Thank you Trevor for the speedy e-mail (within an hour after I reserved my spot for this PALS location) because I was able to immediately find a place to take my PALS after getting cancelled by EAcerts (a PALS location in Glendale) the night before. Taking PALS in this location is affordable and has plenty of parking spot. I will add that Kriss Rizo is a very kind instructor that will go over real-life videos with you and analyze initial assessments of the patient's condition. I needed to renew my BLS & I was running out of time to do so. I came across this place while doing a google search and I am so glad I did! It was only myself & another girl, but our instructor Chiedozie was fantastic. It wasn't some boring class where you sit and just watch videos, it was interactive & fun and it went by really fast. I totally recommend this place if you're looking to get certified in BLS. My trainer was Trevor and he was awesome! The best part of my class was that I was the only one in the class so it was one on one training! Just do it! I almost don't want to share this because I love small class rooms and Chiedozie keeps you interested and the class moving! I'm a RN who needed my ACLS/BLS renewed ASAP! LSC had so many classes available and right in my same town, checked their reviews and thought I'd give them a try. Every part of this team was helpful and patient! I had forgotten to do the simple online registration before leaving to work, so I called in and she took the time to answer my questions and took my information to register me while I drove. Upon arrival I was greeted by Chiedozie, an RT with a wealth of knowledge in the medical field and absolutely wonderful to learn from, he was on-time and on point for everything. The room was stocked with snacks, coffee, water, and a much appreciated clean restroom! The room was well light, the chairs recline and are comfortable. Chiedozie always made sure that the board was visible for all. He even brought out a space heater to accommodate a classmate. Overall a comfortable and pleasant experience I WILL do again for my PALS and future certification classes. The other classmates that day had come on recommendations of friends from work. ACLS renewal today; This company was well equipped. Trevor was a great instructor who ,explained in detail, any changes to the AHA guidelines, new algorithms, physiologic aspects of some of the patient conditions that I've been treating for years; yet somehow missed or overlooked. I had a really good experience! I thought Trevor was funny and he had a lot of insight. I took the BLS class for health professionals. I expected it to take a long time but it was only about 2-21/2 hrs and the time passed really fast! I think maybe because there were a couple cancellations so there were only 4 of us. The structure of the class was watching an instructional video (about 1 hr 18 min) and then pausing in between sections of the video to practice ourselves on the mannequins. Afterward, we took a written exam with 25 questions. The answers were mainly points highlighted in red in the instructional video. I would recommend taking a small notepad but it's not difficult to remember if you keep repeating it to yourself in your mind. I had a hard time finding the location as well because you can't see the address from the street. I would recommend turning in at the 1326 building and then driving down until you get to the 1336 building. They did have some directional signs once you were inside the lot which helped confirmed I was at the right location. Also, at my location, Claremont-Montclair, this offered the best price for the BLS for health professionals class. I paid $50 but other nearby locations were generally $70-$85. read more

Kinda small, hard to find. It's not directly off monte vista you have to go towards the back north of the complex to find it, but quality instruction, efficiency (approximately 2 hours depending on the size of your class) and comfortable learning environment. Cheidozie was a great instructor, humorous, easy to work with and passionate about saving lives. What I especially liked about this place was being able to register last minute and take the course on the same day with printed card in hand-which was especially helpful since my previous AHA BLS was expired and work was giving me grief for it...25/25 on the test, w the help of a great instructor.
