Every time we come to Chicago, we do a take out from Liberty Tavern at the Hilton. They have delicious sandwiches and the staff, especially, Kenneth, is super customer-focused. Great environment, too! We always say we are going to come in and dine (we stay at the hotel next door), but it's so quick & efficient that we enjoy the takeout! Typically, we have come into town after a 4 hr drive and it sure is convenient to relax and eat in our room! Someday soon, we will come in to eat. Previously, when I was on business coming thru Chicago, I did eat at the Liberty Tavern. I can say it was wonderful. If you are going to eat a "Handheld" sandwich, I highly recommend the "Smashburger." Look at the pictures! That burger is DELICIOUS!" Come on in and ask Kenneth! read more

A good start to the day requires a good breakfast. When I have to travel to The Windy City, I always schedule a night at the Hilton so I can have breakfast at Liberty Tavern. They make a fantastic corned beef hash! Definitely not like anything from a can or a fast food joint. Bring an appetite. Service is always good and the place is well appointed. Clean and stylish decorations. Check them out. read more

This is located within the Hilton Rosemont Hotel. I was at the hotel for a convention. There was a break and I was a little hungry...figured an appetizer would be perfect. I didn't want anything too big so I settled with the truffle spinach artichoke dip. It was good, but I didn't taste any truffle! It was served with soft pita bread. The pita bread paired well! Service was okay. My waiter checked on me a few times. read more

The pot pie was out of this world! Luis is the greatest bartender! He and Kenny, our waiter, should do stand-up! We came from LA and met my parents from Michigan and Luis and Kenny made our dinner memorable. Luis fixed me up with his special "Mexican Alka-Seltzer" the next morning which truly cured the hangover! You are the best, Luis, I love you to pieces and I'll see you next year! read more

Quick stop for apps before heading to the airport. Super great service and fast apps! The most friendly and attentive breakfast hotel staff, I've ever met! Predictable buffet, so order the omelette and save the coffee order for Starbucks next door. Waitstaff was so great! This restaurant is inside the Hilton hotel so it's convenient for guests. This review is for the breakfast only, which I couldn't find a menu online so this review is mainly to post the breakfast menu. I had an omelette, which was fine but nothing great. The service friendly but a little slow at 6am but the food comes fast. Nothing was wrong, it just didn't impress me. If I wasn't here on business I'd be having breakfast across the lobby at Starbucks. read more

The ambiance is excellent. The restaurant has a very peaceful and clean vibe. The service was speedy and attentive. Fries are really good very well salted. Brussel sprouts are seasoned decently a little too sweet for me. Friend asked for a side of bacon and they easily accommodated the request. Bacon was good and crispy. All food arrived hot. read more

Wow, this restaurant surprised me so much. The food and service was impeccable! I work across the street and decided to give them a try despite some of the not so great reviews. They start you off with freshly baked bread and butter (shaped in flowers!) We ordered the charcuterie board, the short rib flatbread, the soup of the day (tomato and basil), and the chicken pot pie. While the prices I admit are a little steep, the food and service make up for it! We also sat next to the fireplace which is so nice on a cold day. All the food was amazing especially the chicken pot pie. I love pot pie and the flavor in this was so good. The service (thank you Alessandra and Yuli) was honestly the best I have ever received in a restaurant. They are so nice and attentive and your drinks will be topped before you get to the bottom. I will definitely be back! read more

Didn't bother to update their times, I wasted precious time coming to their restaurant to find out they are not open for the more hours. The woman I spoke to(no visible name tag) said she didn't have control over Yelp, only her (the restaurants) website, yet they can't get it right there either. If you don't want people coming, especially at a hotel, close down. read more

The chicken sandwich was horrible. Half of the chicken was old & crusty. The fries were alright, but a bit cold.

I am generally not super impressed with hotel restaurants. The Liberty Tavern is an exception. We came in during restaurant week and all of us were impressed. Kenneth took care of us, and he was exceptional! The food was fantastic, made to order and fresh. My mom had the potato soup, risotto (no mushrooms) and the s'mores bar; my husband had the Cesar salad, the salmon and banana pudding; and I had the arancini, chicken pot pie and banana pudding; we all left plenty full and saying we would come back. read more

Very close to conference center. Food was fast and very good we had the chicken pot pie and the chicken sandwich. Simple and yummy.

The Liberty Tavern is inside the Hilton hotel. Garage parking is validated for Breakfast with Santa event. Less than 5 years old are free with a paying adult. While waiting for our reservation, there's Starbucks inside the lobby and plenty of festive photo ops. Hotel always live up to its name. Hotel is well maintained & staff was a alamce of professional and down to earth. Breakfast buffet was decent. Santa was phenomenal; he acted the part pretty well that he was Santa. My daughter enjoyed decorating Christmas cookie, making an ornament, and writing a letter to Santa. However, our Santa photo will be delivered to our address because the printer malfunctioned. read more

My coworker and I are staying at the hotel this is in and we're considering going elsewhere to eat for dinner but due to -2 temperature we decided to eat here. We're very glad we did. We got artichoke dip for appetizer and enjoyed it. He got a flatbread and I got the branzino and were happy with our meal. I really liked the sides that came with the branzino. The best part of the meal was the service. Our waiter was A+. read more

I've eaten breakfast here more than once and have no complaints. It's typical hotel restaurant fare, the buffet has all the usual trappings, but when they have an omelet station, you're better than most. That's my 2c. read more

3 due to the friendliness of the staff. They were wonderful and kind throughout the whole dining experience. However, if I were rating the food only, it would be a 1. The menu is extremely limited for a main restaurant at a hotel. And the food is tasteless. I even added some red chili pepper to my pasta and it was absolutely bland. Definitely will plan to eat somewhere else. read more

I got a martini and fish tacos to go. $40. This is not a $20 martini place. I was disappointed when I got the bill. Still was hopeful about the tacos....... For $18 I got three cold, yes cold corn tortillas. The fish was dry and I honestly feel microwaved. The 1/4 avocado was browning on the edges but was sadly the shining moment of the tacos. I will say the chorizo retried beans were hot and good. They were more like a chili and frankly thank goodness for them because they became my meal. I get that people at hotels are a lot of times on expense accounts but that is no reason to screw them over. Martini was average at best ( full hotel, Friday night and they run out of blue cheese olives???) and food was way below par. Thank goodness for delivery because I won't eat here again. read more

This restaurant is located in the Hilton across the street from my office. I would say it is probably what you expect from a hotel restaurant. I have tried a variety of things on the menu, you're usually pretty safe with any of the sandwiches or salads. The French onion soup is great as well. I tried the Mac n cheese the other day, and it was an overall table consensus of not good. Tip: check your bank statements and keep your receipts! I caught that I had a random charge from a weekend (hence NOT at work) for almost 90$. Waiting on the reimbursement now. Unfortunately I had to REDUCE stars. I got charged YET again for over $100 bill that I was not there. While they helpful it was incredibly frustrating. I will not be back. Beware or splitting checks because they claim that was the reasoning behind these ghost charges. read more

Ordinary restaurant that's part of the Hilton Rosemont O'Hare hotel. They offer meals throughout the day. I went for breakfast over the weekend and had the option of either ordering off an a la carte menu or ordering the breakfast buffet ($24). I opted for the Eggs Your Way off the a la carte menu ($15), which comes with two eggs, choice of meat, potatoes or fruit, and wheat or white toast. I order two eggs over easy, bacon, fruit, and white toast. No complaints about anything, but no highlights either, hence the average rating. Portion size was just right, but slightly pricey for rations offered, if you ask me. read more

I really love the food at Liberty Tavern. Lucky for me it's directly across the street from my office, so I stop in here for lunch often. They recently changed their menu, and everything I've tried is really good. My absolute favorite is the burrata salad. It has a base of Arugula that has been drizzled with balsamic, then it's topped with prosciutto, heirloom tomatoes, burrata, and two crispy pieces of bread. It's the perfect amount of food so you're not left feeling overstuffed after lunch. They also have a great buffalo chicken salad and parmesan fries! read more

The food was just ok, I would have given 2 stars but the paid parking was $35 for lunch, which is outrageous! I didn't realize that this restaurant is in the Hilton Hotel. I won't be back. Not sure where I saw some good reviews but I feel like I was catfished. read more

Came in for dinner while staying at the Hilton. Staff was friendly and they had some decent local beers on tap. I went with the Two Brothers Wiesse which was crisp and delicious. I started with the pumpkin-sweet potato soup which was topped with crumbled goat cheese and toasted pumpkin seeds and served with rosemary-parmesan garlic toast. The soup was not overly sweet and the consistency was thick and creamy. It had plenty of pumpkin flavor without being overly sweet. I also ordered the seared ahi tuna appetizer which came with pickled onions and sliced avocado. The tuna was not over cooked and had the pickles were a nice compliment to the richness of the tuna. Yummy burratta salad! Nice mix of crunch from the croutons and arugula, creaminess from the burratta, and saltiness from the prosciutto. There are complimentary rolls which was good for sopping up the rest of the balsamic. My mom enjoyed her pumpkin soup. We also ordered the homemade adobo chips were warm and had a great mild spice to them. We sat in the bar area which has TVs to watch the game. I really wanted to try the Jack Daniels flight which consists of Old No 7, Gentlemans Jack, Single Barrel, and Frank Sinatra but it was a Sunday evening and my girlfriend said no... I gotta come back for this cuz it was only $20 to try all of them! The mixed cocktails seem over priced though. If I'm gonna spend $15 for 1 cocktail it better be the best one I've ever had. read more

This was the restaurant in my hotel. Really a disappointment. Ordered the tortilla soup, while the flavor was very good- the texture was very odd. I can't figure out quite what it was- just odd to the point that it was hard to eat. Also ordered the beet salad with steak. Again- just not good. The beets were raw and shaved and seemed dried out. It was served with what they described as "almond bacon brittle"- didn't go at all. And the steak was really, really fatty. Really a bummer. read more

Came here with a big group. They were able to seat 15 of us around a big, round table in a semiprivate room. The atmosphere is modern and classy. $60 (including undeserved low tip of $10) for 2 orders of seriously undercooked pancakes, 2 orders of forgotten bacon we weren't charged for but needed the protein, and crappy service. The syrup was high fructose corn syrup crap, if you are selling $25 pancakes and coffee at least use real maple syrup. The cut up fruit garnish was good. We ate that, they didn't care their pancakes sucked. We just paid and left then had to pay to get something else. Seriously order Uber Eats or chose some where else if staying at Rosemont. We had burgers the night before in same restaurant, I ask, is how we want them cooked but then brought us both burgers cooked a totally different temperature lol it a over priced joke with bad service. This restaurant is across the street from my office so I'm here for lunch pretty often. It's basically what you'd expect from a hotel restaurant; decent, quick and little variety. With that being said, it's a safe bet. Food isn't anything out of this world but it's also not bad. It's pricey for what it is (usually $19 for lunch for a salad, soup and Coke.)
