I called and asked "is free really free? Like $0" and told i need to speak to a coach. First red flag. Why not answer a simple question? I sign up for a coach to call. The coach texts and refuses to answer question until we meet. We play phone tag and I get another coach. Phone consultation and at end of call they want me to Come in. I say "I've seen ur negative reviews online. I need to know if free or not." She had ignored the question several before and that's when she tells me it "CAN BE" free. Whoa! Then why the false advertising I ask? O- I heard we had a wrong flyer out there with an error. "I have nothing to do wuth advertising. I just answer the phone." She proceeds to lecture me on the fact that I must not be ready for transformation if I don't want to pay. Just horrible!! The other coach that we had been playing phone tag with me also texts me some elaborate story on why they lie on their advertising. Sickening! No need to be deceitful if you have a good product/ service! I literally was looking to pay a trainer and if they do 1/2 of what they claim it's worth it. Take ur business elsewhere. Horrible business practices

This studio has plenty of space and there's never any issues getting a spot in a class. There's so many options at all times, which makes it really convenient for fitting into my constantly changing schedule. My favorite thing was that there was no initial membership fee to join unlike other studios in the area. The instructors are also very attentive and accommodating. They make sure you have the right form and are willing to work around any physical limitations. I don't think you could go wrong taking a class with any of them. My favorites are Tricia for a lower level class, Nara for an intermediate/higher level, and Julia G for the more advanced, high impact classes. I would recommend Platinum Pilates to anyone interested in pilates, no matter the experience level. I've only been to this Lewisville location and not the new McKinney one, but I'm sure that studio is great as well.

After 2020 brought a myriad of new chapters in life (both professionally and personally), I figured…read moreI might as well embrace the concept of change in every aspect of my life. So I set out on an unbiased, objective search to find a new gym. I visited them all: the luxurious mega-gyms, the strip center types, the low cost models, the old school Rocky V gyms, the workout warrior "boxes," and everything in between. After seeing an ad on social media for Precision Fit Labs, I figured I would check it out. Considering most of my experience was strength training in a traditional gym (push, pull, legs, repeat) I have to admit my perception of PFL was a bit "skewed". Now in my 40s, I knew I was no longer young and stupid in the bulletproof and invincible stage. However, I wasn't ready to give in to all the new fads springing up all over DFW. Needless to say, Donnie (owner/trainer at PFL) completely shattered all my misconceptions. After a week of working out with him I realized just how subpar my previous workout regimen was. I didn't warm up properly. My form was a bit sloppy at times, which contributed to periodic muscle strains. My flexibility was atrocious. I didn't properly pair strength training with aerobic/cardiovascular activity. And, quite frankly, I had forgotten how to have fun while working out in a more accountable setting. Fast forward to current day, I now wonder why it took me so long to enter the 21st century of fitness. PFL is now family and I've never felt better. My energy levels are sky high; I've gained some flexibility (still a ways to go though); my muscle tone and core are more defined; I no longer have those minor "ailments" that make me feel my age; and I actually enjoy the culture and camaraderie of working out with other people again. I can't recommend Precision Fit Labs enough. The equipment and gym are state of the art. The people are great. The trainers are knowledgeable and adapt workouts to the individual. For as challenging as 2020 was, I'm thankful it brought me to PFL. Onward!
