Although I was a member of LifeTime Fitness several years ago I recently rejoined (February 26)…read morejust for the purpose of improving my health. I hired a personal trainer, Tatiana Morales, who, step by step, really turned me into a new person. I was able to convert fat to muscle, increase my stamina, improve my attitude and sleep better. On top of that, she even designed a workout program for me to follow when we were not actually having a workout session. A beautiful, clean facility, with smart, knowledgeable and fun trainers like Tatiana make LifeTime Fitness Las Colinas a great place to start improving and changing your life for the better

Life Time Las Colinas means a lot to me. As a Day 1 member, I've spent countless hours there over…read morethe last two years since its opening. In many areas, the club shines - its strength and conditioning equipment, instructors, and health programming are unmatched and, most importantly, I've met great people. As good as the club is, and no doubt, great things are happening there, it's really expensive - and the last several months I have constantly been questioning if I should be paying what I do. I mentioned in my first review in July I felt the club was slipping. No question I have, and deserve to have, the highest expectations for this place but that comes from them. They promise us an "athletic country club" experience and charge for it - so I expect them to deliver. Over the last year, this club has been dealing with a serious member trend related to its big ticket item - the men's rejuvenation suite in the locker room, consisting of a hot tub, cold plunge, dry sauna, and wet sauna. Quite often, it's a wreck - as are other sections of the locker room. Wet towels and trash crumpled on the floor and in seating areas and in corners around this section of the club. There's sludge on sections of the floor at night after the big rush. Many of the men members of this club are acting like slobs - and Life Time isn't keeping up. I feel like the maintenance crew tries hard, but I've also seen them blow past the suite without even sticking their head in for a status check - as if they have other priorities than one of their biggest competitive advantages when it comes to amenities. I really feel like Life Time without this is mostly a four- or five-star facility - but this issue knocks it down several pegs. It's exhausting.

Internal errors do not justify accessing someone's bank account. After this happened, I learned that this is not an isolated issue. Similar complaints regularly appear on Reddit, Yelp, Google Reviews, and the Better Business Bureau, with common themes including billing problems, unauthorized charges, difficulty canceling memberships, and poor or inconsistent customer service when issues arise. Because of this experience, I closed my account, will never return, and will never recommend Planet Fitness to anyone. When a business handles people's money, trust is essential--and that trust was broken. Proceed with caution.

I emptied a couple of trashcans to find and recover my bottle. After finding my bottle, I put the trash into the cans and left. A few weeks later, the club manager, Landon Mulder, call me and told me that my membership was cancelled for alleged "contract violations" citing the fact that I had emptied the trash cans on the floor to find my bottle. I am in the process of filing a lawsuit against Planet Fitness for breach of agreement. I would highly dissuade people from joining this club as there is pretty much no customer service and the club manager is an ill educated and clueless individual who clearly has no idea what he is doing.

Unfortunately, that room has now been converted into manager offices, and the class has been moved to the gymnasium--where half the court is still used for basketball during our session. It's noisy, distracting, no mirrors or proper sound system, and simply not the environment we signed up for. To make matters worse, several popular classes have been cancelled or relocated, and the locker rooms are consistently smelly and moldy, which raises serious concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. Many of us are considering canceling our memberships. We've voiced our concerns, but the management seems indifferent. It's incredibly disappointing to see a community-focused organization disregard the needs of its members like this. I hope the YMCA reconsiders these decisions and starts prioritizing member experience again. Part of a lengthy email response regarding the changes at the location: "The changes happening within the branch are certainly big ones, and I can see how, without the full context, it would feel like space is being taken away from the people who make the Y what it is--our members. What I hope to share is that while we are repurposing Group Ex 1 into office space, this shift is a reflection of the YMCA's growth as an organization, not a step away from our mission. Our team is expanding because we're serving more families, more youth, and more community programs than ever before. That kind of growth means we need more behind-the-scenes support to keep it all going--but I absolutely understand how it can look like a loss on the surface. I know that doesn't replace the feeling of losing a room or restore the exact layout that once was, but please know--this is not a step away from our members. It's a step toward being able to support even more of you. That includes exploring ways to maximize what space we do have, and yes, continuing to look at long-term growth opportunities in and around the building. We truly value you and your feedback. These classes are about more than just fitness--they're about community, connection, and joy. We're committed to keeping that alive, and we're so glad you're part of it. Thanks again for being part of our Y family."

Just came back and didn't see much difference other than the closed down basketball are which I'm fine with maybe there will be less lockers break ins. They added a new functional fitness area there. The restrooms are all screwed up the doors either are to close to the wall to close fully or they are to far from the wall to close so the doors never secure. The tile looks the same as before dirty. The lockers look better they have been fixed and updated. Most of not all the machines look in working order.hacent seen sauna before it was really nasty and dirty thet posted that it was suppose to get renewed with new wood hopefully they upgraded it. As usual the floors are dirty with hairball no one ever gear cleaning. LA FITNESS yall want to jack up prices? For what exactly? Closed the coppell gym for about 8 or 9 months and our membership is going up there smh. I will say its still better than Planet *crapness* Fitness but not worth a spike in dues. Also just noticed they took away some of the equipment and added stuff that was really not needed. Individual bicep, triceps, and leg curl machine are gone. Those some of the best machines if you suffered from injuries on certain body part. Oh and 2 of the stair machines are busted still. 1.2 million maybe on the new club in coppell but Def not here. Maybe a few thousand dollars on remodel. Showered are still nasty AF! *Restroom stalls 1 outa 10 crazy work *Showered 0 outa 10 *New fitness are where basketball was 10 outa 10 *New astro turf area 5 outa 10 who asked for a "tire flip machine".
