It was time for me to reset the clock and do things different. But I knew I needed help and Rachel got recommended to me and I met with her and felt comfortable that she would be the right person to help me on my journey. I worked with her on a 3 month program that was initially geared to make better food choices while on the road and get more knowledgeable on nutrition while she would hold me accountable. Due to Covid19 things changed and other challenges e.g. lack of physical activity came up. Nevertheless, the knowledge and tools as well as the continuous consulting Rachel provided guided me through this phase with weekly weight loss goals and sometimes a pep-talk if needed. Just by changing my macro nutrition content and the caloric intake I was able to shed over 25 lbs. in 3 month with basically no loss of muscle. Working with Rachel was great, she is very knowledgeable and attentive to clients' needs but what distinguishes her from many others coaches out there is that I felt she really cares about you as a human being and understands that even failure can be a success if the right conclusions are drawn from it. She was always patient and encouraging but at the same time was clear on the goal expectation. I can definitely recommend her. Other major issues: Filthy Floors: The court floors are rarely cleaned. They are incredibly dusty and slippery, which is a massive injury risk. For the price of a Life Time membership, the floors should be pristine. Wasted Space: There is plenty of empty flex space in this building, but management refuses to use it. They would rather kick basketball members off the court than use the other areas. Zero Maintenance: They'll spend money on pickleball instantly, but they won't fix the basketball hoops. We are left playing with "kid-sized" balls or cheap gear that belongs in a daycare, not a premium fitness club.

I took the 5:30 A.M. class this morning before my run and boy am I glad that I did!! I got a total body strength training workout and I'm already feeling the soreness as I type. If you are looking for a true community of fitness minded individuals this is IT. Plus, there are all sorts of running trails in the area (for my running peeps) so you could make it a double dose. But you can tell the instructors really care about the community here and are genuine and that is something that is so crucial when choosing a fitness program.
