No, not inside the Library Bar, but right across from it inside the hotel is a diner called 25 Degrees, the food is pretty good!

When I called yesterday, I was told tip is included in the drinks and they are in the $18 range. I will know for sure tonight...

At one point, it was just the two of us and the bartender, which made for a relaxed and intimate atmosphere. I unfortunately didn't catch her name, but she was incredibly welcoming, kind, and made us feel right at home. Sometimes the unexpected spots end up being the best finds! We'll definitely be back next time we're in the area. Highly recommend stopping by!

We have also ordered fries at the bar and they are not only well seasoned, but they also have a crispy coating. The staff are all super attentive, professional and know how to create a great ambience for a good night out. There is valet parking. The bathrooms are pretty clean too!

The wait staff was super nice and the service was prompt and attentive. I went on a Monday, right after they opened at 5 pm, it already people sitting at the bar. The crowd was very chill, very typical Echo Park low-key characters, quite a few seemed to know the staff well. The food and drinks were all fine to me, I had a couple old fashions, my girlfriend had a specialty drink with brunt orange something, she liked it. We tried the chicken thighs, fried green tomatoes, and the chicken biscuit. They all were good, my only issue, the chicken biscuit item is not served on a biscuit like I was thinking , its just on a sandwich bun essentially. Overall, I would go again maybe on a Friday or Saturday night to see the difference, if any of the crowd and vibe.

The bar staff know what they are doing and they are welcoming, chatty and chill. It feels like they actually want you there! My wife and I already love to swing by for a couple of post dinner drinks but we'll be back for some game day fun too - they have a bunch of screens. They don't do food BUT the couple who now own Her Little Bar also own a bunch of the restaurants nearby (Her Thai, Met Him At A Bar, and the recently opened The Night We Met). There are other great options too and whatever you go for, you can eat it in the bar. There's a good selection of drinks and the cocktails are solid. We already have a solid pub/microbrewery but this is a great bar with a different vibe. A bar has been in this location for years but we really love this new incarnation. The corridor between Wilshire Blvd and W 9th is becoming a great pocket for food and drink with good people looking for BS free good times and the Her Little Bar crowd, staff and management are a great example that. A welcome addition to the neighborhood.

But that being said ... the membership that you get for purchasing bottles doesn't meet expectations. I have spent upwards of $1000 in bottles over the last few months and that has given me a little bit of a membership. Well, we went in for their newest addition, the devil's quarter, and all was good until the end of the night. Well we're given a limit to drinks at the post show bar. Me, having a membership, thought oh maybe we can stay another hour and have a drink at our favorite place... nope apparently members are only allowed to have fun on Tuesday... so I guess my membership is irrelevant because it's not a Tuesday (when I usually work), not to mention the $500 in bottles I now have to walk around with to find another post show hangout because we were no longer allowed to stay. I would love to be able to spend more at the post show bar but the speakeasy part looses its value if it's limited to even its members.

The atmosphere is immersive, theatrical, moody, and every nook and cranny of this place is beautifully detailed. Our group embraced the requested all-black dress code, and I was a little disappointed that some other guests didn't play along. When a place puts this much effort into creating a particular world, dressing the part really does make the experience more fun. The spirits themselves were excellent. We tasted vodka, whiskey, and rum, and all three were remarkably smooth, interesting, and clearly very high quality. I loved that the tasting was guided rather than just having drinks dropped in front of us. The storytelling and presentation made us pay attention to what we were actually tasting and gave the evening a nice sense of progression. We also happened to be there while comic artist Matt Harley of Marvel fame was sketching, which felt perfectly suited to the setting and made an already unusual night even more memorable. The space is gorgeous: candlelight, artwork, strange little details everywhere, dramatic lighting, beautiful glassware, and even the outdoor fire element. There's so much to look at that you feel like you're discovering something new every time you turn around. Our whole group LOVES Halloween, so this felt like the absolute perfect way to kick off spooky season. It has exactly the kind of dark, mysterious, slightly magical atmosphere we were hoping for without feeling cheesy or gimmicky. We loved the rum so much that we ended up buying a bottle, which also granted us Level 1 membership, so this definitely won't be our only visit. Such a fun choice for a birthday celebration, date night, or a night out with friends when you want something completely different from the usual bar experience. We're already looking forward to going back and seeing what our new membership unlocks.
