What a wonderful company! So friendly and accommodating. I had a 7am flight out of Boston. I live in Plymouth and my Lyft driver, that I reserved days before, cancelled 20 minutes before my pickup time. I frantically tried ordering Ubers and Lyfts over the course of 45 minutes and absolutely no drivers were taking my request. By that point I was already late for my flight and had to reschedule to later that morning. I then starting calling different cab services. Liberty Cab was the only company that answered the phone at 6:30 and kindly took me on as a passenger. They promptly picked me up and got me to Logan safely. Got two rides from Joe within the space of couple days from Quincy to Somerville and then from Quincy to BOS airport within the last week. Both times were great! He arrived to pick me up slightly early. Great conversation during the rides too. It was a little on the pricey side, but the times and the destinations balanced it out. I took this taxi.befor the owner was very rude was not so nice he drives way too fast. Looks. Like he lives in his car my god i took checker and tower taxi. Driver was on time for our 4:30am pick up. When we got to the airport I realized I lost my husband's phone. When we landed in Florida (our home state) I called the company on a whim and found out the driver found it on the floor of the car and turned it in so they overnighted it to us that Monday. We were so thankful!! They were very courteous, the car was super clean and the driver was very pleasant. We will definitely use them when we return to MA. read more

Liberty Cab #110 cant drive at all. I had him the other day and his driving is atrocious. He doesnt belong behind the wheel. He is an accident waiting to happen. He needs to be let go. Rude and unprofessional whoever answered the phone!!; Never even used his services who was so ignorant and quick to answer no!! It makes sense why these taxi company's are a dying breed!! Lyft and Uber are at least consistent and courteous and to boot they actually have nice cars that don't sound like your going to be spending half your time waiting for a tow truck to get you to your final destination!! These people need to up in personality for what they lack in 1)PRICE 2)the 40 year old caravans they say " in perfect running condition.meanwhioe Elvis shaked, rattled and.rollled better than.this.POS 3) since you still run on meters my suggestion and this is just my opinion, you probably should make.sure these meters work.and not just say idk its about $15.00 each way! 4)last but not least my guess is this is New England and i enjoy a nice cool comfortable car in the summer so i don't end up with bologna rings around my armpits b4 my meeting!! Here are my experiences with this company. They are surly. If you approach a taxi at Braintree station and you are not going to be a fare over $10, you catch attitude. if you call them on the phone and you aren't going far enough they tell you to the wait is 45 minutes these people are total and absolute losers and to go the extra mile they're always rude and nasty to you, take a Lyft. they wonder why the taxi business is declining it's because they're rude obnoxious and ignorant most especially the a dispatcher this guy answers the phone and he is just an absolute positive jerk. read more

I'll start off with the good things, they were there on time for both of my pickups From there it only gets worse. I booked this company for a ride to and from the airport. I was quoted $32 for each way including tolls on the phone 2 days before my trip. I was also assured that both drivers would be able to take credit cards. on the ride to the airport, the driver told me the rate was now $42 each way including tolls, and he couldn't take credit cards at all. On the way back i gave them another shot, but then they wanted to charge me $42 PLUS tolls, plus $4 for using a credit card. To top it off both cabs were horribly dirty and the one for the ride back had windows that had to be slid down with your hands, not a crank but you had to press your hands against them and pull them down.... Stay away from this cab company, dishonest pricing and poor service plus very dirty cabs = no thanks read more

This place SUCKS! Zero stars! The man who answers the phone who I later heard was the OWNER is rude and unreliable! I called at 9 am for a cab and he gave me a 15 min wait time . At 9:55 I had to call back & ask where my can was because he didn't even call me back. He said he doesn't know what happen and why I wasn't picked up but wasn't really sorry about it. He then have me another give mins to call someone else and ten minutes later I called back. He was real rude and said it wasn't his fault he already apologize and what did I want him to do! Disgusting attitude ! I called another cab & when they arrived someone from liberty had arrived also and I clearly did not ride with them. this company gets no stars from me charged me $30 from logan express to 139 on randolph stoughton line, on the van stats the rates like a normal taxi service and then he charged me a rate he had to look up in a book. Really wish I did a google on this company before I got in the car. read more

I am a legit customer ....This company is a rip off! Used them today from the Braintree Logan Express and got charged $35! Their driver had the nerve to tell me that $40 was ok when I finally paid. I am an employee at a local hotel and called Liberty Cab Company at 2 o'clock in the afternoon for a guest needing a cab for 5 o'clock that same night. Even though the employee who I spoke with said the cab would be at the hotel by 5pm, the taxi never showed up. When I called the company asking where the cab was I was rudely told they would contact the cab. After a while, the cab still haden't arrived at the hotel and I called the company again. This time when I said who I was, I got hung up on. This company has terrible rates and even worse customer service. I wouldn't reccommend this cab company to my worst enemy. read more
