My husband hurt his knee during the one week freebie (needed 3 mths PT, scans, the whole nine to fix). We told the instructor that we decided it wasn't for us 4 days into the free week. My husband opened the app and it instructed him to accept something in order to see what was on the app. Apparently that signed us up. We called the instructor again and told him we were not going to do the classes and my husband had to see a doctor. He told him he had to contact CS which was a joke and uploaded a letter from my husband doctor. They said they cancelled his membership but would not give him a refund. I just now checked the CC transaction history and they have been charging us since oct of last year..... During Covid (6mths)..... unbelievable. We don't really use the CC so we didn't think to look up the transactions. Now I'm going to have to call the bank and report it as fraud. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFO DURING THE TRIAL WEEK!!!!! Update: Beware.... Reported it to the bank and have requested a refund about 20 times from Camp Gladiator with only computer-generated responses. Made phone calls and still nothing. This company is a fraud save your money and join a reputable gym with an actual trainer. 152 complaints on the better Business bureau website of similar grievances. Even did the online chat and the woman admitted that they cannot give more than one month refund for any reason... Even fraud. Horrible horrible business model.

I couldn't do any more of the weightlifting so I went to get on the treadmill for the last 20 minutes and she wouldn't let me saying that was not part of the Class. All I wanted to do was get on the treadmill and walk, so I just left because I didn't feel like complaining Over I like this place, but how foolish is it to tell paying customer they can't wind down on the treadmill for the last 20 to 30 minutes when they have no energy left

All the staff and instructors are super friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. There was even an instructor doing all the workouts with us which was motivating. Usually there are iPads with instructions for each station. However, there was a bit more people in the class I went to, so the class was split into 2 large groups with alternating stations. They did their best to keep everyone socially distanced and encouraged masks when not in class. All the instructors wore masks! Definitely check this place out if you're wanting something challenging, but fun! All you need to bring is a good attitude, water, & boxing wraps for the gloves. If you don't have boxing wraps, they are available for purchase for $8 traditional wraps and $12 for the finger fast wraps. First class is FREE :)

However when I went into the studio to cancel my membership just a few weeks ago end of January 2023 I spoke with Kayla to cancel my membership. She was so kind and encouraged me to at least give them a try again because they have a whole new staff since I still had access to the studio till the end of February. I thought it over and decided to give them a try and went to a class hosted by the trainer Cody and it was like Night and Day I throughly enjoyed the class and his encouragement that it reminded me of why I wanted to do this kind of workout in the first place. So when I went in for my second class I had the pleasure of meeting Nick the GM and spoke with him before my class and after my class I chose to cancel my cancellation which they informed me I would keep the price I had been paying. Today 2-15-23 I knew I wanted to add another Rockbox workout to my week. Today the trainer was Silvio and he was as awesome and amazing as Cody. Silvio took the time to show me proper technique in both weights and boxing. He was also extremely encouraging even when I was losing steam on the weights he just told me "you're doing great!" I was able to ask him some questions after class about fitness and his recommendations which isn't always easy to ask and admit you need help. They have been so welcoming and encouraging that I'm throughly enjoying my happiness journey and looking forward to seeing how I can change with their classes. If you're on the fence I highly encourage you to give them a try because they do understand that everyone is at a different fitness level and won't force you to go beyond what you can do but they will encourage you to do more.

The owners do a good job of notification during recent weather events and have been responsive to preferences for certain class offerings. Hoping to help others make informed decisions about signing up. If you want to cancel, you need to give a 30-day written notice. Meaning, you may end up paying for an extra month even if you aren't able to use it. When I signed up I was told that I just needed a 3 month commitment and could cancel any time. Seemed fair and clear enough. Long after my 3 month commitment, I tried cancelling my membership a week before it was supposed to renew, and they told me I would be billed again. They said it was in their sign up waver that you need to provide 30 day written notice from when you want your account to be inactive. I tried explaining my sign up experience and how I wasn't told about this policy and was led to believe I could cancel at any time after my three month commitment. They said they normally do tell people about this policy and that it's standard for boutique gyms. Aren't boutique gyms supposed to provide better care and customer service? It seemed like I wasn't believed or they just don't care. And that was that. Hoping to help others save their money!
