Trying to get my service set up online was a bust. If you've never had an account with them, you can't do it online. Then you call and wait for a long time only to find out you have to be transferred to pay your deposit and then CALL BACK to finish getting your service started. They can transfer you to make a payment but can't transfer you back. I'm now waiting for another "estimated 15 minutes." Starting service means you have to be there the whole day--8 to 4 and 6 days out is the earliest. It's quite comfortable having a monopoly, isn't it? Ridiculous. Zero stars. read more

We just moved here and they shut off our gas with no warning or communication, the tech had to have seen the two vehicles and our trailer in the street and lights on with people inside. Didn't knock or warn us about it, no note or tag. The man on the emergency line was rude and condescending, I'm assuming because he had to actually do his job. When we finally get things squared away it take them TWO DAY TO GET IT BACK ON. Terrible costumer service inconsiderate and rude. Typical monopolized utilities service. The customer service in Columbus, GA at Liberty Gas, need more experience on what's going with their computer system. I was charge $528 for their mistake, due to updates with the computer systems. I talked with one on the manager and she couldn't give me a clear answer on the reading of the gas meters. And had no Ideal what happened, so please check your bill everyday because Liberty Gas in Columbus, GA is over charging their customers. I pay my bills on time every month and sometimes over paid but still, she couldn't answer the question why my gas meter is saying something different from my statement. She also told me that she was going to find out and call me back, I never received a call back. I encouraged everyone to please pay attention to your bill because, they got over on me and I don't won't this to happen to anyone else. This is not a good Company. read more

I was scheduled for a hook up from 12-4. I drove 4 hours to make sure I was there because I was in the process of moving. I waited well after 4 and no one showed up no phone call or anything. I called and told me I would have to wait another hour. I had to be back in Mobile so I had to reschedule. They wanted 150$ deposit and 40$ start up fee for me to take over an existing account (transfer). They don't check credit like most places or either want to use it as a means of ripping people off if they pay late .... I've never paid for a utility to be turned on that I can ever remember...
