IYou can drive about 10-15 minutes and get to LaGrange), where you have bigger chains like Publix, Walmart Supercenter, or Kroger, but sticking to Pine Mountain proper, it's pretty much the Pine Mountain Supervalue or the Dollar General. I'll let you guess which one has more foodstuffs. We were visiting the Pine Mountain area and wanted to get some supplies and so checked out the Pine Value Supervalu store. The store itself is bright, super clean, and surprisingly well-organized for a smaller-town supermarket. Everything was easy to find. The produce looked fresh. The employees were pleasant and helpful for out-of-towners like us. Overall, it's the only real grocery store right in Pine Mountain, so if you're visiting Callaway Gardens (10-15 minutes away), FDR State Park (basically up the road), or doing the Wild Animal Safari drive-through, this place is perfectly located to stock up on picnic stuff, cooler drinks, sunscreen, or whatever you forgot to pack. It is nothing fancy, but it's clean, friendly, convenient, and has everything you need. I'd happily stop here again next time we're in the area!
