Standard of care for results of trauma CT is 15 minutes. It has been five days and still no report. The only thing I got out of them was that they thought that I might have cancer on the abdominal CT, then nothing in spite of numerous calls. I had an abdominal CT in 4/24 at the hospital a block away. I told them that they needed to compare the two CTs. They did not think that it was in their job description to do the comparison. With my 5 rib fractures, I had to drive to the hospital, wait for them to burn a CT, take it to Hunt and wait for them to copy. Now, five days later, I am still waiting for results and concerned about the possible cancer diagnosis. The staff was courteous, but the radiologist(s) were lazy and negligent.

E-sign off before your appt is done upon arrival. I had a very short waiting time. Technician that did my mammogram was very sweet, thorough and made me feel relaxed. She also provided me info from QR code which was very helpful. The whole appointment took less than 30 minutes and I was on my way. Appt. time was at approx. 1:30 on a Wednesday. Definitely recommend as they do the 3D mammogram.

The tech that performed that scan refused to give my mother oral contrast because the scan was ordered STAT and "they don't normally do oral for STAT CT scans." I am a CT Technologist at a large hospital in Dallas and it is common practice to use oral and iv contrast on a base line abdominal scan especially for abdominal pain. This tech jeopardized my mother's diagnosis because she didn't want to take the time to give my mother oral contrast for an hour. If the order's STAT status was an issue, then she should have called the ordering physician to notify a delay and/or have him change the order to urgent. But any tech doing a scan on their own should be aware of how to protocol certain exams based on symptoms and diagnosis. Very subpar service. Hopefully the scan shows enough information to give my mother insight on her intestinal ailments.

She never for once made a statement that showed she believed anything I complained about. She kept insinuating that it was in my head and the employees did not engage in unprofessional behaviors. I told her that if she does not have camera with sound on it then she cannot verify if what I am saying is wrong. She was not there and did not go through what I went through. I have never felt so uncomfortable before in my life and I did not deserve to be mocked and made fun of. All I did was come in for mammogram and was humiliated and used for amusement. Instead of staff working they were preoccupied with socializing and fraternizing. This is unacceptable and management should worry about retraining their staff and maybe employing more professional ones. Instead they don't feel their staff is wrong in anyway and think the customer is the problem! Took her back the next day and turns out she had a UTI and Strep, was prescribed meds and never sent them to our pharmacy. Called multiple times the next day and still was not called in. Continued to call the next day spoke with a guy nurse and said he would call it in, still nothing it has been over 48 hours. This facility has no management or charge nurse on site. I pray no body dies because of the incompetence at this ER.

Back in January I was pregnant and had over 108 fever with horrible symptoms, had to wait 45 minutes in the waiting room while I was hearing the nurses laughing, and complaining about how sleepy they were. After finally getting seen they didn't even want to do an ultrasound nor collect any samples to check if my health was good or the baby's, Left me in a room in pain for 3 -4 hrs just to tell me to drink Tylenol. Left paying over $400 and no solution. So I went to another ER come to find out I had an infection and got prescribed with antibiotics. Fast forward August this year my newborn started chocking once again due to this hospital being the closest one, took my baby's here she was literally purple and struggling to breath waited for about 20 minutes, the nurse took us back so he can just tell us the doctor will be here soon, the doctor didn't show up until 2 hrs later. If I wasn't lagging my baby constantly and keeping an eye out on her. I don't know what would've happened and already being there. This place is very unprofessional, their work ethic is horrible. Working at ER without wanting to actually help patients is beyond irresponsible. Do better.

After struggling for months to find a GI who would even see me, and have been sicker than I could ever imagine my life, I was blessed to be able to be referred to Dr. Maddala. Even during my first visit with her, she took me seriously. She is very knowledgeable, patient, kind, listens and allowed me to voice my concerns and considered them in my treatment plan. Upon our first meeting, she knew that I was in a lot of pain and sickness and immediately scheduled a colonoscopy and upper endoscopic at the same time within a couple weeks. She even found that I had other stomach pain issues that I was not even aware of and put me on the effective treatment plan to solve them. Soon after I had my upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, she waited till I was awake after the procedures and gave me all the information and pictures to show me what was wrong - Crohn's disease. Though my other issues we are still working on getting resolved and into remission - I have a pretty aggressive flare up of Crohn's disease apparently, I am finding that this is not a quick fix-I feel Dr Maddala is doing everything she can to help me.I feel extremely blessed to have her as my GI and feel like I am in good hands! Dr. Maddala and her staff are always willing to help me with my medications and concerns, always call me back within the day, always give me my blood work results promptly, and always take me seriously.
