I had only done my BLS,ACLS AND PALS through KMR for over 10 years when my new job wanted me to go through another competing education group to renew my ACLS and BLS, they didn't do them together like I had always done it, so I returned to KMR for my BLS. They are the best! I will always go through KMR even if I have to pay for the classes because they offer so many classes, different options for CEUs and their teachers are the best! Key medical used to be a run well some time ago. However, their approach has changed dramatically. They are demanding everyone pay for New books with no room to adjust to people's needs. They provide vague information for their classes and then pursue requirements by harassing students on their personal phones. After choosing them for over 10 years for my educational needs, this relationship has come to an end. Their business practices are extremely over the top as evidenced by them holding certificate over students not buying books through them. They claim sharing books is not allowed but you can't find this anywhere in their emails. Be really careful taking classes with them. Healthcare employees normally have a lot on their plate. No need to add the extra stress. Find alternative companies for education. read more

If you can take your class with TY, he's dope. Anyway if you're in the medical field or work in a hospital it's inevitable you're going to need to renew some licenses and certificates or need to top up on your CEU's so you can keep your licenses. Key Medical has been pretty good to me whenever I need to take these courses. It helps that they have classes in many locations and on many dates, so it's easy for me to find a class that will suit my needs. They usually scare you with how long the length of the course is, but for the most part you should finish ahead of schedule by at least an hour or two. read more

Zero stars. Had to buy a pals book for the hands-on portion. Did not even open the book once, what a scam! By the way the hands-on portion was maybe 30 minutes. So $40 book plus a $15 card for 30 minutes? Ridiculous. read more

Have taken several courses through Key Medical and have found them all very helpful and educational. Recently took a cardiac dysthymia class with instructor JC and found him to be an amazing teacher. He kept the class moving and on point throughout. I was never once bored. I would highly recommend classes with Key Medical and if you can pick JC as an instructor you are in good hands. read more

First time renewing ACLS, PALS, BLS with them. I renewed my PALS at ICC in Covina but actually renewed my PALS/BLS at this location. Off the main road located in a building suite. They reserve some parking spaces for their students but I noticed some ppl parking on the curb next to the street. Classroom setting was there from 10am-5pm. The instructors are knowledgeable and take their position seriously. Yes it is long but tolerable. Personal experience, it was a nice refresher. We did mock codes and took turn being the provider. No shortcuts here aka fast track. They really prep you for the exam. My copay was $15 which pays for my cards. Enjoyable tolerable experience :) read more

I absolutely love this place! The owner, Terry, is such a caring and well organized person. I attended the LVN blood withdrawal course. The material presented was not boring. I was so tired but was able to stay engaged. The Instructor Laurie was amazing. There were two other instructors there to check off our blood draw skills. They were both phlebotomist and shared their techniques and were awesome at assisting us. They were patient and took their time to make sure we did blood draws safely and efficiently. Overall the experience was great. The environment was encouraging and welcoming. The facility is clean and beautifully decorated. I will definitely be back and I highly recommend Key Medical Resources. read more

I needed to update my BLS certification and take my ACLS course as a first timer and decided to use Key Medical Resources due to the COVID 19 virus pandemic class room attendance was closed. So, they offered Zoom platform classes. I never did Zoom before and had some issues setting it up. I called Terry and she called Paula the IT expert and I was Zoom connected and ready to go days before Zoom class was to begin. I enjoyed Zoom classes for both my BLS and ACLS class. All of my instructors Ty, Christine and Leonard were awesome. They were knowledgeable, calming and funny with so much patience. I needed a little more help and after the class I reached out to my instructors and received additional help. They all received five stars from me. I will definitely be taken more courses from them in the future. I do hope that Key Medical Resources continues to use the Zoom platform as an option for taking courses. KEY MEDICAL RESOURCES is my number one place to go for CEUs. I'm an RN, and I've been going to Terry Rudd's company for years - her classes are excellent, and low stress. Students must buy the books and study the concepts because the written tests are difficult,and not every one will pass the first time through. You have to know your material in order to be AHA certified! I took my CPR and ACLS class yesterday with Ty Yik, at Foothill Regional MC in Tustin. (January 27th 2017). Ty was extremely knowledgeable, and has a vast amount of great information to share with you. He presented mathematical facts supporting the new 30:1 compression to ventilation ratio, and how that helps to build the intrathoracic pressure needed to save a life! Ty cited many different research articles that support the new CPR and ACLS guidelines. He comes well-prepared on the topic that he teaches, and you will leave knowing more than you did when you first walked into the classroom. KEY MEDICAL RESOURCES offers many different courses throughout Southern California. If you are short on time and need to book a CPR and/or ACLS course before your deadline, please give KEY MEDICAL a chance! They have AHA approved videos to help keep you interested throughout the day. They have good manikins, and you are required to practice the skills of CPR and ACLS through the day. The hours may seem long, but the content that Key Medical presents is interesting, fast moving, scientific and there are always those changes that come along due to scientific and medical research, as per the American Heart Association. What is wrong with businesses these days? I was interested in taking a course and texted the phone number listed to ask if there were any seats available, and got no response? Is this how we conduct business? Well I will take my 400$ elsewhere. As a small businesses they should realize that they are not the only choice, oh and FYI if you're not going to respond to someone turn off the show when text messages are read, you find it under settings. I have taken a few classes through this company and every one has been great! I've been in the medical field for 22 years and have experienced my fair share of awful CEU courses, so it's nice to find a quality source of classes like Key Medical. The instructors I've had were all professional yet friendly and very knowledgeable. You can attend classes at their office in Rancho or at one of their affiliated hospitals, which is very convenient.
