Make sure to get a Shell FRN card to get at least 3 cents off per gallon (up to 20 gallons). The downside to it being in a very convenient part of town is that it is ALWAYS packed. So, do be ready for a little wait at the pumps. I haven't been inside the Circle K, but it seems to always be packed as well--people always in and out buying sodas, snacks, paying for gas, etc. Bottom line is that I would definitely stop by this Shell if you need gas.

There are assorted low-lifes who try to use the property as a hangout but a fence had recently been installed to keep them at bay in the rear of the store. Fresh fruit is always available, which I really like, and it is actually a popular item. Better than a bag of chips or candy bar when you crave a snack. You can get deals on 2-liter soda and the grill items are always plentiful and available. Cold sandwiches like subs are no more expensive than at WalMart. Service is available very late at night via the outside walkup window and drawer and that can be very handy. Prices on beer and many drink items were actually lowered over the summer. The coffee urns are always full and the coffee counter is CLEAN. There were Halloween lollypops for the children today and the ladies fussed over a young boy one of the regular customers proudly brought into the store - obviously the man's grandson. Some of the the commercial buildings in this neighborhood need a makeover or redevelopment - but that's on the City of Columbus and private owners. Regular maintenance is done to keep the building looking good and I often see a handyman painting or cleaning up. As convenience stores go, this one is at the top of my list.

On one visit, got the Mediterranean quiche, which is gluten free (all their quiches are crustless!) and it was honestly one of the best quiches I've ever had, even before developing a gluten allergy. Extremely cheesy and flavorful. Very cute, fun, high energy cafe.

The Oreo version bordered on overly sweet, but the buckeye nailed creamy peanut butter interior with crisp chocolate shell and layered flavors--excellent execution. Portion sizes on wings were generous and satisfying. The pizza itself could use more moisture and topping heft. What truly sets this place apart is the self-serve tap wall--an absolute game-changer. Wristband in hand, you pour your own beers, wines, or cocktails at your pace, no bartender small talk required. It's liberating, fun, and undeniably cool--the most innovative beverage experience I've encountered. Service started slow; as first-timers, we lingered without clear guidance on the system. Once oriented, though, the staff proved attentive and the vibe groovy with fitting music. Overall: strong on creative apps, stellar desserts, and that revolutionary tap wall, but the pizza and some wings need refinement.
