I just love that this place exists! It's the perfect little spot for cocktails and desserts. It's gorgeous inside with a huge parrot mural and chandelier, but also a bit dark and moody at the same time. If you are coming on a weekend you probably want to try to grab a reservation, but both times I've popped up, I've had no trouble getting seated. The server was very friendly and had plenty of recommendations. They have both cocktails and NA drinks. The cocktails are fancy and not your average, though they lean toward mainly tequila and mezcal. They also have classic cocktails available if you aren't feeling adventurous. The desserts are really fun - full of different flavors and textures. We wanted to try everything, but settled on the Toxica and Para Mi Papa. The Toxica was basically guava passion fruit sorbet, but the smear of house made strawberry chamoy gave it a fun kick and the cornflake crunch was the texture it needed. We both really enjoyed it. My favorite was the Para Mi Papa, a delicious take on carrot cake. The orange cream cheese frosting had me questioning why all carrot cake doesn't come with orange cream cheese frosting. The miso spiced ice cream gave it a little salty note that just made the whole thing sing. I was sad to be sharing this one. Definitely a great spot to stop in with some friends or after dinner.

I absolutely love this place. It is very comfortable and quiet. The decor is awesome and the food is even better. If you want a hearty meal, this is probably not your choice. This is more of an after dinner, show, concert or a night out. This is the perfect nightcap with your light fair of food. The desserts are absolutely incredible. I would definitely stop in and take a look at this place. This is the little what my wife calls a jewelry box. I was able to meet the owner while I was in and she's incredible. Very good work ethic very good customer service.

I've heard such great things about Libre since they opened back in mid 2023. I love the concept of a dessert-only cocktail bar! (They do actually have some savory snacks and zero-proof cocktails too.) The intersection it's located on is super happening, so it's a wonderful spot to stop after a movie or meal. The bar is dark and vibey and romantic. We ordered two desserts and a cocktail to share and it was great. I'll be honest that I forget exactly what we ordered, but it was all delicious. I'd re-order both desserts but there's so much more menu to explore too! It looks like they change up their menu every so often. It's clear there is lots of thoughts behind each menu item, though, alluding to cultural flavors they're playing off of, a dessert named "Para Mi Papa" or 'for my dad,' etc.

4.5 stars - Japanese and Mexican fusion cocktail bar. We walked in without reservations at 10:30pm, just about last call for drinks as they close at 11:30pm. If you're looking at drinks posted here, they did an almost complete menu overhaul. For drinks, we got the Sleepless in Tokyo that's like an espresso martini, the Jiyu which is very fruity and strong, and the Sangre de Dioses that is a mole milk punch that is super smooth to drink. I particularly liked the Jiyu the most and was glad that there was a lot of liquid to slowly sip and enjoy. The cocktails are mezcal forward but I'm glad they experimented the drinks with Japanese influence where they added plum wine, etc The -0.5 star was solely my expectations of the Sangre de Dioses assumed to have a nice ice decoration like the other pictures but it was just a few small ice cubes. But I wouldn't dock off a star just because the drinks are so good! If I come back I'd like to try their elaborate dessert menu, but coming for just the cocktails was still a fantastic experience

I've been here a couple of times now and have had a great time. They have some wonderful cocktails to try. R this visit, we wanted to do something different and did a Mezcal flight. We did the "One Night In Libre" flight, which included - Vago Elote, Nuestra San Luis, and Rey Campero Tepexetate. All the were fairly unique and new to me. It was a pleasant experience and I need to try some of their food next time.

This was a unique and very cool Experience. A must go if you're out on a date night, perfect way to end an awesome night. Service was friendly and the chef was great! The birria has been slow cooked for ages and had a great Smokey flavor. The desserts were decadent without being overly sweet! The building is gorgeous and it's in a great neighborhood! Spread the word, it's a unique place and a must try!

Beautiful decor and ambiance. Small little place but it's very cozy. I love the vibes here. The cocktail list is out of this world good and the desserts are tasty and super interesting! Will be back!

Super cool cozy mezcal focused cocktail and dessert spot. The desserts are beautiful and very flavorful, combos you wouldn't think of. Bone marrow caramel ice cream on a mole crème brûlée (Vale la pena) - yes! Black sesame, ramen crunch and plum gel with your chocolate mousse (Oishii) - yum! Green tea panna cotta, Madeira wine, honey smacks crunch and strawberry whip crème (Kyoto lemonada) - divine! Our server was attentive, accommodating and very helpful. Glad the daughter recommended and we got a chance to visit for a special birthday!

This is such a cute spot for drinks and dessert! Both are absolutely beautiful in each concoction that's presented. The dessert portions are large, definitely big enough for a few people to share. I'm a huge dessert lover, and even I couldn't finish one dessert myself! The ambiance is classy but casual, with small tables and a booth circling around the space. The bar is big and fun to watch them prepare the drinks and desserts. Out of the desserts we got, I especially liked the Amor de mi Vida, which was a biscoff cookie cheesecake. It was rich and sweet, but didn't feel too heavy. The cheesecake was super smooth, so the crunchy elements were nice touches. Between all the desserts, they were all so different and unique - there's definitely something for everyone here.

Super excited to come check this place out after learning that they specialize in fancy desserts and drinks. The inside is chic, fun, and intimate. Great music too! We didn't try any drinks this time around, although all of them sound intriguing, but we did sampled three very unique desserts. The Love of My Life was a creamy cheesecake with biscoffe cookie base. I love the texture and flavors of this dish. The cinnamon toast crunch was a fun addition. The It's Worth It was probably the most novel dessert out of what we got: mole creme brulee and bone marrow ice cream! The mole worked super well in the creme brulee. The bone marrow ice cream was savory and surprising. Gotta try it out for yourself. Lastly, the El Principio was delightful with plays of textures and layers while showcasing corn as the main ingredients. I felt like each dish was so wonderfully crafted and has their own story. They take you on a different eating experience. Definitely will be back to try others! Love having such a unique spot full of personalities in town. Owners and staffs were very nice and helpful.

Libre is an entire mood; dark, sexy, sleek, and packed with finesse. Smooth in reservation, getting seated, service, and food coming out quickly and fresh. Cocktails were well crafted and beautifully balanced. The only sad part is that they were out of the cheesecake which I had been very excited to try.

Cute cocktail bar with tasty drinks and delicious finger food. We came here while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. Service was very friendly and they helped wrap us up quickly as soon as our table was ready elsewhere. This means we did not get to try the desserts. But I have heard nothing but good things so will definitely have to come back next time.

One thing that bothered me though (and I know maybe I'll get hate for this), is I feel like some of the decor is tone deaf. They have a bunch of colonial men ceramic decor, but they partner with and serve food from a Filipino company. I'm Filipino and it was a bit offensive to me because even if the point of having them is trying to make fun of them, it's not really funny. We were colonized for over 300 yrs and still deal with the trauma from it. Please consider removing the colonial decor. I really enjoyed the bar and want to enjoy it in the future, but I don't think it's necessary to have those things in the bar and doesn't add anything to how cool the bar is apart from that. UPDATE: the bar messaged me. They were super professional and kind in their response. I really appreciate that they were open to my perspective on the colonial items and said they will be removed. Thank you so much!! Looking forward to enjoying the bar in the future
