It's not even busy but if you need a towel hurry

Lifetime has not been able to maintain the workout floors. You can see here there are 3 or 4 towels available for the members at the most expensive gym in the area

Just so this is clear, this place deserves 2 stars and I have to give it a 1 because it's overrated. Pros: Spacious, and probably the only gym with enough squat racks/deadlifting platforms. Hot tubs, pools, steam room, sauna, are all pretty nice. Machines are typically always working or repaired very quickly. 5 bench presses is the perfect amount. The lockers are lovely. The staff is very friendly, and LifeTime should consider themselves lucky they have someone as talented as Brian Ribero on the personal training team. Cons, and there are many (so buckle in management): Good luck going swimming in the pool. 4 PM on a Tuesday? Swarms of children - it feels like a Nat Geo documentary on eusocial insects. Not good. What's worse, pool closures galore - my last three visits I've only wanted a lane to swim in alone for 20 mins and I haven't been able to get that in spite of waiting for over an hour multiple times. And they're certainly not giving you an automatic discount for closures even though you're only paying for this place for the amenities. My membership costs $225/mo and you can't give me a lane in one of FOUR pools? Let's make it even worse - try waiting for a lane to open from the hot tub (which I'm in alone) and here come a dozen or so eight year olds to jump in. No sane 30 year old man wants to be alone in a hot tub with a bunch of 8 year olds who are in there against the rules which are completely unenforced. I'm fine waiting, even - but life guards do not enforce limits on swimming time for other members. The members here are indeed annoyingly entitled. So when you try to engage with the member that has been swimming lackadaisically back and forth for almost an hour in the same lane, they will dismiss you because they have a behavioral problem. This is also the only gym I've ever been in where someone has refused to work in if they are occupying a machine where there is only one (of which there are far too many). I have also been sexually harassed by children in the locker room while changing into my bathing suit. "Nice ass," they say. $225/mo and you'd think there wouldn't be multiple hoards of (presumably) teenagers swarming several benches, and yet... Life finds a way. Also, of note, many members wear very offensive articles of clothing ranging from graphics depicting trans women as monsters to, verbatim, "nobody likes a vegetarian." The staff are far too complacent in dealing with problematic members, probably because you have 8 people working during peak hours. Have heard slurs of many types out of the mouths of multiple members far too frequently. The food in the café is marketed to be healthy, but it is mostly devoid of anything I'd want to eat as a vegetarian. Indeed the poor quality of options here reflects negatively on the brand of the gym. The guest policy is also far too restrictive. 2 per month with a 60 day cooldown is absurd. The seated shoulder press rack is literally begging you to injure yourself - as a core component of bodybuilding routines, this is unacceptable. Other gyms, such as Impact in Auburn, have adjustable racks for the barbell bench and barbell overhead press so that you don't have to strain trying to get into form. 1/4 of the price and I'm feeling like that rat's nest is more luxurious - not a good look. The sign in process for guests is also belabored, but, the front desk are normally nice enough. There are too few of them however. I have noticed the decreased headcount as what I'm sure are budget cuts. And that's disgusting considering the cost of being here. I will say that if I weren't one of the biggest people in the room, I would feel somewhat unsafe here due to poor membership quality, understaffing, and little effort to ensure a respectful environment. All of that can be tolerated, but I will say what is absolutely inexcusable : quality photo opportunities for fitness progress are near non-existent. Figure it out. Even the most cramped gyms have a place for photos the don't involve taking a picture of other people. Final verdict: Maybe nice for a visit, off hours, in the dead of winter, but definitely not for a lifetime.

a very good place for sports, you give the children to the children's room and go in for sports yourself, swim in the pool, do group classes, etc. Everything is done for the comfort of a person.

Everything we ordered was incredibly flavorful, beautifully plated, and far exceeded our expectations. You'd never guess a restaurant inside a pickleball club could serve up dishes with this level of quality. Everything tasted fresh and thoughtfully prepared -- no shortcuts, no "sport-club food" vibe here. The drinks and desserts also deserve a special shoutout -- they've crafted some really fun, one-of-a-kind items that tie into the pickleball theme in playful and creative ways. As for service, the staff was incredibly warm, attentive, and well-trained. We will be back!

We ended up booking another court when our time expired since we were having such a good time. They could definitely enhance the experience by adding dividers between the courts to prevent balls from rolling over so often, but other than that, we had a nice time. If we're ever in the area again, we'd definitely come back!

The rest is - -music (on/off, selection and volume) has always been questionable -locker rooms (at least men's) are very bare bones -the weekend opening person (at least previously) would typically show up to open anywhere between scheduled opening and 20+ minutes late -Management sold a previous price increase on going to 24 hour operations and new equipment coming in. 24 hour operations was short lived (not necessarily their fault even if poorly executed) and the new equipment didn't show up for nearly a year and even then was marked "for use with mgmt approval". -while understanding the need for "survival" through Covid, the membership (while closed) and mask (when opened again) policies were questionable. -Cardio equipment is extremely limited. Metfit has increased their membership price past their value at this point for what they offer (excepting only if you really want to work with one of their specific, admittedly great trainers).

I found Impact through a google search and was intrigued by the small group personal training format and decided to give it a try. From the moment I first contacted the gym, Peter was incredibly attentive and made sure to understand my "why" so that he could best support me in my fitness journey. Classes are certainly difficult, but not so hard as to leave you feeling defeated which I appreciate. Peter & his team are willing to put as much effort and time into your journey as you are! I am now 20 weeks pregnant, and I couldn't be more grateful for Impact throughout this process. It has made me stronger and leaner (until I got pregnant) and now has left me feeling strong, capable and MOBILE over the last 20 weeks. I can't stop saying how great I've felt so far throughout this first half of my pregnancy and I attribute a good amount of that to the type of work we do at Impact. As a runner I was looking for a workout that would help me strengthen my running not only thru…read morerunning drills but also an all body workout. Plus coaches who were knowledgeable enough to help improve form and be supportive without trying to control very last thing. And I was looking for a gym/program/studio that had a community and actively fostered it. OTF Natick has been the perfect location and has the ideal team to give me what I need when I need it. It says something that members themselves have evolved into coaches who know the ins and outs of working thru a 60-minute workout. While the running drills on the treadmills are my 'bread and butter', it's the rower and the floor where I get the biggest benefit. The routines are varied day to day. Different focus and different personal challenges. You're never trying to keep up with the person next to you (although everyone I workout next to inspires me to go a little harder). The strength and endurance workout on floor and rower push me and improve me every time. By the time I get on a tread (I do this last to practice running fatigued), I'm warmed up and able to push myself that bit harder. Recent results? I've decreased my road miles from 20 to about 12 a week to do the OTF Transformation Challenge at the moment. So most runs are 1.5-2 miles in the 3G classes I typically do. Last Sunday participated in a 5M race I've done for the last 6 years. Beat my best time on the course by 15 seconds. That's the results from OTF Natick But what makes the studio hum is the energy that the coaches bring into every class. They have built (I've been a member there for 3 years and workout among many who've been regulars since the studio opened) a real community feel to every workout. There is the mingling pre-class, the class outline with what to watch for and highlights (and possible lowlights). In class warm up, station by station walk thrus and in-block encouragement. But what always amazes me is the way the coach spreads their attention to the details of every participants workout. Not by crowding in on an individual or calling people out from across the room. Just the subtle, quiet hint or tip on how to fix form or increase a challenge. Always encouraging. Always celebrating. The studio under Jam has elevated an already great atmosphere and community feeling to new levels - creating a communal atmosphere thru social channels (the recent Transformation Challenge Miles Logged week had people logging miles at all hours of the day in an effort to boost their team score) & notes of gratitude for staff and members alike in the studio lobby. If you're like me, you want a gym or workout that doesn't intimidate. That challenges you to your next best level. And that lifts you when you need it, celebrates when you win the smallest of achievements, and embraces you for who you are and what you bring to each class. That is what I've found at OTF Natick and with their top team of coaching and support staff.

I initially took the elite package ( 8 classes per month ) with the aim of taking up two classes per week as I had a gym membership at another gym as well. I went for a couple of months and I really started enjoying the classes. I always felt all the coaches kept motivating me to keep pushing and I kept improving in every class. Once I was done with around 16 classes I thought of upgrading to the Unlimited classes package with the aim of going to at least three classes per week but I ended up going for at least five classes a week. I never thought I would be able to come this far when I started otf. The classes are planned in such a way that you never get bored and you are always challenged to give your best. Many a times I come to the class thinking I should take it light but the moment the class starts I feel motivated. So far I had attended all the classes like 2g, 3g, lift 45 and every class is so unique and helps you to focus on cardio as well as strength training. Currently I am doing the transformation challenge and I make it a point to stay consistent and I feel otf has really improved my endurance and strength in general and keeps me active throughout the day. Special mention to my coaches Sarah, Nikki, Marissa, Jam each and everyone is amazing and sometimes I feel it's more like a dance class than a workout class . Our studio manager Nicole as well as the folks in the front desk are so welcoming. I definitely recommend otf Natick to anyone who wants to add a healthy and a fun fitness journey into their daily routine.
