy to have mounted in a wall in my house! In just an hour, it was installed, sealed and ready to go. It looks far too rich for this shoddy 40 year old RV, but eventually I'll get used to it! The great thing is that it came through for much less cost than they had originally estimated, which fit my fixed-budget very nicely. I honestly hope that I never need to call on these guys for their professional skills and experience again, but if I ever need new glass for my car, RV, or house again, I will consider myself lucky to have these guys working with me once more. Having just recently switching car insurance companies, I was hesitant to file a claim at first, but the problem was becoming worse by the day, and I could no longer afford to wait. I immediately filed an insurance claim, which was approved, and left my car here for three weeks while I was out of town because I was told that was how long the repair would take. The mechanic who diagnosed my car was later fired, and another employee gave my insurance company a completely different story. The shop then tried to complicate my claim by turning it into multiple claims, which resulted in my insurance company telling me I could owe THREE DEDUCTIBLES. Even more concerning, an employee told me on the phone today, directly, that she reviewed my car and wanted to GET AS MUCH MONEY FROM THE INSURANCE COMPANY AS POSSIBLE. They even tried to start a completely separate claim for a DENTED LICENSE PLATE THAT HAPPENED IN A CAR WASH, despite there being NO DAMAGE TO THE FRONT OF MY VEHICLE from that incident. My car was then left OUTSIDE FOR THREE WEEKS, and when I got it back, the original repair had never been done and my paint had significant new damage that was not there when I dropped it off. I was then told that even if my insurance approved the claim, THEY WOULD NOT REPAIR MY VEHICLE. This was an absolutely unacceptable experience. I WOULD NOT TRUST THIS SHOP WITH MY VEHICLE, AND I STRONGLY URGE ANYONE CONSIDERING THEM TO TAKE THEIR CAR SOMEWHERE ELSE.

I called Vancouver Auto Glass Services this morning and got an appointment this afternoon with a 2 hour window. Nick showed up at my work on time, got my keys, and worked on my car as I went back to my own work. In less than an hour my window was fixed. His vacuum wasn't working, so he reduced my fee and offered to come back next week if I wanted it cleaned up. They are mobile service only - and they don't charge extra for showing up where you are.
