I have been at Crossfit Cut in Walpole since Memorial Day, May 2013 and my body and mind are…read morestronger than ever! I'm going to be 57 years old soon, I am an avid runner and attended the gym faithfully four times per week, but I got to the point where I was just going through the motions. I knew I needed more, something different, and thanks so my son's encouragement to try Crossfit I've found it. Alicia and Brad, the owners at Crossfit Cut are wonderful, they get to know who you are and your personal goals so that they can encourage you to achieve them, and when you're ready to push beyond. You don't have to want to do it all or compete with others in the gym; it's all about the personal achievements you set for yourself and driving towards those goals. This weekend I'm competing in a Crossfit Challenge -- with 9 of my fellow gym members. I think you could say I'm hooked! I encourage everyone to try this gym; I know you won't be disappointed. CL

Wow! Not what I expected at all! I was overweight and…read moredesperately needed to get in shape. I had heard of Crossfit and saw all the videos of crazy athletes online and I knew that wasn't me. I also knew that I hated running and would get bored easily at a regular gym with eliptical and weight machines. I needed something new, so figured I would go to Crossfit one day, just to check it out, after all, it was free. Brad and Alicia had me do an intro session. They were extremely informative and seemed to understand when I needed encouragement and when I needed a breather. They teach and enforce proper safety, strategy, form and technique. They even taught me about proper nutrition and diet! Brad and Alicia are not only knowledgeable, but they are passionate at what they do. To this day, I'm not the fastest of the group and I'm certainly not the strongest, but I am 50 lbs lighter and much healthier than I was. I feel younger and am able to do things that I never thought I would be able to do again. Mission accomplished. Thank you Brad and Alicia!!

In August, before my sister's wedding, I booked an appointment at this salon based on a friend's…read morerecommendation. I was very specific about the techniques and cut I wanted and was assured they could handle it. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had been switched to a "more experienced" stylist. Her previous client was unhappy with her color, so instead of focusing on my appointment, the stylist kept going back and forth, working on that client's color while also cutting my hair. She completely ignored me, barely consulted with me, and kept insisting the haircut I wanted "wasn't that hard," as if I was making a big deal over nothing. The result was a terrible haircut that was not what I asked for at all. At first I thought I might be overreacting and tried to give it time, but months later my hair is still completely messed up and uneven from that cut. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, especially before such an important event. Terrible customer service and I would not return or recommend this salon

Poor Experience - Unacceptable Customer Service…read more The massage itself was good, but everything that followed completely overshadowed the experience. After my service, I paid with a $150 gift card at the front desk. The employee, Jane, ran the gift card multiple times and even said "third time's a charm," then told me I was all set to go. Based on that, I left. Shortly after, I received a call saying there was supposedly only $10 on the gift card. I explained that the card was for $150 and that I had been told I was all set after it was rung in multiple times. I answered the call and also called back to try to resolve the issue responsibly. The general manager, Samantha Goy, called me. Unfortunately, the conversation was extremely unprofessional. She was rude, aggressive, and would not allow me to speak. When I reminded her that I was the customer and was trying to explain what happened, she responded, "That's not how this works." Despite explaining that:    *   I was told I was all set and cleared to leave    *   I did not knowingly leave without paying    *   I had already contacted corporate by phone and email with no response Samantha Goy accused me of nonpayment, claimed I left without paying, and threatened to file a theft charge with the police if I did not immediately pay--while they still have possession of my $150 gift card. I repeatedly stated that I would never intentionally leave without paying and that I was actively trying to resolve the situation through corporate channels before settling any remaining balance. None of this was acknowledged. When I asked to speak with her manager, Sean, I was told he would not speak to me. This interaction was demeaning, hostile, and completely unnecessary. A simple billing issue caused by staff error should never escalate into accusations and threats. I am beyond upset by how this was handled and expected far better professionalism from a business of this caliber. So disappointing.
