My wife and I were traveling home from Cape Cod and decided to spend the night in White Marsh. After checking online reviews for restaurants we decided to give Lib's Grill a try which was only 3.5 miles from our hotel. We were not disappointed. We had Vas as our server who was exceptional in making us feel welcome and attending to our needs. At her suggestion I ordered the pork chop and was glad I did. It was one of the better ones I have ever had with a very good presentation. My wife ordered the rib eye steak and was also very please with her choice. Well where does one start. Me and my wife are new to the area so we heard the libs was great. I am sorry that is not true. Let's start from the moment we walked in the we noticed there was about 15 tables open. The hostess say we need reservations but maybe work is in. Then he said she had a place but we only have one hour to eat and we have to go. ... crazy right. But we did it. I wished we didn't because it would saved us over price subpar food with service that is what I would expect at a McDonald's. So let me tell you about our experience. My wife ordered a steak and I got a pork chop. ( let me digest the pork chop was good.) let me tell you about the rest of the rushed experience. So my wife steak comes out still alive. I mean this thing if it seen the grill I would be shocked. So she had to wait about 20 for the waitress to even come back to say how that a lot of blood. But my wife the trooper said ok make it right. And we would been fine if that is where it stopes but all no. When the assistant manager comes out says sorry. Bring it back and now the same old bad steak it's now like leather. She said okay she wasn't going to say anything but it didn't stop there. She asked for steak sauce and they came out with exp A1 bottle that was empty. So after that She ask if she could get new and some butter. I tell you what I don't know I would think we would been on a hidden camera show. He came back with less the. A tea spoon full of steak sauce and one cube of better and said that all they had. Now keep in mind that this a grill AKA known for steak. So my wife being a lady just didn't eat anything. They came and said for the steak dinner that my wife couldn't eat and the debacle of our date night in our new town. They offered a 5$dessert. I telling this place is a joke. Terrific bistro! We ordered mussels, brown sugar bacon, deviled eggs, poutine and a wedge salad. All were delicious. My favorite dish was the mussels. The sauce was amazing and I ate too much bread with it, but I couldn't help myself. It is a fun place to hang on a Saturday night. Amazing! We stopped on our way home for dinner. We called to inquire on the wait time and was told about 20 minutes. We waited closer to 30-35 minutes. For most that would be a reason to give a bad review, however the staff was so kind. The manager came to our table to apologize for the longer wait and gave us an appetizer sampler. Totally unexpected. Our food was delicious! The waitress was so kind. My fiancé's food came out wrong. Again, not a big deal, they promptly fixed it. The manager again came over to apologize. There are worse things in life. The place was very clean, their cleaning procedures were some of the best of seen. This place has great food. We stopped here during restaurant week and were able to get a table at the bar. They served the full menu! We got the short rib poutine, it was amazing! I had the scallops, which were delicious and my boyfriend had the meatloaf which he said was really good. They were really busy and seemed to have some extra staff. For oyster lovers, every oyster aficionado I've brought here raves about their selection and taste. Oh, and the pretzel bread is awesome. For me it's about the service. I've been waiting a long time for a legit restaurant that takes pride in the creativity of their menu to open out in the 'burbs. Ever since Lib's Grill opened its doors, I've never been disappointed with their offerings. That being said, I had one of the most GLORIOUS chicken pot pies of my life over the weekend! Their fish tacos are LIFE! I was looking for a place that was close by to our evening activities and saw that Libs's was 10 minutes away, so we gave it a shot. I'm so glad we did. Everything we had was amazing! I ordered fish tacos, the fried Brussels sprouts and the mushroom ravioli. All delicious. My husband had the crab cake platter and the cakes were really tasty! I had decided to try this place because of the bottomless mimosas. Came to this restaurant excited to try the new COVID-inspired outdoor Igloo dining. Seemed like something safe and different! But the igloo was a big letdown. It was a cheap, plastic bubble with rips and the heater kept breaking, leaving us to freeze outside and eventually move inside for the rest of our meal. The food and service was average. My sister, niece, nephew, mother and myself dined here this morning for the first time. Vic was our server and his attentiveness, warmth, and customer service were much appreciated. He provided us with recommendations he enjoys as well as popular items among other customers. We also had the opportunity to meet the manager, Adam, who was equally as responsive and friendly to our party. There was a children's coloring contest on the children's menu which I thought was a creative way to keep kids occupied while they wait for entrees-- my niece and nephew were highly motivated for this. My husband and I are new to the area and tried Libs Grill for the first time on a Monday night after having the usual "sooo, what should we eat for dinner" conversation. We were surprised that it was so busy at 7pm on a Monday evening. We waited 20min for a table for two, which was okay because we needed to grocery shop across the street anyways. Once we were seated, we had wonderful service, great drinks, and AMAZING food. The food came out well prepared and delicious, service was timely and polite. This is one of my most favorite spots for dinner and drinks in the area. I have never had a bad meal here. My girlfriend and I decided to try their brunch on sat. We showed up when they opened and were seated quickly. We ordered the sausage egg and cheese sandwich and the philly cheese omelet. Our food came out quick and for the most part was good. The reason I gave it 4 stars was I had no cheese in my omelet. It was good but would prob only do lunch and dinner. read more

First time eating at Lib's Grill last night and wow it was amazing! Its location is a bit random, definitely not where you'd expect to find incredible food but do not let that dissuade you. The atmosphere is very cozy, we came for dinner and the lights were dim and while it was packed at about 6:00PM on a Tuesday (great sign) it somehow remained relatively quiet. I not once felt like I had to raise my voice to hold a conversation which was great. Moving onto the food, my girlfriend and I ordered an appetizer of the Thai style edamame and the famous crab topped deviled eggs. The deviled eggs were incredible, the ratio was perfect and the sizing was just enough to leave you hungry for dinner. We weren't incredibly crazy about the edamame, it seemed to have a spice/seasoning coating and it just wasn't our thing - I think we would have preferred a soy sauce side or something? The deviled eggs made up for it so we remained in good spirits. Lastly, our dinner meals. I ordered the Baltimore club sandwich with french fries and my girlfriend ordered a steak with a truffle french fry side and asparagus. Let me start by telling you that this club sandwich is enormous. It has a generous portion of creamy shrimp salad, and the lump crab meat on top was a perfect pairing. All topped with lettuce and bacon between three pieces of toast - amazing. The steak we ordered was also nothing short of amazing, it was cooked to perfection. The asparagus had a perfect crunchy consistency and the truffle fries paired well to complete the dish. They became a bit soggy but I think that's because the steak was sitting on top, overall that's very minor and we both enjoyed our meals. To conclude, the service was phenomenal making this dining experience I'd say an overall 10/10. I'd absolutely return again in the future, most likely for brunch because the chicken and waffle dish looks like heaven. Our servers were attentive, polite and the food came out fast. This place is absolutely my favorite for Brunch. I have tried several dishes on the menu and I must say, every single item has been delicious. They have unlimited mimosas for $15! The atmosphere and staff are amazing. I'm never disappointed by my service. The servings are pretty large, and most of the time I have to take some home. They serve you fresh warm mini donuts while you wait. The menu changes every few months which encourages me to come back and try the newer items. Had a scrumptious dinner tonight at Lib's Grill. The Maryland crab soup was excellent just the right amount of spice, crab meat and vegetables. I got the special which was blackened mahi-mahi and it was perfect. It came with the most delicious baked potato I've had in my life. It was stuffed with what tasted like crab dip with melted cheese over the top. Out of this world delicious. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his filet mignon. The hot bread brought to the table was piping hot and oh so delicious. The management is extremely attentive and accommodating. I had preferred to sit in a booth but since it needed to be for a larger group the manager apologized and gave us a drink on the house.
