It's ok for brewing place extremely small the couches in the very front entrance are ok but it's the foyer of this pace there's some bar stools and table. The back area is ok. It's kinda weird a bit creepy for me with the "diamond" creations being made from cremations. I'm sure it's better weather permitting outside with chairs and tables. Fibs is a nice and laid back place. I came here on a beautiful summer early evening, so there was outdoor seating. The lady who helped us in the counter was very friendly and welcoming. I tried a flight of the seltzers and a Kolsch. The flavors of the seltzers were delicious but I liked their Kolsch the best. We also ordered Sausage & Pepperoni pizza. Fibs is a total vibe and I love the FIBS (F*ck1nG Illinois Bastards) who work there lol. Dean and Greg are two awesome dudes who run this cute little brewery. My girlfriends and I were getting dinner around the area and discovered this gem of a spot. It's right by the high school I went to. I thought it was new but they've actually been open for six years! It's a pretty small place with limited seating. They have card games, board games, and delicious drinks. We started off with a shot of Scooby Snack ($9- YUM! It tastes like a piña colada). I tried their Guatemalan Grappler ($8) which was SO good, like an espresso martini, but in beer form. So creamy and delicious. I also had the Eight-Legged Octopus ($8), a light and tasty drink! My girlfriends also really enjoyed PBJB ($8), tastes like peanut butter & raspberry jelly sandwich, but in beer form, and Nefarious Sinberry ($8). We stayed at Fibs for hours just yapping away. We got to take a shot with Greg and yap away with Dean. We also tried one of their bar snacks, crackers with goat cheese. They gave us a WHOLE tub of cheese. Amazing. They offer a variety of beers , some unusual, like the jolly rancher. They were all very good., and they can be purchased in a different sizes. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly and has indoor and outdoor seating. The server was very nice and his suggestions were great. I am new to the neighborhood. Walk into this brewery, off the beaten path and was warmly greeted by Evan. I told him what I liked and he recommended the Leotis Box, an excellent Belgian lager. Bar stools and graffiti laced tables are de rigueur with a backdrop of brewery kilns and pizza ovens. The bar is varnished natural wood with seating for four. I love locally sourced brewed beers. Moved from Iowa and I like connecting with the community and with the owner welcoming I would say I felt connected. Tried 5 Beers watermelon jolly rancher's Fib Cage, some cream ale, some IPA and chocolate coffee all of them were different. Pizzas in the house were good This was overall a fun place to be! Went here a few weeks ago. They had a decent selection of beers and you can try them in different sizes which was nice. We sat outside since the weather was great. The lighting from the buildings was horrendous at night. There was also a party with a band; when the band was playing you could not speak to another person and actually hear them. This is an out of the way place that you should make time to visit. Great pizza and beer. Not a lot of variety of pizza but what they do they do well. Great beer variety with inventive flavors. It took me 3 years but I finally made it to check it out. I am so glad that I did. Stoped in to try their cream ale and stayed for a flight, pizza, malort, and too a crowler to go!. The bar/ bar only has 3 seats but everyone is extra extra friendly and accomodating (there is plenty of seats in another room and outside). Had a blast chatting with people from Seattle, Canada, Pittsburgh, St. Louis who were also popping in for the first time, and a regular from a few blocks away. Can't talk this place up enough....and that's even before you start drinking beer. Beer also delicious. I like Kolsches and Cream Ales, was not disappointed. Des plaines certainly isn't known for its brewery scene, but this is a cool addition to the suburban neighborhood! The beers are good, and it can stand on its own with other Chicago craft breweries. The place is tiny, but they have excellent production. I believe there were 8 beers on tap when we visited. Impressive for a small brewery. The beers were very tasty. My favorite was the Death plaines, Leotis box & Muddy fudder. They have a wide variety of beer styles, which means there's something tasty for everyone. The space was super cool, and had some great decor. The brewery name itself is also funny, owner must be from Wisconsin . Staff was super friendly, and helpful with questions. they also provided some bar snacks for munching, but you are able to bring in outside food. Was a very friendly owner and I enjoyed stopping by and getting a couple of crowlers. They were patient with me trying a few things and taking our time to decide. Has some basic but good brews and some more unusual ones. I really liked the unusual as is my taste and the others are good solid brews done well. Prices are a bit high but not too bad. The atmosphere is easy going but in non covid times there isn't a lot of seating. Still a good little place to hang out it seems it would be. They had a good sour but my dad doesn't like them much so we got a stout and a scotch ale. I liked all that I tried. You have to stop in! My husband and I were heading to Rosemont for the weekend from the south suburbs and we were looking to grab a quick bite and drink. Upon researching local breweries, Fibs popped up on the list. I am grateful! We were greeted by a friendly woman that introduced us to the brews and offered suggestions. Needless to say, two hours later, we had a couple flights, some full pours, nibbled on some great thin crust sausage pizza and played several rounds of Connect Four (chosen from their interesting game selections)! It is a small and quaint place, but has a ton of character! To call their craft beers amazing is really an understatement - my personal favorite was the Guatemalan Grappler (Nitro). It is rich with flavors of dark cocoa, coffee, and had a subtle sweetness that gave it a sleek taste and flavor. I only tried three of their drinks, but I was tempted to buy each drink they could possibly sell due. All of their drinks are so unique and creative. Not to mention, their pizza is DELICIOUS.
