Have to give a huge thanks to Marcos and Carlos for the embroidery and showing support for the fire service, thank you guys!

Went in to buy some hats. Sales staff was very informative and helpful. This Lids seems like a smaller store and there wasn't too much variety or assortment of hats. No deals currently in store but there was up to 60% off online. It is Upstairs between Macy's and Ashley home store. Stop by, they might have the hat for you. read more

A few weeks ago, my husband and I called around to try to find a local store that had a Chiefs jersey in stock. When we called this location, they answered the phone and a friendly manner and helped us quickly and put the jersey on hold for us. About an hour later, when we went to the store, we were greeted by Josh and he helped us through the process of purchasing. He was very friendly, very personable, and made shopping here, easy and rememberable. Thanks Josh! read more

If i can give this place zero stars I would. First off, when I walked, no one came up to say anything to me. Granted there was one employee in the front, but still. I asked the guy in the front a couple different questions about hats and he was giving me one word answers like a damn robot! Personality was as dry as my mouth after I'm done running. If you don't like your job and want to be mute, go be a sign spinner. Who does the hiring? Customer service was atrocious that I left, even though I was willing to buy something that I like read more

The services was so rude the whole team. I know cause there were a lot people but however you guys need to be more patience with the customers. read more

Very poor customer service at this location, not only did i call before driving this way to make sure they were still doing the Kobe patche's on the hats, just to take all the time driving here, having my 3 kids with me and trying to pick a hat out for 15-20 and the guy sees me in full Kobe gear, just to tell me they wouldn't do my hat. Then he says that he's taking paying customer's which I'm obviously paying for the hat and the patches but still tell me no, i asked when i first walked in about the patches and it was ok but once i shopped and was ready to pay he now says no? You guys shouldn't tell people over the phone that you guys are doing it only to be disappointed about not being able to purchase my hat or get my kobe patches . I'm glad you guys are doing this but not handled well by your staff. read more

I came in looking for Chicago hats, solely snapbacks. The two fools working there starting talking about dp. The one of the yells out double penetration. Made me freaking pissed. I Walked out not buying anything, cos I waited to buy a Chicago bulls golfer hat. But they were so deep in their conversation about double penetration they wouldn't even look my way at the register. Put the hat back and walked out. read more

Got a hat engraved here, they did a terrible job. The stitching is sloppy and they said they usually have that issue with the blue, but failed to mention that before I paid. read more

This Lids is TRASH. I walked in today 9/14/21 to buy a new Dodger hat for my husband at 11:39. First thing, no one greeted me nor asked if I needed any help. There are no sizes posted on the front where the hats are stacked. I asked the two losers working the front for help, one named John short Hispanic and his sidekick tall Hispanic. John legit looked at me and said "No sizes are posted you just have to try them on." This is why John works at Lids getting paid minimum wage, because he will never be better than sitting behind a counter on his phone. Customer service here is 100% awful. Lids, please hire someone with at least enough customer service skills to say hello. read more

1/21/2022 11:40am, wanted to get a hat & embroidered for my Son. "Trash customer service". I couldn't hear the salesman over his gangster rap music playing thru the store. I had to ask him to lower it so I can hear my wife. After making us wait 45 minutes, he said he could not find the logo they have on the window display. I asked for management contact number, and name. Said managers name is "Kush" 1562-714-6783. I'll let it sink inn!!!!!!!! read more

I came in to exchange my hat for a smaller size. Chris, the guy working there was very unfriendly ; barely acknowledged me coming into the store and didn't seem to care at all about me making conversation with him. This isn't my first bad experience here either. The two or three other times were just as negative. I usually go to the LIDS at the Spectrum. They're super friendlier there and actually appreciate you shopping there. read more

Not sure who's running this place but I just went in to get a 2020 Dodgers World Series Hat. Guy working there says he has them but I have to come back at 5pm because they're not in the system yet. Really? How is it not in the system yet? Someone clearly isn't doing their job right. If the hats are in stock and in store there should be no reason he can't sell them. Just thought that was horrible customer service. If I was the owner I'd be furious. Not to mention the 1st game of the World Series starts today @ 5pm.. read more

They would make more money if they bothered to greet you at some point before a transaction is made. Pretty lousy customer service, which would be acceptable in a ridiculously busy store. Unfortunately I was the only one in there. I stood in front of a display for 5 minutes and was never acknowledged. I was ready to buy stuff too. I'm glad there are other hat locations in the mall. I have them 1 star because they had good merchandise. Location manager isn't doing their job ;-) read more

I had ordered two of the same hats for a trip to Milwaukee. I had my first order shipped to the store and once I got the tracking number realized that the hat might not be in store before I left. I ordered the hat again and had it paid to be shipped to my house. They called me when I was leaving to let me know that my hat was there. I told them that I had bought the same hat on a separate order and was leaving out of town. The customer service was on point, I left and came back and went into the store a little over 3 weeks since they called. I walked in and said I needed to return a hat that was shipped to the store. The guy said he knows all about what happened and they were waiting for me to get back. They credited my card and everything went very smooth. It was awesome of them to remember my situation and were quick to get me taken care of. read more

Came in yesterday 1/30/20 to get Kobe embroidered on my hat. Said it wasn't going to be done for another few hours I understood and left it alone. I Paid the 4 extra dollars for it to be a particular way I wanted and PAID for. I called this afternoon to make sure it's finished because there was a lot of hats being done. I'm guessing the manager on site answered the phone with a nasty attitude and asked me to call later??? Then asked what time I ordered and paid for. said it's not gonna be done for a two weeks he's busy that he had to get back. I took my chance and came into the store with it finished and not the way I paid for. The man tManager still has the attitude. Told me I can get a refund only for the 4 dollars. The man that checked my order out didnt fill in purple and gold. If I'm paying for a 44 dollar hat and paid for something extra. It's needs to be the way I asked for. read more

Great customer service and VANESSA is the girl who knows her hats! Thank you because yes their is a difference to a spring training hat and a batting practice hat which two Irvine kids employees failed to know. Bad reviews here don't matter 10star for me. read more

**AVOID THIS STORE** Purchased a hat online to pick up at this store. Received an email saying that it was ready to pick up. Go to the store, wait in line and once I get to the front I tell the cashier,a guy named EDGAR who's behind the counter, that I was there to pick up my online order. He asks me did you receive a call, no and no where on my email does it say to expect a call! He turns to a guy doing the embroidering and asks him are we still doing calls for online orders. The guy has now idea. EDGAR goes to the back of the store and comes back empty handed. He proceeds to tell me that online orders require a call from the store to confirm it's ready! Like I said no where on my email did it state this. He said sorry it's a corporate issue. My response was that it's not my problem, I received a confirmation I want my hat. He asks which hat it was, he takes one off the shelf and puts it in a bag for me. I'm under the impression that he would just give me this hat and process it later. WRONG!!! He says I have to pay for it in the store and get a refund from my order! WTF!!! I had already paid for it. He refused to give me the hat even though it was the one that was supposed to be pulled aside for me! I left pissed. I contacted their customer service and they contact the store and low and behold EDGAR is willing to give me the hat! I don't ever want to go back to this store again! EDGAR is an idiot! I wasted my time fighting the holiday traffic and holiday shoppers just to be sent away without my purchase!!! read more

Great customer service! The employee took his time with us as we were trying to get an embroidered cap as a gift for a family member. The employee was very busy with multiple customers but we still received the attention we liked! Will return :) read more

The 5 stars is for the Manager guy. YOU ARE AWESOME. I truly believe this guy takes customer services VERY serious, and he kicks ass at it. During Christmas time, I went and found a hat, line was long, or just slow, so I told an employee id be back after my shift (I work in the same mall) was over, and to hold it for me. they said no problem. When I came back, I waited in a long line (no ones fault, it was Christmas time, so that shit was paaacked) and no one could find the hat that was on hold for me......................OOOOOOOOOOOOK... and I literally had NO IDEA ANYMORE what color it was, or anything, I just remember saying to myself "woo hoo, found one" so....I tried browsing around...couldn't seem to find the one I had found before...I was really bummed out..and I left....I told my boss, and some friends about it lol, cuz I was super bummed, Im really picky at hats I buy, and was like, well, at least I tried, and ill just look online, even though if I order one, it wont come til after Christmas, cuz this was like, day before xmas eve. :( The next day at work......*****THE LIDS MANAGER GUY COMES IN and hes like hi...not sureeeee if it was you or not, but I think it might be, you had a hat on hold that no one could find? well it was in the backroom for ya, and ive got it if you still want it? YAAAAAAAAAAY yes yes yes, I went and bought it. but WHAT I THOUGHT WAS INCREDIBLY NICE, was that he took the time to walk over to my work, DURING CHRISTMAS EVE (if u work in the mall, u understand, that means BUSYYYY AS hell) to let me know it was still there!!!!!!!!!! :) :) GREAT, EXCELLENT, WONDERFUL SERVICE. read more

The worst customer service!!! The two staff that closed today were horrible!!! Answered customer questions with an attitude if they hate there job that bad you shouldn't be working in retail. Instead of letting customers know they are closing in a couple of minutes they said I'm warning you, you have 3 minutes. I was going to purchase a couple hats but only ended up buying one because of the way we were treated. read more

Just left this Lids location. Seriously, like 2min ago. Walked in there, no greet or anything. I start browsing through some hats and checking out sizes, no help offered either. I was looking through the NFL area (limited variation of teams btw), and not once got offered any help. One big guy was doing some stitch work, and a smaller dude was just overlooking. I make my way over to the MLB hats, the NBA ones, and by this time, I'm putting on my "confused customer" look. Again, no acknowledgement. I then walk back over to the NFL side, just to see if by now their brains will process some sort of customer skill. NOPE. Still nothing. So I just walked out, got on Yelp, complained, and I will now just go online to find what I'm looking for. read more

After researching stores to buy a LA King's hat, I stumbled across this Lid's yelp, and it's reviews. Hot and cold reviews based off of customer satisfaction at this store. Some claim it has the worst service ever. Some claim it has the best service ever. Were the negative reviews exaggerating the truth? Are the positive reviews fake accounts that the business made up? So I ended up going here to see for myself. The guys here seemed genuine. Not facade-nice like most stores, but these guys were just chill and easy to talk to. Great! I'm not giving it 5 stars due to lack of selection. 2 kinds of hat for the Kings where as 20+ styles for Ducks (we're in Anaheim territory so I GUESS it's justified) HAH. Anyway. The associate screwed up at the register making check out take a while and you could tell he was confused. But he took care of it anyway, so now complaints! It's a decent store. People need to calm down in the review section. read more

I have been to this store twice and both times have been meet with far less than mediocre customer service. They do not bother to greet you until I just so happened to make eye contact with one of them...Anyway I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt since the first time there were a lot of customers in the store but in hope to catch different reps working there I visited them again after work and i picked up a hat that i didn't see in my size and proceeded to ask the rep "if they had anymore sizes" and before i could finish my sentence he mutters: "that is the last one we have, what you see is what we have" ok no biggie im fine with that but what is NOT ok is cutting someone off as that is just plain and simple rude. I went on to ask him if he could call another store to see if they had it, and he begrudgingly did it. I went to the Lids store at the Block and was greeted promptly and had a great customer experience. Check out my review for that store. Quite frankly I would not recommend any friends or acquaintances to this Lids Store. read more

These guys are terrible. Thieves. Employee outright stole my order. DO NOT SHIP HERE FOR PICK UP AT THIS STORE for online purchase. I ordered a rare Laker new era hat online to be delivered to the Santa Ana store. And low and behold the hat has vanished.
