Deez Dogs - Downtown Seattle (by the Camlin & Paramount)…read more Post-hockey game hunger led us to this little street-corner gem and WOW... Tasty! Tasty! Tasty! We ordered the Seattle-style dogs -- my hubby went for the spicy dog and I had the classic beef -- both loaded with that dreamy combo of cream cheese + grilled onions. Absolute late-night comfort food perfection. Hot, messy in the best way, and exactly what you want after cheering on a Seattle Thunderbirds 4-1 win . The service? Just as good as the food. She was super friendly, chatted with us while we waited, and even shared local tips on how to save money around the city -- which made the whole stop feel more like talking with a friend than ordering from a cart. And the setup is adorable -- a true street-corner hot dog cart right by the Camlin Hotel and Paramount Theatre, easy to find and perfect for a quick downtown bite. If you're out late, catching a show, leaving a game, or just craving a legit Seattle dog... this spot hits the mark. Will 100% be back!

Pretty much all the sportsbars and restaurants nearby were packed, so we decided to just walk to the Arena and eat inside. Then I noticed this little hotdog stand. The lady running the store was extremely nice, especially to my daughter (which always wins extra points from me!). I of course ordered the Seattle dog. They had various condiments and toppings available on the side including ketchup, mustard, sauerkraut, pickles and pickled carrots. It was just the perfect amount of food with lots of flavors. After we were done eating, we came by the stand to grab some napkins and the lady asked us how the food was. I thought it was a nice gesture. She really didn't have to say anything and she had quite a few customers in line. She was able to multitask and provide excellent service to every customer. This is a hotdog stand. There are no tables. Condiments and napkins are all self-service. Each hot dog was $12 (this already includes sales tax and tipping is optional). I highly recommend if you are here for concerts or kraken games and want some good food that won't cost you an arm and a leg inside the arena.

It's a baked…read morepotato (with layers of crema, cheese at the bottom) topped with their signature red sauce, cabbage, onion, and of course the finely chopped, smokey carne asada. The tomato sauce, like many reviews have noted, is more like a marinara than a salsa. It works really well with this particular dish. At first, digging into it, I didn't think much. But when I scooped the potatoes, which absorb a lot of the flavor and fat of the cheese, and piled on some of the tender, otherwise somewhat underseasoned but nicely charred carne asada, the flavors melded in absolutely heaven! The carne asada managed to be juicy and tender, despite being finely chopped. Again, this shepard's pie type of dish really takes advantage of mixing together all the finely chopped ingredients. I highly recommend getting this if you're going to visit! The lime wedge and salsas feel essential too. I don't know how I feel about packaged salsas - the green and dark sauce were both delicious and maybe packaging it seals the freshness. But I guess if they're going for ultra fast prep and scale it makes sense. The dark sauce is smokey, like a less sweet and deeper version of mole. The choco chip and almond cookie is also excellent. It's very sweet, and the edges caramelize and are crispy due to the amount of sugar. But it's a decently balanced cookie and loved the almonds in it.
