Their brunch menu has some classics so my friends and I looked longingly at all the items and I finally landed on the Shrimp & Grits... wait for it............................................ OMLETTE! BAAAAYYYYBEEEEEE Let me back up, I got excited. Our lovely waitress was so patient as we waited for our whole table to show up and introduced us to the $15 bottomless mimosas and complimentary donuts. DO NOT threaten me with a good time!!! Duh we got it. Who says no to fried dough?! Momma ain't raise no fool. The food looked great when it came, my cheesy grits were an awesome consistency and the shrimp and eggs were nicely seasoned. The portions were also great. In the bathrooms (it might just be the women's bathroom, sorry fellas!), they have these cards with affirmations written on there. So sweet! Rather enjoyed it. This is a staple for me and my family..they make you feel at home and always service with a smile. I especially adore the Oyster Shucker! He is so awesome to be a teenager! I met his grandmother and aunt..they are both adorable. The management staff is amazing especially the African American young lady(sorry i don't remember names often)..either way she's always been a luv from day one! We experienced a new waitress and her name is Isabella...she was great, attitude, service, promptness..a very nice young lady. I always refer this location and will continue to do so! read more

AMy friends and I ate there last night. The Maple Lawn location is far better. I got the fried oysters, which I get almost every time at the Maple Lawn location. The ones I was served at Perry Hall were swimming in grease. The one friend didn't eat his mussels as he did not like them at all; I tasted one and they did lack flavor. They did remove it off the bill. He had only eaten about 4 out of the 20. Based upon food quality, I'll stick with the Maple Lawn location, which is actually closer to me anyway. This is perhaps my best dining experience in some time. We arrived for lunch, only one other couple there. When I look back on this I wonder why more people have not given this place a chance during lunch hours. Awesome service (Ask for Lindsay) she was super friendly and attentive and made great suggestions, she really accommodated my requests as well. Food was amazing, highly recommend the fries and gravy, for only $9 you get enough for two. It not only had gravy, but cheese curds bacon and duck! A real steal of a price and oh so yummy. Lindsay recommended i try the tenderloin steak sandwich when i couldn't make up my mind on what sandwich to try. She was right when she said it was by far the best tasting one. The steak was smoky, the blue cheese creamy, it was just the most perfect steak sandwhich i had ever had for only $9 This was not only an affordable lunch but probably the highest quality I could ask for. Lib's will be a spot I return to time and again as long as I get repeat dining experiences like this. Came after a long day of mourning, and my husband wanted to cheer me up. It's restaurant week and we took the opportunity to try out this place. The wait was not too bad, not sure if it is crowded due to restaurant week, but there was a big crowd for Wednesday night. After my husband ordered his drink, the server didn't gently give him his drink she kind of slammed it down and slid it to him and walked away. I felt she could have been a bit nicer. The fish taco came out pretty fast, it was delicious and would come back for that. The deviled eggs took a while to come out that I had to bother our server to check on it. The eggs were packed with crabmeat but was dry and lack seasoning, also our entree were not that good. My fliet was not seasoned at all, and didn't care for the asparagus which was overcooked. My husband and I switched our veggies, his greenbeans were much better than the asparagus. My husband said the salmon was a bit dry, but the flavor was on point. I wish I had gotten the salmon instead. Now dessert was very good. Was shocked to see that my Raspberry iced tea was over $3! Other than that we had a somewhat good evening. I've had a great experience dining at Lib's. Waiters are super attentive. The food is always amazing. We usually always get the lobster Mac n cheese, it has nice chunks lobster in it. This was my first time at Lib's & it was awesome! The atmosphere was great and so was the food. I ordered the Mexican scramble with chorizo ( sooooo good!). I recently used Lib's Grill catering service for our non-profit event. It's the first time we used a full service catering company and wow - they did not disappoint! From start to finish it was an absolute joy to work with their team. The administrative side of things was smooth, efficient, and easy to understand, from generating a proposal, finalizing the contract, to the billing & payment - it was all organized and professional. Communication was clear and consistent. My questions were addressed fully and timely. The day of our event was flawless. The team came in and went straight to work. Because we pre-planned, no one asked me 100 questions. The team did exactly what was planned - it was a well oiled machine. The linens were beautiful, the food was delicious, the staff was kind, professional, and accommodating. At one point (just out of habit from previous events), I was trying to get tables up to get in line for food, and one of Lib's staff came up to me, smiled and said, "let me do that for you - we take care of that. Enjoy your event". The other thing I just realized, as I type this review, is that other than the bar staff (who need to be seen), they rest of the staff were unobtrusive. Everything got done, tables were cleared regularly throughout the luncheon, and yet, they were stealthy. I honestly don't remember thinking once that "geez - these guys are in the way". They dressed in black - maybe they're secretly catering ninjas ;-) I will absolutely recommend Lib's Grill to anyone who asks, and I look forward to using them again for our 2023 non-profit event! read more

Lib's Grill is one our favorites. The food and service is always excellent. They are doing a great job with the Covid precautions. We felt very safe and comfortable. Appetizers were great. Fried oysters were delicious (though a bit small for $11) and the french onion soup was one of the best I ever had. The server was quick and courteous, and made sure our drinks were refilled before the cups went empty. However, the entree I had was...off-putting and quite bland. I had the fettucini with crab. I don't know if maybe the chef forgot to put salt or oldbay in the pasta, but the pasta really had little to no taste at all. It was probably the first time I had to add a substantial amount of salt to a restaurant dish because it otherwise tasted like heavy cream and butter. The several lumps of crab didn't seem to taste like much either, so in the end I felt a little cheated out of $22 especially given how I reserved after hearing how great the place was. Maybe it was just poor choice? My dad seemed to like his crab cakes though, and the sweet potato fries were admittedly tasty. If not for the entree I probably would've given 4 or 5 star, but in the end I'm not sure I'll personally come back. The rest of the entrees were considerably more expensive too. read more

First time here. Disappointed. Party of 6, we got seated by the door. Every time someone opened the door, the wind freezed my ankles. The dining room was loud. The service was friendly and somewhat fast considering that it was the dinner rush. The table was a four top that folded out to a round table, still I felt crowded. People kept rubbing against my back and I felt like half the table was in the middle of the aisle. We ordered the bacon and eggs appetizer, shrimp and grits app and the poutine fries. Bacon and eggs appetizer, was amazing. Shrimp and grits were good. The short rib poutine fries were ok. Entree was American Kobe, Crab cakes, Lobster Mac and cheese and the Pan Seared Scallops. Our meals were absolutely delicious. I would definitely come back but ask for a different table, not next to the door. because of the door seating they get 4 stars. I have been to Lib's grill twice since it has opened. Once for lunch, once for dinner. Both times the host/hostesses have been super welcoming and the servers have been awesome- making sure that we were completely happy with the food etc. I had the spare rib sandwich for lunch and loved the presentation of the side of fries in a fryer basket. The sandwich was delicious- I was worried that the horseradish sauce wound be overwhelming but it was super tastes and balanced the meat and onions well. I had a chef special for dinner- stuffed rockfish over fresh green beans and Gouda whipped mashed potatoes (uploaded a pic). By far this was the best stuffed fish I have had at any restaurant so far. It had a wonderful taste and the jumbo lumps of crab meat were a great surprise. My fiancé had a half dozen oysters from the raw bar and said they had the best taste of any oysters he has had in the area. I would recommend this place to anyone. They menu seems exotic for the area (dr. Pepper spare ribs- my future mother in law loved them!) but it is a very nice change to the norm. All in all delicious! read more

We went on a very crowded evening and had to wait though they offered to sit in the bar area as it is first come first serve. We waited around 20 minutes to sit and that was what was mentioned when they took down our name. Once we sat down the waitress was very helpful. Went over the menu and gave recommendations. We both got a wedge salad which was fantastic. The table ordered the meatloaf and the rigatoni and neither were disappointing. The manager found out we were from out of town and came by several times to check in and even provided a sample of their desserts. I left very impressed. read more

There was nothing special about the burger and was served well done despite ordering it medium. The chicken and waffles were utterly bland- I think they forgot to use any salt. The food was just okay. I got a baltimore club sandwich (shrimp salad and crab cake club)... The shrimp salad was more like shrimp with a little mayo and didn't really develop as a salad. The service was okay, but they seemed to get a bit frazzled when it got busy. The bottomless mimosas started out pretty good, but over time they turned to just OJ and I had to request new ones. I found that different people made them and there was not just a single bartender working. I would go again and try something else and make sure i tell the server I want strong mimosas. read more

I've been coming to Libs for years now and have always loved it so for our first date night out after Covid-19 hit the area of course this was our first choice and I'm really glad we went. I can't say enough wonderful things about Lib's Grill. My boyfriend and I LOVE to come here, and do, every chance we get! They have a menu that changes seasonally but offers sooooo many delicious plates to satisfy ANYONE! They always have a different selection of oysters which has been fun trying new kinds! The best we've ever had so far is the Wellfleet. They are so salty! The atmosphere is business casual and on the romantic side. The service is always on point too. We made another stop over the weekend to Libs. Everything was perfect! Staff and food was great. I can never get enough of the Raspberry Oysters and Deviled Eggs. They are my weakness. If oysters aren't your thing, try the Deviled Eggs. I still haven't found a place that comes close. Libs nails it with the deviled filling alone! Many places don't seem to even try. So I like it here. The food is ok.. Some things were yummier than others (Mac n cheese, truffle fries). The crab cakes were tasty. I think the mashed potatoes were just average. The crab dip was ok.. Nice big pieces of lump crab but the heavy layer of cheese was solid and not melted at all.. My dad got a steak which he said was good. The mussels had a very brothy sauce. Pretty thin. I think that could have been more flavorful and served with something to sop it up. The lamb chops were average. I think that some of the food needed just a bit of extra seasoning.. With that being said, I would return perhaps for lunch or a happy hour. They brought around some peanut butter dessert shooters as a complimentary treat for Father's Day, so I thought that was a nice touch. It was a quaint, neighborhood feel.. I decided to eat here, not sure if I wanted the steak or the seafood. I ended up having the lobster macaroni and cheese. It had really good flavor and a few large chunks of lobster. They had their Sunday brunch menu and honestly it was hard to pick an item based on all the amazing choices.
