Life Time Las Colinas means a lot to me. As a Day 1 member, I've spent countless hours there over the last two years since its opening. In many areas, the club shines - its strength and conditioning equipment, instructors, and health programming are unmatched and, most importantly, I've met great people. As good as the club is, and no doubt, great things are happening there, it's really expensive - and the last several months I have constantly been questioning if I should be paying what I do. I mentioned in my first review in July I felt the club was slipping. No question I have, and deserve to have, the highest expectations for this place but that comes from them. They promise us an "athletic country club" experience and charge for it - so I expect them to deliver. Over the last year, this club has been dealing with a serious member trend related to its big ticket item - the men's rejuvenation suite in the locker room, consisting of a hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna, and wet sauna. Quite often, it's a wreck - as are other sections of the locker room. Wet towels and trash crumpled on the floor and in seating areas and in corners around this section of the club. There's sludge on sections of the floor at night after the big rush. Many of the men members of this club are acting like slobs - and Life Time isn't keeping up. I feel like the maintenance crew tries hard, but I've also seen them blow past the suite without even sticking their head in for a status check - as if they have other priorities than one of their biggest competitive advantages when it comes to amenities. I really feel like Life Time without this is mostly a four- or five-star facility - but this issue knocks it down several pegs. It's exhausting. read more

I've been a Life Time member for years and have trained at multiple clubs across the country. My experience at the Las Colinas location was a serious deviation from the standard I've seen elsewhere. In August, I had a confrontation with a trainer over a minor policy issue that escalated far beyond what was appropriate. The trainer got into my personal space, spoke aggressively, and attempted to escalate the interaction in front of other members and a client. That behavior should never occur in a professional fitness environment. I immediately escalated the incident to the training manager and later to the club general manager. Rather than implementing effective mitigation, both relied on procedural responses and repeatedly stated the issue was "handled" without taking practical steps to prevent continued interaction or escalation. Months later, I continued to encounter the same trainer regularly, including unnecessary proximity while I was actively using equipment. Despite multiple follow-ups, the training manager and club general manager treated the matter as closed while the situation persisted in practice. This review is not about Life Time as a brand overall. It is about a specific club where leadership failed to meaningfully address a serious staff conduct issue. This is one of the nicest public gyms I've been too. It doesn't get overly crowded either and the facilities are all so clean and new. They have dozens of scheduled classes everyday that cover a wide audience and fitness range. The group fitness class space that's right off the stairs on the second floor is amazing. Taking a 6 AM class and watching the sunrise is a treat and great way to start the day. The instructors are all super nice and personable - it seems like they genuinely enjoy what they do and want to get to know you on an individual level. The outdoor pool area is by far the best part of the membership in the summer. I'd consider a luxury set up with how nice and clean everything is, plus drink and food service that comes to you. Does not feel like you're at a gym at all. The only con is how ridiculously expensive it is. They offer a lot for the price, but it's hard to justify paying THAT much unless I was there for multiple hours everyday and taking advantage of every amenity. We ended up discontinuing and left, but I'd recommend touring it if you're a committed fitness person. read more

This gym is literally perfect. Extremely clean. Not crowded. I travel full time so having a luxury gym that's everywhere is a top priority and this gym covers ALL my expectations and more. This location specifically is top tier because it is newer and modern. I live closer to the Dallas (mockingbird) location and was personally disappointed in that one as it is extremely outdated. The difference in the gyms cannot be denied. I'll drive out further to go to this location. The staff is nice. It's clean. It's HUGE. I'm thankful for the private sauna area. As a woman, I want to be in a woman-only sauna. It's luxury. You can get an intense workout, or you can have a peaceful day. Or you can work there. Or eat there.. get your hair done. I have become disappointed with Life Time Fitness. I honestly would not have become a member if I had known prior the lack of classes that are available. Seriously, they offer more classes to children than adults- it appears to be a fancy daycare! I had reached out to management to request more adult fitness classes, yet the wait list for the classes is never ending. Another negative- there is an odor that hits your nose as soon as you enter the building, like sewage. They use sprays to try to mask it, but something is wrong if sewage gas is entering the gym. While utilizing the main fitness room, I have attempted to ask staff for pointers- I am continually told that they are waiting on clients and to sign up for their personal training- I only need help with what some equipment can help. Why should I have to pay extra, on top of the outrageous $240 a month?? Bye, Life Time Fitness. Way too expensive for what you offer. read more

I'm 50 and have had my fair share of gym memberships throughout the nation 2 say the least . This one tops it all . I can't believe the 1-2 star reviews they got . Obviously , they are from those annoying fastidious pions that are just like your nosey neighbors..... always looking for a reason to bitch about nothing. I absolutely love everything about this gym especially the daycare. At the daycare they separate the kids by their ages and always fully staffed. My son has been going from 10months-2 years old and he always has a blast. Out of all the gyms i've tried with daycare this one is by far the best one. read more

Front desk is extremely unorganized. I have had numerous questions about my membership and other perks that come with my $220 membership. Every time I've walked in they are always incredibly busy, on the phone and a lot of the time just conversing with each other. The facilities are top notch and I love everything about the gym. It's a nice new gym. But for $220 a month I would have expected at least one basketball court. Most Life Time gyms have 2 courts. The one in Las Colinas is the first LT gym I've been to without a basketball court. Also, they've decided to cram the sauna, hot tub, and steam room in the locker room. I have been a member of many different lifetime locations over the years and Las Colinas is a superior experience. The only thing I have found frustrating is they no longer have a member service desk. They use the front desk check-in and the experience is constant disruption and lack of expertise. read more

It is amazing that for the price you pay monthly, you STILL have to pay extra if you want a Pilates class or other classes. sometimes the classes will even kick you out of the area where you were working out even though you were there first. Great facilities. However, not very timely/organized. Attempted my first yoga class and me and the other attendants kept waiting in the room for the instructor to show up. Finally, fifteen minutes later, one of the staff comes in and says the instructor forgot and that no substitute will be coming. They didn't offer any type of retribution for wasting an hour of our time, but said we could just wait another hour and fifteen minutes for the next class. Fairly disappointed in this experience, I made a lot of changes in my schedule so that this class could work. Left a bad impression. read more
