Hi there, This isn't a review but just me trying to get in touch with someone from Liberty regarding a bedbug follow up service I received on 7/12. The tech said he was going to be using something different than the first treatment and that if I wanted to find out what it was / what was in it, I could contact the company and they would send me the info. I called the office and left a VM around 9am when the tech finished the treatment. I went to work etc and when I came back about 13 hours later, the smell was overpowering. Since it didn't smell the first time after 5 hours of being away, I wasn't sure if it was normal / okay for me to be there, so I called the emergency line to see if anyone had any advice on what to do. I wound up going to a hotel since I didn't really know what to do at that point. I tried a few more times to get in touch w someone and then went to sleep. I called again this morning and the guy who answered said he would have someone get back to me. I called again later in the day and again this evening. He seemed surprised that I still hadn't heard back. He said someone named Ian was going to get back to me if that helps? I also emailed my landlord to see if they could at least give me some info from the tech report that could be helpful, but no word from him either. Then I emailed the general Liberty email address. My place still smells pretty bad and I haven't heard back from anyone yet. Can someone please get back to me? I would appreciate it. I will keep trying to reach you guys on a daily basis online / via phone etc. until I hear back. NYC hotels aren't cheap and I would like to get out of the hotel and unpack my things. read more

Liberty does my building in queens and they are the most basic exterminator. They toss down a couple glue traps and tell you you probably should plug holes in the apartment. Really minimal provider would not recommend. read more

I am shocked after reading some of these reviews! liberty pest control has been my go to exterminating company for my business the past 4 years ! never once had one complaint .... same day service on emergencies as well including yesterday - had technician come within 45 minutes of my phone call on a busy Saturday afternoon ! they come twice a month like clock work without me ever having to remind them ! I work at a midtown restaurant and received a call from a person trying to solicit business from us. My boss asked me to politely decline which I did and that's when the salesman went off the rails yelling, "you are not interested now but you will be when your restaurant is overrun with roaches and mice droppings". I let him go on for a minute (mostly out of shock) and when I asked why he was being so rude he got even more angry saying "Rude! I'm being rude?" uh yes and completely inappropriate. I unfortunately found that i have a mouse or maybe mice in my house. My daughter had recommended Liberty pest control. I am ver pleased. They came the same day I called and examined my house very thoroughly. Within a few minutes of being in the house the technician located where they were coming in. He set a number of traps and plugged up openings and put a poison powder inside holes of entry and protected my family from being exposed to these chemicals. I work for a restaurant and received a call from sales rep Caroline, asking about our pest control services. Knowing this was not a company we work with, I informed her that we are not interested and hung up the phone. (Honestly more politely than most people respond to telemarketers.) she called back and my colleague picked up and was extremely polite to her (more so than I was) and also said we are happy with the service we currently use not interested in changing, to which Caroline responded "you know, you sound really stupid." My cousin and I co-own a commercial business that used Liberty Pest Control for about a year. Liberty did a terrible job. We kept calling the office to complain and they did nothing to fix their incompetence. Their technicians are always late, don't come on the correct day or don't come at all. Our roach problems were worst than before we had any service at all! But they kept charging our credit card without any issues at all. What a scam. Once we fired them they continued to call us constantly, at least once a week, asking us to hire them. WE FIRED YOU! PAY ATTENTION! STOP CALLING! Look somewhere else for your pest control needs. Liberty Pest Control is the absolute worst company I have ever interacted with in my life. I've seen an uptick in cockroaches since they started coming to my apartment. They came 5 times. Each time the technician comes, they want me to tell him where to aim to spray his roach chemical. If your only value add is to shoot the chemical, then why do we need to hire you?? The chemicals don't even work! One technician came to set up sticky traps to help him identify the problem areas so he can resolve them in a follow-up visit. During the follow-up visit, the conversation went like this: Me: Okay so the technician came last week and he set up 8 sticky traps around the apartment. Hopefully we can use that to isolate the problem area. Liberty Pest Control Technician: So where do you want me to spray? Me: I think there were more caught in the bathroom. Liberty Pest Control Technician: *Walks into bathroom. Okay where do you want me to spray in the bathroom? How is this business still operating?
