I believe in the near future my group is planning to make a switch with a fam account. So walking in you have a nice concierges who check in your member and or guest. Everyone was really nice and accommodating. My brother has a membership and brought me to the second floor. They had all the equipment you'd probably need we did leg day. Lotta cables, smiths, assisted. Saw the basketball court (didn't see the pool) went to third floor checked out the spin cycle room and yoga studio. Went to the turf area for push sled and squat racks. Def has everything for the most part. Would come back again. Very spacious. Some of the machines seem to have quite a bit of years on them but as long as they work, it's all good. The locker rooms were huge, hot tub sauna and steam shower at this location, no cold baths that i saw. I think with the different tier solo and fam plans plus access to pool, hoops and unlimited classes, it makes sense it's cost, just wish it was lower like in some other markets (states) haha. I spoke with…read moreAngel on the phone to discuss my goals, recovering from a multi-year shoulder injury and getting back onto the path to powerlifting, and we set up an in-person consultation. The consultation was quick and thorough and we set up a plan of action to get me back in shape to lift heavy again. It took a while but trusting Angel and the other trainers here was the best thing I have ever done. I want to say it took about 8 months of recovery based training with the semi-private training group but I no longer have the chronic shoulder pain that I first walked in with. Since coming to Boston Underground Strength Training and going through the recovery training I have competed in three powerlifting meets and have been performing better than I could ever imagined thanks to the excellent programming and coaching provided here. Without Boston Underground I would never have been able to recover from my shoulder injury and probably would have had to give up on my favorite hobby. I get the fact that PF Natick is a franchise operation but why isn't PF Corporate getting involved to help??? The place is a mess and disorganized. Someone should take it seriously. Here's my updated review: I reviewed PF Natick about a year ago but since then, it's gone downhill. My main complaint has to do with the cleaning stations. Someone decided to remove some of them and reconfigure the whole setup. As a result, there is one paper towel dispenser and one bottle of cleaning solution for the entire weight machine area in the front. Then, to discard the paper towel, you have to walk to a waste basket in a different location. It makes no sense and in fact, it's leading to people to avoid cleaning the machines because it's too disorganized. Secondly, they installed some sort of small computer screens in the men's bathroom which are attached to each of the 3 faucets. These apparently are there to show ads, kind of like the screens you see at gas pumps. The only problem is that the screens interfere with hand washing. I go to PF Natick because it's closer to my house but I'm going to consider going somewhere else.

At the prompting of a dear friend from my old gym to try Upperkuts, I did and have never looked back. I was not interested in any fancy "chain" gym, but rather a legit boxing gym. A.J. is the best, most compassionate and caring business owner. He has made a successful home to people from every walk of life and fitness level. He's constantly improving and introducing things to the gym for the betterment and enjoyment of everyone. I have had classes with Coaches Tony, Adel, Amy, Dylan, and Bianca, and every single class has left me challenged and sweat-soaked. From beginner to knowing boxing, there is something here for everyone.
